No outside food or beverage is permitted inside the SNIEC. Exhibitors who wish to arrange catering in their booth for staff or customers must arrange it through the local concessions (Chinese only) in the SNIEC. Once you have made arrangements, please provide SNIEC the food concession name and catering service date/time by e-mailing IAAPA at [email protected]. Any food sampling of your product is not permitted without proper approval and permitting.

Win a Best Exhibit Award For the first time, Best Exhibit Awards will be presented at IAAPA Expo Asia. Booths will be judged based on booth design, branding, staffing, and overall appeal based on three categories. There is no cost to enter, but you must apply to be eligible. Login to your eBooth, click “Required forms,” and complete the appropriate form. The deadline is 31 May.

Waiting License and Vehicle Pass for Freight Vehicles A Vehicle Pass must be obtained from SNIEC Accreditation Centre before driving any vehicles into the loading dock. Non-official contractors should present the deposit receipt from AMC, which will be distributed by AMC on-site beginning 7 June to apply for the vehicle pass. Shell Scheme Booth exhibitors need to present their Exhibitor Badge together with a stamped document from AMC, which will be given out on-site. If you have any questions about applying for the Vehicle Pass, please contact SNIEC at +86 21-28906100 or 28906103 (Monday – Friday, 9:30 – 17:30 China Standard Time).

In order to alleviate the traffic congestion caused by freight vehicles at SNIEC during move-in and -out, SNIEC has implemented the policy of a “Waiting License” for the freight vehicles under the guidance of the Pudong Commercial Committee Exhibition and the Pudong Traffic Police Detachment. To ensure the effectiveness of the Waiting Licenses, SNIEC has complied with the Shanghai New International Expo Centre Freight Vehicle Information Management System, which includes the online vehicle license management system and Shenjiang Road parking lot.

The online freight vehicles waiting management system is applicable to all exhibition freight vehicles to SNIEC. The system login channel is: WeChat public account of SNIEC (WeChat: SNIEC_SH). All freight vehicles shall enter the center in advance according to the admission batch specified by the exhibition. The applicants will need to print the Waiting License on A4-size paper and place it on the windshield to enter the parking lot in turns. A vehicle without a Waiting License will not be able to enter SNIEC. Each vehicle is required to pay RMB 20 for the license fee, which must be paid online. Payments will not be processed on site.

The online freight vehicles waiting management system will open 27 May at approximately 9:00 to apply for the move-in period Waiting License, while the move-out period will open on 28 May approximately 9:00. Please refer to the application instructions here (Chinese only). Exhibitors or Non-Official Contractors should apply for the appropriate Waiting License time slot as per the schedule here. If you have any questions about applying for the Waiting License, please contact +86 21-61515193 (Monday – Friday, 9:30 – 17:30 China Standard Time).

为缓解布、撤展期间货车车流集中涌入上海新国际博览中心造成周边道路拥堵的情况,在浦东商

委会展办、浦东交警支队的指导下,SNIEC 对货运车辆实施轮候管理。为确保轮候管理的有效性,

SNIEC 编制了《新国际博览中心货运车辆信息化管理系统》。该系统由网上货车车证管理系统、申

江路轮候停车场组成。

网上货车车证管理系统适用于所有至上海新国际博览中心的展会货运车辆。系统登录渠道为:上

海新国际博览中心微信公众号 (微信号:SNIEC_SH)。所有进场货运车辆应当按各展会指定的入场批

Exhibitor Registration is Open! Complimentary exhibitor staff badges are provided for exhibitors and their staff working in exhibitor booths during the exhibition days. For security, exhibitors and booth personnel must wear their badges at all times while in the exhibition hall.

Exhibiting companies are allotted five (5) staff badges for the first 9 net square meters of exhibit space and two (2) staff badges for each increment of 9 net square meters of exhibit space up to a maximum of 50 complimentary exhibitor badges. See the chart here for details. Additional staff badges are available at the cost of US$50 per badge.

