Palest’In & Out promotes the young contemporary creation, intellectual courage and freedom based on demanding artistic criteria. Since 2015, the Palest’In & Out Award entailed in the Festival, sheds the light on selected young artists under 35 years old, by a Palestinian and international, jury composed of renowned artists and heads of cultural institutions and festivals.

These young talents are being not only recognized by their ainés, which is already an immense encouragement in their artistic development, but they are offered the chance to perform during a special Festival, especially tailored for them in a spirit of exchange of experiences with the participation of international artists. Palest’In & Out reconnects Palestinians from the “in” and the “out” and enlarges international artistic stages and proposes other cultural references, different perspectives and visions of humanity conveyed by the artists in an original and creative language and aesthetics.

For the first time since its creation in 2015, after two first editions in Paris, in June 2015 and July 2016 where they could confront their artistic production to external readings, Palest’ In & Out is moving to Palestine. Scheduled throughout the festival’s events in Palestine from 23 to 30 October 2016, this year’s laureates were hosted at the International city of Arts of Paris during three months following the Parisian Festival edition from 7 to 13 July 2016.

Revealing Palestinian creation in its latest contemporary form, in its diverse ways of expression, in the subjects it tackles, is to reflect the best off the new artistic scene, in its sincerity, creativity and innovation, the Festival contributes as well in the re-appropriation of one’s own image more consistent with today’s reality, to reaffirm one’s multiple identity, too often rejected.

Organized by the French-Palestinian Cultural Institute, the second edition of this festival offers an amazing programme which overturns the usual clichés conveyed on Palestinian culture. Alternative music, contemporary dance, installations, photography and video-art, all these artistic categories intermingle beautifully! The Festival includes a multitude of events this year : concerts, performances, film screenings, exhibitions and artists talks and has decided to pay a special tribute to three exceptional women who have contributed to reveal Palestinian artistic expression to the world: Vera Tamari, Hiam Abbass and Vera Tamari… these are some of the key moments for precious exchange between cultures, generations and experiences in Jerusalem, Ramallah, Nablus, Jericho, Gaza and Haifa from 23 to 30 October 2016.

Palest’In & Out would not have been possible without the numerous partners that support the Festival and notably the Welfare Association, the French Institute, the International city of Arts in Paris, PADICO Holdings, Al-Nasher, the Mission of Palestine in France and the cooperation of Al-Mashghal Music Factory and all venues which generously warmly welcome the events.

Finally, nothing could have happened without the wonderful crew that put all its energy, resources and networks to convey the spirit of the Festival: the intimate conviction that Art goes far beyond a luxury, it is a vital resource for freedom and dignity. A big applause to these wonderful ladies, immense professionals, namely: Marion Slitine, Lina Soualem, Lina El Herfi, Charlotte Schwarzinger, Aurélia Mazoyer.

يشجع مهرجان فلسطين الداخل والخارج االبتكار المعاصر الشاب، وشجاعة الفكر والحرية، مرتكزا على معايير فنية عالية. منذ سنة 2015 تسلط جائزة فلسطين الداخل والخارج التي ادمجت في المهرجان،

الضوء على فنانين شباب تحت سن الـ35 مختارين من لجنة فلسطينية ودولية، مكونة من كبار الفنانين ومن مديرين مهرجنات ومؤسسات ثقافية.

باالضافة الى اعتراف كبار الفنانين والذي يعتبر تشجيعا كبيرا لتنميتهم الفنية، تمنح هذه المواهب الشابة فرصة االداء في مهرجان مصمم خصيصا لهم بروح تبادل التجارب بمشاركة فنانين دوليين. فلسطين الداخل والخارج يربط بين الفلسطينيين من الداخل )IN( ومن الخارج )OUT( ويوسع الساحة

الفنية الدولية ويقترح مراجع ثقافية اخرى، مناظير اخرى ورؤيات للبشرية منقولة من فنانين بلغة وجمال مبدعيين.

للمرة االولى منذ انشائه في عام 2015، بعد اول نشرتين في باريس في يونيو 2015 ويوليو 2016 حيث تمكنوا من مواجهة القرائات الخارجية بانتاجاتهم الفنية، فلسطين الداخل والخارج يتنقل الى

فلسطين. المهرجان مبرمج في جميع انحاء فلسطين من 26 الى 30 اكتوبر 2016، والحائزون على جائزة هذه السنة تم استضافتهم في مدينة الفنون الدولية في باريس لمدة ثالثة اشهر عقب النشرة

الباريسية للمهرجان من 7 الى 13 يوليو 2016.

التعريف على االنشاء الفلسطيني في احدث اشكاله، في طرق تعبيره المتنوعة، في المواضيع التي يتناولها، هو اظهار االفضل في الساحة الفنية الجديدة، في اخالصها وابداعها و ابتكارها. المهرجان يساهم ايضا في استعادة صورة شخصية اكثر اتساقا مع حقيقة اليوم، العادة تأكيد تععد الهويات

المرفوضة غالبا.

بتنظيم المركز الثقافي الفرنسي الفلسطيني، تقدم النشرة الثانية للمهرجان برنامجا رائع ينقلب على االفكار المبتذلة عن الثقافة الفلسطينية. الموسيقى البديلة، والرقص المعاصر، والمنشآت،

والتصوير الفوتوغرافي وفنون الفيديو، كل هذه الفئات الفنية ممزوجة بشكل جميل! يتضمن المهرجان العديد من الفعاليات هذا العام: حفالت موسيقية وعروض، عرض أفالم ومعارض،

محادثات مع فنانين، كما قرر ان يعبر عن التقدير الخاص لثالث نساء متميزات ساهموا في الكشف عن التعبير الفني الفلسطيني للعالم: فيرا تماري وهيام عباس وفيرا تماري... هذه لحظات مهمة لتبادل

ثمين بين الثقافات واألجيال والخبرات في القدس ورام الله ونابلس وأريحا وغزة وحيفا من 23 الى 30 اكتوبر 2016.

تحقق فلسطين الداخل والخارج بفضل دعم المهرجان من العديد من الشركاء وخصوصا جمعية الرعاية االجتماعية، والمعهد الفرنسي، والمدينة الدولية للفنون في باريس، وباديكو هولدينج، ومؤسسة الناشر، وسفارة فلسطين في فرنسا، ومؤسسة التعاون، ومصنع الموسيقى ›‹المشغل‹‹ وجميع

YOUNG VISUAL ART SCENE FROM PALESTINE

Within the framework of the two first editions of the Palest’In & Out Festival in 2015 and 2016, the French Palestinian Cultural Institute presents the laureates of the Palest’In & Out Award in photography, plastic arts and video art, selected by a jury of artists renowned internationally.

