Whilst pioneering this business formula the original Grandad Nicols team purchaseda fish and chip shop in Peel Park, Bradford for 40,000, re-selling it eleven monthslater for 95,000. They then acquired a closed down fish and chip shop in Otley,West Yorkshire for only 2,000. They applied their unique business formula andsold the shop eleven months later for 112,000.