Guidelines: • Registration includes complimentary access to the expo. IAAPA exhibitor members also have

complimentary access to the education conference.

• Exhibitors may purchase tickets to special events including the IAAPA Safety Institute, Opening Reception, and Leadership Breakfast during the registration process. Members save 25 percent off the non-member ticketed event prices and have access to EDUTour tickets. Ticketed events require pre-registration and space is limited. You are permitted (and encouraged) to purchase tickets for you and your customers to these special events early. Please do not wait until your arrival on site to purchase tickets, as they often sell out.

• Children under the age of 18 are NOT permitted on the trade show floor during move-in and move-out and should not be registered with exhibitor badges.

• Do not register buyers or any other non-exhibitors through the Exhibitor Registration site. IAAPA will charge a US$150 penalty per exhibitor staff badge used by a buyer. Use the Exhibitor Guest Program to register current/prospective clients to attend the expo for free. See below for more information on this benefit extended to exhibitors.

Instructions: 1. Go to the Exhibitor Registration site: https://regs.huiyibaba.cn/iaapa/exhibitor/index.html 2. Enter a few letters of your company/”exhibiting as” name and click the “Search” button. 3. Locate your company name, click the “Confirm” button, then click “Next.” 4. Use your IAAPA Company ID as your password. 5. Once logged in click the “Register Personnel” button. 6. Once you complete a registration, you can come back to this screen to edit or delete a staff

person. You can also click the “Edit” button if you need another copy of the confirmation or visa invitation letter (if completed).

7. You can make changes to your booth staff and register additional staff online until midnight 5 June (ET).

8. Badges are picked up on-site; details are included in the confirmation.

Get Started Now!

Invite Your Customers to Attend IAAPA Expo Asia for FREE! Use the Exhibitor Guest Program to ensure your customers and prospects can attend the show—as your guests—for free. This is an excellent way for you to provide a personalized benefit to customers, increase your visibility, and strengthen your relationship with clients at IAAPA Expo Asia.

Your customized Exhibitor Guest Code (see below) provides 50 complimentary registrations to the expo. The deadline to register online is 5 June. If all 50 codes have not been used by 5 June, no more than 10 may be used on site.

Instructions: Provide your code and the Exhibitor Guest Registration link to your customers. After they enter the code and it is accepted, they will follow the steps to regular member/non-member registration. The registration fee will be US$0 for access to the trade show floor for members and non-members. Upgrade options to purchase access to the IAAPA Expo Asia Education Program and purchase special event tickets will be available; members save 40 percent on these purchases. Please contact [email protected] for your exhibitor guest code.

Food and Beverage All food and beverage sampling must be approved by the building in advance. No outside food or beverage is permitted inside the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). If you wish to arrange any booth catering for your staff or customers, you may contact the food concessions in the SNIEC. Please inform IAAPA at [email protected] of any food sampling or catering arrangements for building approval.

Booth Design Guidelines - NEW Exhibit fixtures, components, and attached identification signs in shell scheme and raw space-only booths that are 3 meters wide are limited to 2.5 meters high. The only exception is for product that extends beyond the height limit from the floor, if neighboring sight lines aren’t blocked. Variances are reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis. Please submit the proposed layout online through the Booth Layout form by 26 April. Please review the Important Show Information for all the height guidelines.

Thank you for contracting to exhibit at IAAPA Expo Asia 2019! IAAPA has a new look and new logo. These changes (and more) are part of the IAAPA Branding Project—a three-year strategic initiative. The conferences and trade shows produced around the world are part of the sub brand, IAAPA Expos, complete with updated names and a consistent look and feel. Please note Asian Attractions Expo is now IAAPA Expo Asia, and it remains IAAPA’s exclusive Expo in the Asia-Pacific region.

We look forward to making your exhibiting experience the best it can be. To ensure you do not miss any important information, updates, or reminders related to exhibiting at the show, you will receive e-mail bulletins every three or four weeks with all the details you need to know. If someone else on your team should be receiving these, please let us know. Enjoy the first issue!

