According to the Golden Legend, there lived a dragon in Sillene (Lybia) that poisoned all the countryside. People had to give it two sheep everyday. When it was not enough,they had to give it their child. One day, it was the king´s daughter. Saint Geogre kill the dragon – all people converted to Christianity.