This exhibition tends to be a journey into various medias, narratives and iconographies to reflect the diversity and creativity of the emerging visual arts scene of Palestine.

Rebuild the bond

“Rebuild the bond” reflects the state-of-the-art of the production of emerging talents coming from a large variety of milieus (Gaza, Jerusalem, Haifa, Ramallah, Nablus and even Majed El Shams). The exhibition also pays tribute to the vision of this young generation, entailing a significant intellectual courage and artistic freedom. Through photography, video-art, installation, sculpture, archives or art crafts, these creators reflect the diversity and the creativity of artists from Palestine. Meeting for the first time in Ramallah, this exhibition sheds the light on the dynamism, the plurality and also the polarization of the young Palestinian contemporary art: plurality of aesthetics, dynamism in creativity, polarization of a fragmented geography imposed by occupation. Whether they work in or on Palestine, they have all “experienced their Palestine”. By art, these artists have created their own utopian or critical realities and have forged together a symbolic bridge to their homeland.

But “Rebuild the bond” echoes as well this magic connection facilitated by the Festival, mixing various generations of Palestinian artists across the net. Not only the jury members discovered today’s young Palestinian art production, but they also had to negotiate among themselves and confront their ideas on how and what type of creation should be selected, impacting on the image of Palestinian contemporary art abroad, in Paris notably. Proceeding with demanding selection criteria, the jury has courageously assessed the candidates in this spirit of transmission and knowledge-sharing, regularly stating the difficult position of evaluating their peers’ works. Let them be warmly thanked here.

Finally, “Rebuild the bond” refers to the content of these artworks. The visitor can definitely note the dramatic lasting impact of the collective memory traumatized by the Nakba and today’s daily consequences, even among the youngest generation. The exhibition reveals how the artists address the obsessional “question of Palestine” otherwise and (re)think/(re)construct/(re)build it. Through these eclectic, contemporary and experimental creations, an astounding approach to the conflict is proposed to the audience. Far away from the bloody images of war, this exhibition undercuts the clichés about Palestine. Through innovative narratives, they all strive to shift the gaze cast on the images of Palestine and overcome remaining stereotypes about their land. Thanks to art, these artists create a dialogue between artistic practices and narratives and revisit the notions of borders, walls and frontiers that crisscross Palestinian creation.

Some of these creators express how occupation influences and shapes their daily lives. While the others draw an alternative cartography of their country. Intimate visions, sometimes nostalgic, often amusing, emanate from each artwork, forging a counter-narrative of their daily realities, more utopic, more subversive. Through solid research-based projects, they address exile, confinement, hope of return, territorial fragmentation, the wait, the absence, frontiers, bonds, politics and belonging. These artists reinterpret the usual leitmotiv in the Palestinian visual art history in a very individual, innovative and refreshing ways, revitalizing thus, the Palestinian cultural memory. The Palest’In & Out Exhibition reconnects Palestinians from the “in” and the “out” and strengthens, through culture and art, this fundamental social bond.

Safaa Khatib – 1st Prize 2016 – Studio Bagdad – A mobile studio immortalizes the image of the Jerusalem’s inhabitants, a place threatened to be seized by the Israeli army.

Mahmoud Al-Kurd – 1st Prize 2015 – We Breathe Freedom – Several pictures taken after the Israeli military aggression on Gaza in 2014. This series speaks to the world the history and the injustice which undergo the Palestinians daily life.

Alaa Ghosheh – Special recognition 2016 – Long Distance Relationship – Pictures and collages to reach, beyond the politics, new modes of esthetic expressions.

Asma Ghanem – Special recognition 2015 – Bodies with Notes – Exploration of the naked body, these pictures overtake the limits and experiment the body as much as the image.

Installation

Qais Assali – 1st Prize 2016 – 1948 – Year 1948 through the prism of the international press when a country is threatened with extinction.

Ismail Al-Rozzi – Special recognition 2016 – Gaz Gift/Snow Globe – Ironic reflection of the life of the Palestinian people, in all its contradictions, between shortage of gas and snowball, symbol of enjoyment.

Noor Abu Arafeh – Special recognition 2016 – Observational Desire on Memory that Remain – Multimedia work, creation of archives recomposed from oral history, of artists’ documents and specialized articles.

Randa Maddah – Special recognition 2016 – Bullet on paper – The visual representation of Syrian’s daily life from occupied Golan through with lead pencil drawings.

Video art

Mirna Bamieh – Special recognition 2016 – The Peptimist – Literary and visual extrapolation from the Emile Habibi’s eponym novel.

Mohamed Khalil – Special recognition 2015 – Beghyabak (In your absence)– This video takes the spectator in a world where reality and imagination get mixed. The journey begins like in a dream, a Palestinian who stayed “in the land of 1948” meets a refugee who fled his country.

Randa Maddah – Special recognition 2015 – Light Horizon – This poetic reflection on the human being explores to see the efforts of a woman to create a livable space and make it intimate in a territory molded by violence.

Dima Hourani – 1st Prize 2015 – Past Tense Continuous – It explores the way in which we recreate and relocate our memories. It explores the following questions; how can our nostalgia of the past be affected by the use of modern day technology as an attempt to keep the past present

Deneth Piumakshi Wedaarachchige (Sri Lanka/France) – Invited artist – The Three Musketeers – Work around revisited Palestinian embroidery after an artistic residence in Jerusalem at Al-Ma’mal Foundation and in Ramallah at Qattan Foundation. ‘The Three Musketeers’ is inspired by collective stories of Palestinian child victims who had to scarify their life for something they did not cause, especially during April to July 2014. The medium used, row cover fabric with cotton delicate embroidery works represents the fragile and innocent lives of children and their inner scream of voices asking help from you and me.

Established in Palestine in 2014, Fawda is an experimental band that transcends the tradition of musical performance. A unique blend of deaf poetry, electronic oud, and live electronic production, Fawda brings to life the vibrant chaos of the everyday lives, futures and imaginations in Palestine.

Ayed Fadel is the vocalist force, speaking through a mixture of both formal Arabic and Palestinian dialect, and accompanied by Ghassan Birumi on the electric oud and Nasser Halahlih on the synthesizer. Fawda takes the audience on a journey from stillness to movement, tears to laughter – strangely confusing and brutally inspiring.