Exhibitor Services Guide – AVAILABLE NOW! The exhibitor order forms and information for IAAPA Expo Asia 2019 are posted online at www.IAAPA.org/AsiaServicesGuide. This page contains all you will need to exhibit at the show. Here are links to some key documents:

• Important Show Information including location, show colors, details about booth design submission requirements, height restrictions, and overall key information relevant to all exhibitors.

• Exhibitor Schedule including move-in and move-out details

• Deadlines for submitting required information and ordering equipment you will need on site

• Shipping customs information and on-site handling request form

• Show Rules including potential fees, and loss of seniority points should you not abide by them

• Specific information for Shell Scheme exhibitors and Raw Space/Modified Shell Scheme exhibitors

• Order forms from vendors including carpet, electrical, furniture, and more.

All exhibitors—regardless of booth type, size, or products exhibited—are required to provide several items in advance to IAAPA. Those include the following:

• Exhibitor Listing for online and printed Show Program (due 16 April)

• Insurance Certificate (due 19 April)

• Booth Design/Layout (due 26 April)

• Audience Participation Safety Form (due 4 May)

These items can all be submitted in one location! Follow these easy steps: 1. Log in to your online booth at www.IAAPA.org/AsiaProfile. 2. Click “Edit Booth Info” to update your exhibitor listing. 3. Click “Exhibitor Required Documents” and then click the link for the required and optional forms.

If you have trouble locating any information or have any questions, please refer to the Contact Information document for the appropriate person to assist you.

Warning: Non-Official Vendors and Scams Be aware that many companies inappropriately represent themselves as official vendors for IAAPA, especially offering services such as hotel rooms, audio-visual services, furniture, mailing lists, show guides, etc. in conjunction with an IAAPA trade show. It is always best to check the show’s Official Vendor list before responding to their solicitation to determine if they are IAAPA-approved.

In addition, over the past few years, more and more companies have been fraudulently claiming to sell “IAAPA Attendee Lists.” These lists are not lists from IAAPA events—IAAPA does not sell or release attendee contact information from any event. For your own protection, you should refrain from conducting business with these rogue companies. For more information click here.

Exhibitor Awards Comes to IAAPA Expo Asia! For the first time, there will be the Best Exhibit Awards at IAAPA Expo Asia. Booths will be judged based on booth design, branding, staffing, and overall appeal based on three categories. There are many benefits including being recognized at the Leadership Breakfast, Thursday, 13 June. There is no cost to enter, but you must apply to be eligible. Login to your eBooth, click “Required forms”, and complete the appropriate form. The deadline is 31 May 2019.

Final Booth Payment Deadline The final booth payment is due 1 March. Payment can be submitted via wire transfer, credit card, or U.S. check. Invoices were mailed via regular post in early February; however, if you require an invoice, please send an e-mail to [email protected]. Pay right away to avoid losing your reservation. Exhibit booths must fully pay to receive their Exhibitor Guest invitations, which will be available in March. To receive the member rate, ensure your IAAPA 2019 membership dues have been remitted. The booth rate will revert to the higher rate unless the dues are paid immediately. To request a membership invoice, contact the IAAPA membership team in region: North America, Asia Pacific, Latin America or Europe, Middle East & Africa.

Exhibitor and Guest Registration Opening Soon Exhibitor registration will open by early March for your on-site staff attending IAAPA Expo Asia and by the end of March for the Exhibitor Guest Program for your guests and prospects. Watch your e-mail or check out the Exhibitor Services Guide for the live links to be posted.

Advertise for Exposure That Outshines the Competition The IAAPA Expo Asia Show Program is the official guide for IAAPA Expo Asia 2019. This on-site business resource will be available to all attendees at registration. Advertise alongside important show information including event and program schedules and exhibitor listings. Generate maximum publicity that leads foot traffic to your booth and attracts buyers. Ad deadline: 14 March 2019.

FUNWORLD’s “Trends in the Asia-Pacific Region” June edition is the official magazine for IAAPA Expo Asia 2019.
