March is a really special month for us, as we celebrate Teresa Carles anniversary. This year we turn 7! The launching of Teresa Carles Barcelona marked a before and an after in my life. After many years of dedication to “El Paradís” along with my husband Ramón, seeing our children - Mar and Jordi - joining the family project and leading the opening of our first restaurant in Barcelona, made us the happiest. There’s nothing more rewarding for a mother than seeing her own values passed on her children.
Still today, my family’s main goal is working hard everyday to keep innovating and bring tasty, healthy and sustainable food closer to more and more people. We truly hope we keep growing up together. Again, thank you for your support throughout these 7 years!
Moreover, I am very happy to see that the new Teresa’s Stairway home delivery service has been well received. With our new website and app, we go further to get closer to you.

Among the suggestions of March, we want to highlight one ingredient above the others: celery. Its consumption is healthy due to its richness in micronutrients, vitamins and minerals.Its high fiber content helps to activate intestinal transit and the flavonoids help to reduce the chances of developing cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
In the kitchen, celery offers diverse and simple possibilities. If its leaves and ribs are green they are used in broths or as a condiment for various cooked dishes, when white or golden, they are tender and crunchy to consume raw, as an ideal complement to salads, and I also use them to prepare cold-pressed juices.