Sama Abdulhadi – A.K.A Skywalker – is the first female Palestinian techno DJ and electronic music producer. She started mixing in 2006 around Ramallah and began producing her own music and expanding her interest in synthesis in 2010, with a focus on electronic music, more specifically techno, house and other deeper sub-genres, with a very unique twist of her own.

After acquiring a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering and Music Production from S.A.E. London, she released two albums, “Life’s Pace” a debut EP with Itchycoo Records, and “Quantum Morphosis”, a self-released independent triptych, which is on iTunes and all major platforms.

She then started her career in Cairo in 2013 as an Audio Engineer, Music Producer, Audio Trainer, Sound Designer and publisher at Aywav.

مشهد فن مرئي شاب من فلسطينفي إطار النشرتين األولى والثانية من مهرجان فلسطين الداخل والخارج 2015 و2016، يقدم المعهد الثقافي الفلسطيني الفرنسي الفائزين بجائزة فلسطين الداخل والخارج في التصوير الفوتوغرافي والفنون التشكيلية وفنون الفيديو، الذين تم اختيارها من قبل لجنة تحكيم من الفنانين المشهورين

دوليا.

هذا المعرض يميل إلى أن يكون رحلة إلى مختلف وسائط اإلعالم، وروايات وتصوير أيقوني، يعكس تنوع وإبداع ساحة الفنون البصرية الناشئة في فلسطين.

إعادة بناء الروابط»إعادة بناء الروابط« هو معرض استثنائي يجمع أحد عشر فنانا تشكيليًا شابًا فازوا خالل نسختي

مهرجان فلسطين الداخل والخارج في 2015 و2016.

»إعادة بناء الروابط« يعكس مثال رائع لإلنتاج الفني من المواهب الناشئة القادمة من مجموعة كبيرة ومتنوعة من األوساط )غزة، القدس، حيفا، رام الله، نابلس وحتى مجدل شمس(. كما يكّرم المعرض

رؤية هذا الجيل الشاب التي تنطوي على الشجاعة الفكرية الهامة والحرية الفنية. من خالل التصوير الفوتوغرافي والفيديو آرت والتركيب والنحت واألرشيف أو الحرف الفنية، يعكس هؤالء المبدعون تنوع وإبداع الفنانين الفلسطينيين. اللقاء للمرة األولى في رام الله، هذا المعرض يسلط الضوء على دينامية، وتعددية، وكذلك استقطاب الفن الفلسطيني المعاصر الناشئ: تعددية الجماليات والدينامية في اإلبداع واستقطاب الجغرافية المشتتة المفروضة من قبل االحتالل. سواء كانوا

يعملون في أو على فلسطين، جميعهم اختبروا فلسطين الخاصة بهم. بواسطة الفن، خلق هؤالء الفنانون واقعهم الطوباوي أو النقدي وأقاموا معا جسرا رمزيا إلى وطنهم.

ولكن »إعادة بناء الروابط« يعكس في هذا الصدد أصداء العالقة الخاصة الميّسرة من قبل المهرجان، حيث يجمع أجيال مختلفة من الفنانين الفلسطينيين عبر الشبكة. ولم يكتشف أعضاء لجنة التحكيم

اإلنتاج الفني الفلسطيني للشباب الحالي فقط، ولكن كان عليهم أيضا التشاور فيما بينهم ومواجهة أفكارهم حول كيف وأي نوع من االبداع يجب أن يتم اختياره، مما يؤثر على صورة الفن المعاصر

الفلسطيني في الخارج، في باريس خصوصا. وانطالقا من معايير االختيار المطلوبة، قيّمت لجنة التحكيم بشجاعة المرشحين في هذه الروح من نقل وتبادل المعرفة، مصّرحين باستمرار بموقفهم

الصعب في تقييم أعمال أقرانهم. وأسمحوا لنا هنا أن نشكرهم بحرارة.

وأخيرا، »إعادة بناء الروابط« باالشار إلى مضمون هذه األعمال الفنية، يمكن للزائر أن يالحظ بالتأكيد التأثير الدائم والدرامي في الذاكرة الجماعية والتي تعاني من آثار النكبة ونتائجها اليومية الحالية،

حتى بين الجيل الصغير. يكشف المعرض كيف يعالج الفنانين وسواس »قضية فلسطين« بخالف ذلك، و)إعادة( التفكير بها/ )إعادة( ترتيبها/ )إعادة( بنائها. من خالل هذه اإلبداعات المختارة، المعاصرة

والتجريبية، نهج مذهل للصراع يقدم إلى الجمهور. بعيدا عن الصور الدامية من الحرب، هذا المعرض ال يتعامل مع الكليشيهات حول فلسطين.

من خالل روايات مبتكرة، انهم جميعا يسعون جاهدين لتغيير النظرة الى فلسطين والتغلب على ما تبقى من الصور النمطية عن وطنهم. بفضل الفن، هؤالء الفنانين خلقوا حوار بين الممارسات الفنية

والروايات وأعطوا معاني جديدة لفكرة الحدود والحواجز التي تتقاطع مع االبداع الفلسطيني.

بعض هؤالء المبدعين قاموا بالتعبير عن كيفية تأثير االحتالل على طريقة وشكل الحياة اليومية للفلسطينيين. وأبدع بعضهم في رسم خرائط بديلة لبلدهم. هناك رؤى حميمة، مفعمة بالحنين

أحيانا، وغالبا ممتعة، والتي تنطلق من كل عمل فني، إلعادة صياغة رواية معاكسة لواقعهم اليومي الصعب. من خالل المشاريع القائمة على البحوث المعمقة، يتناولون موضوعات المنفى، والحبس،

أمل العودة، وتجزئة األراضي، واالنتظار، والغياب، الحدود والروابط والسياسة واالنتماء. هؤالء الفنانين يعيدون تفسير الفكرة المتكررة المعتادة في تاريخ الفن التشكيلي الفلسطيني بطرق فردية جدا ومبتكرة وممتعة، مساهمين بالتالي في تنشيط الذاكرة الثقافية الفلسطينية. معرض فلسطين

مؤسسة القطان في رام الله – الفرسان الثالثة – مستوحاة من قصص جماعية للضحايا من األطفال الفلسطينيين الذين اضطروا إلى التضحية بحياتهم لشيء لم يسببوه، وخصوصا بين أبريل ويوليو

2014. الوسيط المستخدم غطاء نسيج من القطن مطروز بحساسية، وهو عمل يمثل هشاشية أرواح األطفال األبرياء وصراخهم الداخلي واألصوات الطالبة مساعدة مني ومنكم.

