我雖然不是在地人，但也有被罷工影響到！像上次地鐵罷工我就必須改搭其他交通工具，花更多錢！感覺很不方便又很煩。

Don’t tube drivers already get paid £50k?

An average tube driver’s salary is £49,673. However. the strike is not about pay, but working patterns for staff who already work unsocial hours. In any case, most of the staff on strike are not tube drivers. (Source: The Guardian)

Why can’t TfL, the Mayor’s Office and the unions agree?London Underground submitted a proposal to the unions, which on the face of it appears reasonable – saying no employee will be forced to work longer hours, staff will be able to swap night shifts between themselves, and all will be able to refuse night shifts after a trial period.

記得電影「濃情巧克力」（Chocolat）， Juliette Binoche飾演的女主角 Vianne 在民風保守的法國小鎮上開了家巧克力店，透過不同口味的巧克力征服了人們的味蕾、解讀內心深處的秘密。在倫敦也有一位巧克力藝術大師 Paul A Young，運用他的巧手和創意，呈現出巧克力最豐富多變的面貌。

Paul A Young 來自英國約克郡，畢業於飯店餐飲管理科系，原本是甜點師傅，曾幫 Marks & Spencer 和 Sainsbury's 等大型超市研發產品，也是活躍螢光幕前的電視名廚。2006年 Paul 開始在倫敦創立自己的巧克力專賣店品牌，以其特有的巧克力美學和對品質的堅持迅速打響名號，如今在倫敦已經有四個店點。由於 Paul 善於運用各種原料創造出獨特的巧克力口味，被稱為「口味的煉金師」（flavor

alchemist）。

When it comes to comfort food, chocolate tops the list for many people. You may think you know it, but if you are in London and have not tried chocolate made by Paul A Young, then there is a whole new world for you to explore!

Paul first worked as a pastry chef. He then moved on to developing products for big names such as Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury's. Today, he is one of the most inspirational chocolatiers in the world and has four fine chocolate shops in London.

Paul is also known to be creative and experimental with his chocolate making. He creates unusual and amazing combinations of chocolate mixed with other ingredients and tastes—spiced pumpkin, Pimms, black pudding, just to name a few. To celebrate the London Afternoon Tea Week in August, you can also find flavours such as coffee and cake, scone, jam and clotted cream, and Yorkshire tea in his shops.

Now, not only can you buy chocolate in the Paul A Young stores, but also learn how to make them! Apart from chocolate making workshops, there are also chocolate tasting evenings, brownie baking classes and more. 實際走訪位於 Soho 的 Paul A Young 旗艦店，映入眼簾的高貴優雅紫色調和撲鼻而來的濃郁巧克力香，有種步入精品藝廊的錯覺，一盤盤巧克力從配色到造型都精緻得像藝術品般令人愛不釋手。但如果你認為 Paul 的巧克力是中看不中吃，那可就大錯特錯了！ Paul 對於製作過程要求十分嚴謹，所有成品都是純手工少量製作，堅持只用最好的原料，包括新鮮香料、有機蒸餾萃取精油、熟成水果等，不添加任何香精、防腐劑或濃縮物。

When visiting the Wardour Street flagship store in Soho, I was amazed to find that it felt like a little boutique shop—only that it also smelled of rich fine chocolate! 位於 Shoreditch 附近，走路就能到的 Monster Supplies，是一間專門承辦優良食品給怪獸們的店舖。根據老闆娘所說，這間專賣店開張於 1818 年，但一直到 2010 年才開放給人類，也就是說，店鋪裡面的人有可能是怪獸、也有可能是人類，是不是很有趣呢 ! 大部分的客人都具有百年以上的光顧歷史，不管客人是吸血鬼、狼人，還是北美好野人，所有想要的食品與生活用品，除了實體商店，幾乎也可以透過網路商城訂購，原來怪獸的世界也是很現代化的 !

Monster Supplies is a sweet shop especially catering for the everyday needs of monsters on this planet. Its location is within the walking distance from Shoreditch. According to the shopkeeper, Monster Suppliers was opened in 1818, but not until 2010 did it become available to human beings. So you’ll never know the exact identity of everyone in the shop. Isn’t it very exciting?

No matter you are a vampire, werewolf, or sasquatch, the shop is able to meet every of your special needs through either in-store shop or online shop. Monster’ world also keeps up with times!

Once you get through the door, you suddenly realize how far-reaching and unique this sweet shop is.

At Monster Supplies, you could see a board where monsters are used to posting adverts to look for potential flat mates, missing brains, or someone's fallen eyeball. There is even a monster VIP list showing those regular customers' name hanging behind the front desk. What's more! If accidentally be died, a monster could also get a death certificate here. [ 創店小故事 Story behind the Monster Supplies]

Monster Supplies 的背後是一間為當地小孩設立的書寫工作室，讓孩子們發揮想像力、培養書寫以及說故事的能力。恐懼罐頭裡面的故事都是由這些小孩子寫出來的，店鋪的收入也部分回饋回給工作室，小編自己就深受吸引買了一罐聽說是最可怕的成人恐懼罐頭 (Mortal Terror)。 此 外，Monster Supplies也一直在招募帶領書寫工作坊、以及糖果店店員的志工，如果想一窺、或加入怪獸的世界，不妨過去走走，說不定還能巧遇來自世界各地的明星怪獸喔 !

