College Encourages faculty members to participate in International, National &
State Level programmes for their knowledge enhancement and motivates faculty
members for research paper publications in reputed journals.
All departments have been encouraged to have a research component in the existing curriculum.
In March 2017 an initiative was conceived to encourage research competency among students, ‘OUR – Opportunity for Undergraduate research’ programme is conceived. Under this ‘OUR’ a senior faculty member in each of the department is assigned with the responsibility to encourage/undertake research with social value addition.
As first step/project of the proposition, financial support was provided for the first short term explorative research undertaken by BBA II and IV semester students, as to encourage interaction between society and academia. This was first step taken to foster research culture in the college and also develop research aptitude among students.