فوضىفوضى فرقة تجريبية أنشئت في فلسطين عام 2014، تتجاوز تقاليد األداء الموسيقي. مزيج فريد

من الشعر الصم، والعود اإللكتروني، واإلنتاج المباشر. فوضى يجلب للحياة الفوضى الحيوية للحياة اليومية والمستقبل والخيال في فلسطين.

عايد فاضل هو القوة الطربية الناطقة من خالل مزيج من العربية الفصحى واللهجة الفلسطينية، يرافقه غسان بيرومي على العود االلكتروني وناصر هلهلة على المازج. فوضى يأخذ المشاهدين

في رحلة من السكون إلى الحركة، من الدموع إلى الضحك، تجربة مربكة بشكل غريب وملهمة بوحشية.

يقول الكاتب عالء حليحل: »فوضى عمل فلسطيني بوست-تراوماتي بجدارة، وهذا ما يجعل منه عمال كونيا ليس فلسطينيا. لقد تحرر طاقم فوضى من أبجديات التراوما الفلسطينية، والشكل »الذي

ينبغي« أن نكتب فيه ونحيا وفيه ونلحن فيه.«

سكاي ووكرسما عبد الهادي )سكاي ووكر( هي أول امرأة DJ فلسطينية ومنتجة موسيقى إلكترونية. بدأت رحلتها في عام 2006 في أنحاء رام الله وبدأت في إنتاج موسيقتها الخاصة وتوسيع اهتمامها في التأليف

عام 2010، مع التركيز على الموسيقى االلكترونية، وبشكل أكثر تحديدا التكنو والهاوس وغيرها من األنواع الفرعية العميقة، مع تطور فريد من نوعه.

بعد الحصول على بكالوريوس في هندسة الصوت واإلنتاج الموسيقى من SAE لندن، أصدرت ألبومين »نمط الحياة« و«كوانتوم مورفوسيس« وهما متواجدان على اي تيونز وجميع المنصات

6.30 pm • Masterclass with Vera Tamari, in discussion with Yazid Anani (architect, researcher and Art director at Qattan Foundation)The Festival wanted to pay a tribute to the great “woman of Culture”, Vera Tamari, who participated deeply in the development of the artistic scene in Palestine. Born in Jerusalem, Vera Tamari is a visual artist, Islamic art historian, art educator and curator. She received her undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from Beirut College for Women in 1966. She specialized in ceramics at the Istituto Statale d’Arte per la Ceramica in Florence, Italy in 1974 and obtained an M. Phil. Degree in Islamic Art and Architecture from the University of Oxford in 1984. She served for more than two decades as professor of Islamic Art and Architecture and Art History at Birzeit University, where she also founded and directed the Virtual Gallery and the Birzeit University Museum between 2005 and 2010. There she conceived the Cities Exhibition series, curating and co-curating three of its editions (2009-2012). Tamari is actively involved in the promotion of art and culture in Palestine and serves as advisor and member to numerous institutions and cultural boards namely for Riwaq and is a member of the Academic Committee at the International Art Academy Palestine. She served as jury member for YAYA (Young Artists Award organized by the Abdel Muhsin Qattan Foundation) and AFAC (Arab Foundation for Art and Culture).

As an artist she specialized in ceramic sculpture and conceptual art and has exhibited widely since 1974 in Palestine, the Arab World, Europe, the UK, Japan and the USA.

Yazid Anani born in 1975, Ramallah, is currently the Director of the Public Programme at the A. M. Qattan Foundation. He worked 1997 – 2016 as an assistant professor at the Department of Architecture and the Master Program in Urban Planning and Landscape – Birzeit University, Palestine. Yazid Anani chaired the Academic Council of the International Art Academy Palestine 2010 – 2012. He is part of several collectives, and projects such as ‘DAAR & ‘Ramallah Syndrome’ and has curated and co-curated several projects such as ‘Urban Cafés’, ‘Digital Myth of Palestinian Flora’, ‘Here, in 66’, ‘Outside the Archive’, ‘If I were a Patriot?’, and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th and 5th editions of Cities Exhibition and took part in several art projects. Anani lectured and published internationally on issues of architecture and urban transformations, colonial spaces and power relations, public art and public spaces and art education.

8.30 pm • Concert of the laureates of the 2016 Palest’In & Out Award in music, Saied Silbak (oud) and Akram Haddad (piano) with Mohamed Najem (clarinet) and Maa`en Al Ghoul (percussion).

“Wbaa’den?!”, a concert created by Saied Silbak and Akram Haddad.The concert consists in instrumental musical pieces that were composed collaboratively by the two musicians. Through this one-hour concert Haddad and Silbak courageously bring to the surface social and cultural dilemmas found deep in the heart of the Palestinian society by diving into short on-stage dialogues triggered by the names of the musical pieces performed during the concert. They are accompanied on stage by the clarinetist Mohamed Najem and Maa`en Al Ghoul (percussion).

Saied Silbak is a composer and oud player from Palestine whose music has been performed around the world at festivals and concert series in Palestine, the UK, Belgium, France and Argentina. He graduated from the University of Haifa with a degree in Psychology and Music and went on to receive his MA from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. In recent years he has worked with many artists on interdisciplinary projects as well as been involved in educational and community work developing a politically and socially engaged practice.

Akram Haddad is a Palestinian Composer and Pianist, 1986, who studied at Haifa university and Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, has Bachelor and Master Degree in music composition (M.mus), composed and orchestrated music for Orchestra, chamber ensembles, Electronic and Psychoacoustics, Choirs, music for Theatre Plays and short movies. As a composer he tries to mix and fit different styles from different cultures, pulsing with earthy rhythms, tonal and a-tonal harmonies, sound colouring and atmosphere, containing an emotional core of striking intimacy and sensitivity.