Behind the Monster Supplies, it is a creative writing centre called the Ministry of Stories. This organization aims to stir local children’s imagination and build their confidence through storytelling.

All of the stories in Tinned Fear were written by those creative young children. Part of the income of the sweet shop also goes back to the Ministry of Stories. Furthermore, Monster Suppl ies i s cont inual ly recruit ing fearless volunteers to support the in-store running and w r i t i n g w o r k s h o p s . 河岸留言於 2015 年 6 月再度帶領台灣三組音樂人：魏如萱、激膚樂團、DJ Code 前往英國參加世界最大音樂節盛事「Glastonbury」，並在倫敦知名 Live House 「Barfly」舉辦台灣之夜，把台灣的音樂帶來英國。Bubble Tea Magazine 有幸成為是次音樂會的媒體伙伴，不但可以親身欣賞各音樂人的精彩表現，也有機會跑到後台把他們化身美食糾察隊，嘗嘗英國

一年一度的草地音樂節 Glastonbury Music Festival於六月底盛大上演，在眾多國際新銳樂團間，這是第二年有台灣的樂團和歌手得到主辦單位青睞，獲邀演出，分別是魏如萱、激膚樂團、DJ Code 與其 Vocal 少詩。Glastonbury 是目前世界最大的露天音樂節，每年在英國西南邊 Pilton 小鎮附近隆重登場，至今已經邁入 45 個年頭，除了音樂以外，也有戲劇、舞蹈、馬戲、藝術等其他眾多表演藝術，是每個音樂愛好者和 Party 愛好者不可錯過的重頭戲。

6/23 晚間，在倫敦東北邊的 The Barfly 特別舉辦了一場台灣之夜，魏如萱、激膚樂團、DJ Code 等人提前嗨翻全場，當天免費入場，原本只塞的下 200 人的場地，盛況空前，總共來了將近400 人 ! 人在異鄉，可以在英國倫敦聽到來自東方的音樂表演，實在是和吃到滷肉飯，與喝到珍珠奶茶同等的滿足和爽快呀 !

Glastonbury Music FestivalThe annually GlastonburyFestival takes place near Pilton, Somerset, Southwest England. In 2015, among those global leading pop and rock artists, it has been the second year where Taiwanese artists were invited – Waa-Wei, My Skin against Your Skin, and DJ Code & its vocal, Shao-Shih. Glastonbury is the largest greenfield festival in the world. In addition to music, the festival also hosts theatre, dance, circus, and other arts. If you are a huge music lovers or party lovers, never miss out this!

On the night of 23rd June, a Taiwanese night is held in the Barfly Camden, London, in advance. Waa-Wei, My Skin against Your Skin, DJ Code rocked London night with nearly other four hundred audiences, before they headed to the Glastonbury Festival.

Waa-Wei is a Taiwanese pop artist and radio DJ, who is extremely anticipated for her sweet and distinctive voice and style. She started her music career in 2003 as the vocal of the band, Natural Q, and began her solo career in 2007. She has released several albums so far, including the latest one, You Lovely Bastard, in 2014.

台 灣 搖 滾 樂 團，2010 年 成 團， 成 員 有 主 唱Andrea、貝斯尤世儒、鼓手陳翰。2010 發表首張單曲《Jealous Lover/ DirtyBabe》，2012 年發表《My skin against your skin》，以其性感又慵懶，迷幻與多變的風格迅速在海內外獲得高度評價。

My Skin Against Your Skin is a Taiwanese electronic music band formed in 2010. The members are consist of Andrea, lead singer, Si-Lu Yu, bass, and Han Chen, the drummer. They are famous for its sexy and laid-back music style both within Taiwan and overseas. They released their latest album, My skin against your skin, in 2012.

DJ Code 吳鎧帆，集音樂製作人、錄音師、編曲師與混音師於一身。擅長製作以帶著東方味道的電子音樂為最大特色。在《Asia River 江水》中，與主唱邱少詩合作，再次將二胡、古箏、木笛等中國樂器，與西方現代電子節奏融合，具有強烈對比的前衛感，獲得大量好評。

DJ Code is a music producer, recording and mixing engineer, specializing in fusing traditional Chinese instruments with progressive and tech house beats, revealing a strong combination between Oriental music and modern electronic music. In 2010, he released the album of Asia River, which cooperated with vocal, Shao-Shih Chiou, and made a big hit.

As the first Hello Kitty Chinese Cuisine in the world, its food quality isof great concern to customers. The restaurant thus appointed the head chef with 40 years of experience in Chinese cuisine in Hong Kong and Japan – Master Law to manage the dim sum and Chinese dish sections. Master Law, who has been Master Chef at several famous Chinese restaurants in both Hong Kong and Japan, said, “Japan’s economy soared in the 1980s, during which Japanese people had their first taste of Cantonese cuisine and fell in love with it. Cantonese restaurants thus flourished, attracting many Hong Kong chefs to develop their career and unleash their creativity in Japan. Before that, Chinese cuisine in Japan, known as Chuka Ryori, mainly used common root vegetables found in the country such as potato and radish, with thick sauces and monotonous taste. It was we, the Cantonese chefs, who introduced various vegetables to Japan. Now we hope to combine the real taste of Cantonese cuisine with quality fresh ingredients purchased at the origin to create more healthy and delicious Hello Kitty traditional Chinese dishes.”
