1. Adaptation to a New Culture

・When you encounter a new cultural norm, if you have a positive emotion and you would like to do the same ⇒ Adaptation

if you have a positive emotion toward your host but you don’t want to do or you cannot do the same ⇒ Acceptance

if you have a negative emotion to the host and also to yourself who have to do the same ⇒ Enforced Adaptation

1.異文化適応• 母国の文化規範とは異なる文化規範を体験したときに、肯定的な

感情を持って自分もやってみようと思う状態⇒適応

• 母国の文化規範とは異なる文化規範を体験したときに、相手がやることには肯定的な感情を持つが、自分はやらないもしくはできない状態⇒受容

1. Tutors: TMU students who support international students

・Tutor interview: international student, tutor and the international student advising staff

・Support you can get from your tutor-limited to support within university campus-within 16 hours per month-make a friendship with TMU students