Mohammed Najem represents musician’s new generation highly qualified in the Middle East. Open to the world, he uses classic techniques and Arabic interpretation to create an original sound and style on his clarinet. His compositions reflects an eclectic combination of rhythms and melodies

أراد المهرجان تكريم امرأة ثقافة كبيرة هي فيرا تماري التي شاركت بقوة في تطوير الساحة الفنية في فلسطين. من مواليد القدس، فيرا تماري فنانة تشكيلية، ومؤرخة في الفن اإلسالمي، ومدرسة فن

وأمينة متحف. حصلت على شهادة الفنون الجميلة من كلية بيروت للنساء في عام 1966. تخصصت في السيراميك في معهد ستاتالي د آرتي بار ال سيراميكا في فلورنسا )إيطاليا( في عام 1974 وحصلت على ماستر في الفلسفة. في الفن والعمارة اإلسالمية من جامعة أكسفورد في عام 1984. عملت ألكثر من عقدين كأستاذة فن وعمارة إسالمية وتاريخ الفن في جامعة بيرزيت، حيث

أسست وادارت المعرض الظاهري ومتحف جامعة بيرزيت بين 2005 و2010. تخصصت كفنانة في النحت والسيراميك والفن المفاهيمي، وعرضت على نطاق واسع منذ عام 1974 في فلسطين

والعالم العربي وأوروبا والمملكة المتحدة واليابان والواليات المتحدة األمريكية.

ولد يزيد عناني ولد عام 1975 في رام الله، ويعمل حاليا كمدير للبرنامج العام في مؤسسة القطان. عمل بين 1997 و2016 كأستاذ مساعد في قسم الهندسة المعمارية وبرنامج الماجستير في التخطيط

الحضري والمناظر الطبيعية لجامعة بيرزيت. ترأس يزيد عناني المجلس األكاديمي ألكاديمية الفنون الدولية، فلسطين 2010-2012. وهو جزء من عدة تجمعات ومشاريع مثل دار ومتالزمة أعراض رام

»وبعدين؟!« حفل من إنشاء سعيد سلبق وأكرم حدادالحفل عبارة عن مقطوعات عزف مؤلفة بالتعاون بين الموسيقيين. من خالل هذا الحفل الذي يدوم

ساعة، يجلب حداد وسلبق بشجاعة الى السطح المعضالت االجتماعية والثقافية التي توجد في عمق قلب المجتمع الفلسطيني من خالل الغوص في حوارات قصيرة وقطع موسيقية منجزة خالل الحفل.

سعيد سلبق ملحن وعازف عود من فلسطين جالت اعماله في جميع أنحاء العالم، في العديد من المهرجانات والحفالت الموسيقية في فلسطين والمملكة المتحدة وبلجيكا وفرنسا واألرجنتين. تخرج

من جامعة حيفا بشهادة بكالوريوس في علم النفس والموسيقى، وتلقى شهادة الماجستير من كلية غيلدهول للموسيقى والدراما في لندن. في السنوات األخيرة، عمل مع العديد من الفنانين على

مشاريع متعددة التخصصات وشارك في العمل التربوي مطورا الممارسة السياسية واالجتماعية في المجتمع.

أكرم حداد ملحن فلسطيني وعازف بيانو، مولود عام 1986. درس في جامعة حيفا وأكاديمية القدس للموسيقى والرقص، حامل لبكالوريوس ودرجة ماجستير في التأليف الموسيقي. ألف موسيقى

لألوركسترا وفرق التلحين والموسيقى االلكترونية وعلم النفس السمعي وجوقات الموسيقى المسرحية واألفالم القصيرة. يحاول كملحن مزج وتنسيق األنماط المختلفة من الثقافات المختلفة

في إيقاعات متساوية، وهارمونيات مالئمة وموائمة، وأنغام ملونة وهوائية، في جو عاطفي يتحلى بمستوى عال من الحميمة والحساسية.

يمثل محمد نجم جيل الموسيقى الجديد ذات التأهيل العالي في الشرق األوسط. فنان مفتوح على العالم يستخدم التقنيات الموسيقية الكالسيكية واألداءات العربية للعودة بآلة الكالرينيت إلى أصالة

الصوت ودقة األسلوب. تعكس مؤلفاته مزيًجا انتقائًيا من اإليقاعات واأللحان.

After a presentation on the concept and the key-achievements obtained, the discussion will focus on the following issues: the added value of Palest’In & Out; the prerequisites for a sustainable action; the engagement of actual and future partners for 2017-2019 and a tentative schedule for a joint action plan in the preparation of the next edition of the Festival in 2018.

Further to this meeting, the Palest’In & Out’s Steering Committee will be announced along with the Palest’In & Out Artistic Committee.

The great Zakaria Mohammed in recital with the young generation represented by Jumana Mustafa and Mohamed Al-Dirawi in dialogue with the outstanding clarinetist Mohamed Najem. The poetic Interludes of Palestine designed by its Artistic director Anas Alaili is an annual poetry event which fourth edition finally reaches Ramallah. Interludes is a tri-dimensional event, melting poetry, music and visual arts which is beautifully represented this year by the artworks of Hani Zurob.

مع فلسطين الداخل والخارجباإلضافة إلى النقاش األول الذي نظم في باريس خالل نشرة يوليو 2016 من المهرجان، يتم

االجتماع بمشاركة الشركاء الرئيسيين لفلسطين الداخل والخارج منذ عام 2015. بعد عرض المفهوم واإلنجازات الرئيسية، يرتكز النقاش على المسائل التالية: القيمة المضافة لفلسطين الداخل والخارج،

الشروط األساسية للعمل المستدام، إشراك الشركاء الفعليين والمستقبليين في 2019-2017، اقتراح جدول زمني لخطة عمل مشتركة إلعداد النشرة القادمة من المهرجان في عام 2018.

عقب هذا االجتماع، يتم اإلعالن عن لجنة التوجيه جنبا إلى جنب مع اللجنة الفنية لفلسطين الداخل والخارج.

7.00 pm  • Conversation with Hiam Abbass, an artist talk in discussion with George Khleifi Producer, director and researcher

The festival is paying tribute to an exceptional woman, Hiam Abbass, Palestinian actress and film director based in Paris. She will tell the audience about her professional and personal experiences on stage as an artist and as a witness of her time. Through the screening of video extracts (films, archives, interviews), she looks back on the significant moments of her life and her cinematographic career.

