What is “MY PROJECT” ?
↪
I hope to collaborate with diverse media platforms to bring innovative “MY PROJECTS” and inspiring stories that are little-known outside Japan to a wider, international audience. (Also hope that can contribute for your benefit, too.)
2011 was a year to reflect on the “important things in life”, 2012 will be a year where cooperation and contribution will be key in creating an impact and making concrete changes in Japan. We are shifting from competition to co-creation. It’s only a matter of time before these changes start impacting the society’s structure and create shifts. Japan has the opportunity to be a key-player and model for the rest of the world.
I know the world is familiar with our culture like Manga etc... But not enough information about social innovation and social change from Japan is being communicated effectively to the rest of the world.
So we are working hard on establishing a community of committed translators, writers and editors and we believe that our combined passion will enable us to introduce Japan’s unique and innovative social design ideas to make differences.
Purpose of my trip
The world isn’t aware of Japan’s positive outlook?
Supporting the pioneers of today who are creating a wonderful future with “Good Ideas”.In addition to a web media “greenz.jp” and books “Social Design”, (where ideas are
shared), we host “green drinks Tokyo” (a face-to-face event where ideas intersect) and
“green school Tokyo” (a series of classes to take ideas into action.)
We believe that each "Good Idea" has the power to affect people in positive ways. With
this built-up power, we believe society will move into a positive direction.

HUBChari
A college student created HUBchari (chari is slang for bike) to turn abandoned bicycles into a business opportunity for homeless people. Ie Tsuku
Construction of a new home often disrupts the existing neighbourhood with noise, road blocks, and dust. Ie Tsuku is a project that positively disrupts this situation by creating opportunities to start a healthy relationship with the neighborhood while the house is under construction. Activities such as nail art classes are hosted by future residents and posted on a notice board on the construction site.