Her career resembles her : generous, committed and at the crossroads of several cultures. She works with the most famous directors in the middle east, from Michel Khleifi to Yousry Nasrallah, french directors as Patrice Chéreau and Jean Becker but also with american filmmakers as Steven Spielberg, Jim Jarmusch or Julian Schnabel. She leads an international carrier, taking her to Europe, the Middle East and the United States. In the little village of Deir Hanna, in Galilee, where she was born there was no cinema nor theater. She first took interest in books, as her parents were teachers. Her and her 9 brothers and sisters all finished school. At 9 Hiam acts for the first time, in a theater play at school : this was the revelation. She keeps on acting in high school, but in order to her to study drama she had to go to an Israeli university and act in Hebrew, which she refused. As Arabic was her maternal language and opportunities to act in Arabic on stage were few, she decided to study photography in Haifa. Through photography, she ended up integrating the palestinian theatre company El Hakawati in Jerusalem, in the early 1980’s. A romantic encounter led her to move to paris in 1990, where she had to start all over again : learn a new language, make a name for herself. She learned the Algerian dialect to play an algerian militant in “Living in Paradise” (Bourlem Guerdjou), and learned the Tunisian dialect to play a Tunisian belly dancer in “Satin Rouge” (Raja Amari), which was her first breakthrough. In 2007, she earned the attention of American audiences with her role as the devoted mother of a soon-to-be deported Syrian immigrant in Thomas McCarthy’s Indie drama “The Visitor”. That next year, she drew notice in the Middle-East with her performance in “Lemon Tree,” portraying a strong-willed Palestinian woman who refuses to let her government destroy her lemon orchard. Polyglot and passionate, she keeps on touring the world on cinema sets, from Nazareth to New York, Beyrouth, Tunis or Paris. She won an Asia Pacific Screen Award for her work.

George Khleifi is a producer, director and researcher. Born in Nazareth, he moved to Brussels to study Film and Television direction and production at the cinema school “INSAS” for four years.

From 1978 to 1984, he directs documentaries for the Belgian TV “RTBF” and assists Michel Khleifi in producing and directing his first long documentary “The Fertile Memories”. In 1985 he returns to Jerusalem and works as the executive producer of Michel’s first feature “Wedding in Galilee” . He then directs and produces several medium and short documentaries, specializing in film about and for children. He worked as a Line Producer for Michel Khleifi’s docu- drama “Canticle of the Stones” (in 1989) , Michel Khleifi’s feature “The Tale of the 3 Jewels” (in 1994) , “Share’ Sumsum” The Palestinian Sesame Street (in 1996) and “Pomegranate and myrrh” a feature film by Najwa Najjar (in 2007).

He has also written and directed series : in 1999 he writes and directs the social development sitcom series” The House of Abu Yousef” designated to the whole family ( 70 episodes) and in 2008 he writes and directs the mini series “ Matabb”.

From 1999 to 2007 he is the Deputy director of the Institute of Modern Media at Al Quds university, and director of Al Quds Educational TV . In 2004 he publishes his book “Landscape In Mist: Space and Historical Memory in Palestinian Cinema“(with prof. Nurit Gerts). Since 2004 until today he has published 11 essays and articles, in the international professional press about Palestinian cinema. In 2008 the Edinburgh University publishes his book “Palestinian Cinema: Landscape, Trauma and Memory”.

Opening act : Screening of the short film “Paper Boat” (15 min, 2016), by the laureates of the Palest’In&Out Award 2016, Mahmoud Abu Ghalwa and Amer Nasser (Gaza), writen by Mahmoud Abusal. Synopsis : a dramatic and touching film intermingling diverse cinematographic styles and a philosophical dimension in the context of the last military offensive on Gaza in 2014. “This film is as aesthetic as fascinating. The beauty and the sadness that emerges make this film moreover touching” Hany Abu Assad“Poetical and political at the same time, the pictures of this film are wonderful. يكرم المهرجان امرأة استثنائية، هي الممثلة الفلسطينية والمخرجة السينمائية هيام عباس، المقيمة في باريس. تنقل هيام عباس للجمهور تجربتها المهنية والشخصية على المسرح كفنانة وكشاهدة

على وقتها من خالل عرض مقتطفات فيديو )أفالم ومحفوظات ومقابالت(، تتطلع مرة أخرى على لحظات مهمة من حياتها ومسيرتها السينمائية.

حياتها المهنية تشبهها: امرأة كريمة وملتزمة وعلى مفترق الطرق بين عدة ثقافات. تعمل هيام عباس مع المخرجين األكثر شهرة في الشرق األوسط، من ميشيل خليفي إلى يسري نصر الله، والفرنسييين

كباتريس شيرو وجان بيكر، واألمريكيين مثل ستيفن سبيلبرغ وجيم جارموش وجوليان شنابل. مسلكها المهني الدولي يأخذها إلى أوروبا والشرق األوسط والواليات المتحدة. في قرية دير حنا الصغيرة

في الجليل حيث ولدت، لم يكن هناك سينما وال مسرح، فأخذت أوال باالهتمام بالكتب. كان والداها معلمين، ولديها 9 أخوات وإخوة انهى كلهم المدرسة. في عمر 9 سنوات، صعدت على المسرح

ألول مرة في مسرحية في المدرسة، وكان ذلك وحيا. واصلت المسرح في المدرسة الثانوية، ولكن من أجل دراسة الدراما كان عليها أن تذهب إلى الجامعة اإلسرائيلية حيث العمل بالعبرية، فرفضت.

فرص العمل على المسرح بلغتها العربية كانت قليلة، فقررت دراسة التصوير الفوتوغرافي في حيفا، ثم التحقت بمؤسسة المسرح الفلسطيني الحكواتي في القدس، اوائل عام 1980. قادها

لقاء رومانسي لالنتقال إلى باريس في عام 1990، حيث كان عليها أن تبدأ من جديد: تعلم لغة جديدة وصنع اسما لنفسها. تعلمت اللهجة الجزائرية للعب دور مناضلة جزائرية في العيش في الجنة )بوعالم

غرجو(، وثم اللهجة التونسية للعب راقصة تونسية في »الحرير األحمر« لرجاء عماري، الذي شكل منعطفا في مسارها. في عام 2007، حصلت على اهتمام الجمهور األميركي بدور األم المتفانية

لمهاجر سوري سيتم ترحيله قريبا في الفيلم الدرامي الزائر، لتوماس مكارثي. العام التالي، راج اسمها في الشرق األوسط مع ادائها في شجرة الليمون الذي يصور امرأة فلسطينية قوية اإلرادة ترفض

أن تدمر حكومتها بستانها. هيام عباس فنانة متعددة اللغات وعاطفية، ال تكف عن جوبان العالم على مسارح السينما، من الناصرة إلى نيويورك وبيروت وتونس وباريس. فازت بجائزة شاشة آسيا

والمحيط الهادئ لعملها.

جورج خليفي منتج ومخرج وباحث. ولد في الناصرة وانتقل إلى بروكسل لدراسة السينما وادارة التلفزيون واإلنتاج في مدرسة انساس للسينما لمدة أربع سنوات. بين 1978 و1984، أدار أفالم

وثائقية للتلفزيون البلجيكي RTBF وساعد ميشيل خليفي في إنتاج وإخراج أول فيلم وثائقي طويل له، الذاكرة الخصبة. عاد إلى القدس عام 1985 وعمل كمنتج منفذ لفيلم ميشيل خليفي األول

الطويل عرس الجليل. أخرج وانتج العديد من األفالم الوثائقية القصيرة والمتوسطة، وباألخص افالم األطفال. عمل كمنتج الخط الدرامي لميشيل خليفي نشيد الحجر )1989( وحكاية الجواهر الثالثة

)1994( وشارع سمسم )1996( والمر والرمان )2007(، الفيلم الروائي الطويل لنجوى نجار. كتب وأخرج عدة مسلسالت: في عام 1999 كتب وأخرج المسلسل الهزلي بيت أبو يوسف المخصص لجميع

أفراد األسرة )70 حلقة(، و2008 كتب وأخرج المسلسل القصير مطب. من 1999 إلى 2007، شغل منصب نائب مدير معهد اإلعالم العصري في جامعة القدس، ومدير قناة تلفزيون القدس التربوي.

في 2004، أصدر كتابه »أرض تحت الضباب: الفضاء والذاكرة التاريخية في السينما الفلسطينية« )مع األستاذة نوريت غيرتس(. منذ 2004، أصدر نحو 11 من المقاالت والمواد في الصحافة المهنية

الدولية حول موضوع السينما الفلسطينية. وقد نشرت جامعة أدنبرة كتابه »السينما الفلسطينية: الفضاء والجرح والذاكرة«.

العرض االفتتاحي:عرض الفيلم القصير »قارب ورق« )15 دقيقة، 2016( للفائزين بجائزة فلسطين الداخل والخارج 2016، محمود أبو غلوة وعامر ناصر )غزة(. نبذة عن الفيلم: فيلم درامي يالمس األنماط السينمائية المتنوعة

والبعد الفلسفي في سياق الهجوم العسكري األخير على قطاع غزة في عام 2014.

4.00 pm • Fattoush Gallery • Artist talk with Safaa Khatib, the Photography laureate of the 2016 Palest’In & Out Award 

Safaa Khatib is a Palestinian activist and photographer. She was born in 1994 in the village of Kfar Kana in the Galilee. During her 4 years at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, where she specialized in photography, Safaa carried out various projects such as “Studio Baghdad” in which she documented people’s lives in Jerusalem neighborhoods that faced the threat of being taken over by the Israeli government. For this project, she built a fully-equipped, outdoor studio. In addition, she has documented experiences of members of the African community by following them in their daily lives, and photographed women in Jerusalem’s old city in their kitchens, an intimate space where they spend most of their time, and which reflect the social and economic aspects of their lives that shape their identities as Jerusalemites.

As part of her activism, Safaa currently works as a volunteer medical artist, photography teacher in East Jerusalem schools and reporter, focusing on Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque. She has volunteered for 4 years with the Al Jazeera news program “Al Jazeera Talk” as well as with other programs for the network’s global channel.

Palest’In & Out is paying tribute this year to the acclaimed Palestinian singer, songwriter, and oud player Kamilya Jubran. During this masterclass, she will narrate in words and in music the artistic pathway she leads and develops while creating, producing and performing the different music projects she took and takes part in.

The first part will be dedicated to the presentation itself, and the second to an open discussion and exchange with the public.

Kamilya Jubran was born in Akka, to Palestinian parents who are from a northern Palestinian village in Al-Jaleel. Elias Jubran, Kamilya’s father, an authentic instrument maker and a music teacher; was her first source of classical Arabic musical education. In Jerusalem and for twenty years, Kamilya was Sabreen’s lead song performer, and player of Oud, Qanoon, and other oriental instruments. From 1982 to 2002, Kamilya along with Sabreen represented the voice of resistance; struggle for freedom, and a deep and dynamic artistic-political process that created a new style of a modern Arabic song.

Since 2002, Kamilya toured with her first project Mahattaat, then Wameedd, besides a solo performance in several Arab and European cities.

Kamilya is creating and performing her own songs and music while roaming the in-between spaces of the world and non-commercial milieus with a number of European musicians.* Participants are required to register on instituticfp@gmail.com (Limited Capacity)

Ruba Shamshoum

Ruba Shamshoum is a Palestinian musician, born and raised in Nazareth and currently living in Dublin, Ireland. She is influenced by jazz, rock, and naturally by Middle Eastern music. She has studied jazz performance at Newpark Music Centre and has been involved in a large range of musical styles and and ensembles. She began writing her own material in 2011 and she released a few singles that generated much acclaim and were a part of top indie charts in the Middle East.

In her songs she deals with femininity, fragility, strength, reality, escapism and everything in between. Ruba’s compositions are mostly in Arabic, with jazz harmonies, and are influences from various music styles.

Ruba Shamshoum will be performing with her band which consists of international artists : Romanian cellist Aleka Potinga, Venezuelan guitar player Orlando Molina, and the Irish bass player Barry Rycraft. Joining them in this special concert; drummer/percussionist Rami Nakhleh from the Golan Heights.

Jazar Crew is a collective of artists and DJs based in Haifa, aiming to create a Palestinian Arabic alternative and independent scene through music and arts.

Skywalker (Palest’In & Out 2016 special recognition) is the first female Palestinian techno DJ. In her work she explores deep house, techno but also dubstep and experimental music.

صفاء خطيب ناشطة فلسطينية ومصورة. ولدت في عام 1994 في قرية كفركنا في الجليل. خالل سنواتها االربعة في أكاديمية بتسلئيل للفنون والتصميم حيث تخصصت في التصوير الفوتوغرافي،

اقامت مشاريع مختلفة مثل »ستوديو بغداد« التي قامت فيه بتوثيق حياة الناس في أحياء القدس التي تواجه خطر االستيالء عليها من قبل اسرائيل. النجاز هذا المشروع، قامت ببناء استوديو خارجي

مجهز تجهيزا كامال. إضافة لذلك، وثقت تجارب أعضاء الجالية اإلفريقية بمتابعتهم في حياتهم اليومية، كما صورت النساء في مدينة القدس القديمة في مطابخهن وفضاءاتهن الحميمة حيث يقضين

معظم وقتهن، والتي تعكس الجوانب االجتماعية واالقتصادية من حياتهن وهويتهن كمقدسيات. كجزء من نشاطها، تعمل صفاء خطيب حاليا كفنانة طبية متطوعة، وتدّرس التصوير في مدارس

القدس الشرقية وكمراسلة، مركزة أعمالها على القدس والمسجد األقصى. تطوعت لمدة 4 سنوات في برنامج أخبار الجزيرة توك، وكذلك ببرامج أخرى عالمية.

وتؤدي المشاريع الموسيقة المختلفة التي تشارك فيها.

الجزء األول مخصص لتقديم الفنانة، يليه مناقشة مفتوحة وتبادل مع الجمهور.

ولدت كميليا جبران في عكا من والدين فلسطينيين أصلهما من الجليل. والدها الياس جبران صانع أدوات موسيقية ومعلم موسيقى، كان المصدر األول للتربية الموسيقية العربية الكالسيكية التي

تلقنتها. في القدس ولمدة عشرين عاما، كانت كميليا جبران صوت فرقة صابرين، وعزفت العود والقانون وغيرها من اآلالت الموسيقية الشرقية. بين 1982 و2002، مثلت من داخل صابرين صوت المقاومة والنضال من أجل الحرية، وخاضت مسارا فنيا سياسيا على السواء لوضع مكنها من وضع

مسار حديث لألغنية العربية. منذ عام 2002، قامت بجولة في إطار مشروعها األول محطات، ثم وميض، إلى جانب أداءها الفردي في عدة مدن عربية وأوروبية. تؤلف كميليا جبران وتعزف موسيقاها

وتغني نصوصها متنقلة بين الساحات العالمية الشهيرة واألوساط غير التجارية، مع عدد من الموسيقيين األوروبيين المرموقين.

ربى شمشومربى شمشوم موسيقية فلسطينية ولدت ونشأت في الناصرة و تعيش حاليا في دبلن )ايرلندا(.

تأثرت بموسيقى الجاز والروك وبموسيقى الشرق األوسط بالطبع. درست أداء موسيقى الجاز في مركز نيوبارك للموسيقى وشاركت في مجموعة واسعة من األنماط الموسيقية والفرق. بدأت كتابة

مادتها الخاصة في عام 2011 واخرجت بضعة اغاني واجهت الكثير من االستحسان ونالت ترتيبا مرموقا في القوائم الموسيقية في الشرق األوسط. تتعامل في أغانيها مع األنوثة والهشاشة والقوة

الواقع والهروب من الواقع وما بين كل ذلك. اغاني ربى شمشوم معظمها باللغة العربية، مع تجانس موسيقى الجاز و تأثير من أنماط موسيقى مختلفة. هذا الحفل الخاص بأداء من فرقتها المكونة من فنانين عالميين: عازف التشيلو الروماني اليكا بوتينغا، عازف الغيتار الفنزويلي أورالندو مولينا، العب

الباس االيرلندي باري رايكرافت. ويشاركهم في اإليقاع ناقر رامي نخلة من الجوالن.

جزر كرو هو مجموعة من الفنانين والـDJ مقرها في حيفا، تهدف إلى إيجاد ساحة فنية فلسطينية عربية بديلة من خالل الموسيقى والفنون.

سكاي ووكر )التقدير الخاص 2016 من فلسطين الداخل والخارج( – هي أول امرأة DJ فلسطينية ومنتجة موسيقى إلكترونية، تركز على الموسيقى االلكترونية، وبشكل أكثر تحديدا التكنو والهاوس

وغيرها من األنواع الفرعية العميقة، مع تطور فريد من نوعه.

Safaa Khatib – 1st Prize 2016 – Studio Bagdad – A mobile studio immortalizes the image of the Jerusalem’s inhabitants, a place threatened to be seized by the Israeli army.

Mahmoud Al-Kurd – 1st Prize 2015 – We Breathe Freedom – Several pictures taken after the Israeli military aggression on Gaza in 2014. This series speaks to the world the history and the injustice which undergo the Palestinians daily life.

Alaa Ghosheh – Special recognition 2016 – Long Distance Relationship – Pictures and collages to reach, beyond the politics, new modes of esthetic expressions.

Asma Ghanem – Special recognition 2015 – Bodies with Notes – Exploration of the naked body, these pictures overtake the limits and experiment the body as much as the image.

Mirna Bamieh – Special recognition 2016 – The Peptimist – Literary and visual extrapolation from the Emile Habibi’s eponym novel.

Mohamed Khalil – Special recognition 2015 – Beghyabak (In your absence)– This video takes the spectator in a world where reality and imagination get mixed. The journey begins like a dream, a Palestinian stayed “in the land of 1948” and meets a refugee who fled his country.

Randa Maddah – Special recognition 2015 – Light Horizon – This poetic reflection on the human being gives to see the efforts of a woman to create a livable space and make it intimate in a territory molded by violence.

Dima Hourani – 1st Prize 2016 – Past Tense Continuous – It explores the way in which we recreate and relocate our memories. It explores the following questions; how can our nostalgia to the past be affected by the use of modern day technology as an attempt to keep the past present

أسماء غانم – التقدير الخاص 2015 – اجساد وعالمات – استكشاف للجسد العاري، هذه الصور تنقلب على الحدود وتجرب الجسم بقدر الصورة.

فن الفيديوميرنا بامية – التقدير الخاص 2016 – المتشائل – استكشاف أدبي وبصري لرواية إميل حبيبي

الشهيرة.

محمد خليل – التقدير الخاص 2015 – بغيابك – يأخذ هذا الفيديو المشاهد في عالم يختلط فيه الواقع والخيال. تبدأ الرحلة كما في حلم، وهو فلسطيني بقي في أرض الـ48 يلتقي الجئا هرب من بالده.

رندا مداح – التقدير الخاص 2015 – أفق خفيف – يستكشف هذا االنعكاس الشعري على اإلنسان ليرى جهود امرأة لخلق فضاء صالح للحياة وجعله حميما في منطقة مصاغة بالعنف.
