The Hollywood Walk of Fame com-prises more than 2,400 five-pointed terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood, California. The stars are permanent public monuments to achievement in the entertainment industry, bearing the names of a mix of actors, musicians, directors, producers, musical and theatrical groups, fictional characters, and others. The condition is that they must pay the fee of $ 25,000 for maintenance.

Serbia’s national airline has changed its name to “Air Serbia” and a new corporate logo and color scheme, as part of the largest transformation of its 86-year history. Driving the change is Etihad Airways, the national carrier of United Arab Emirates, which has secured regulatory approval to acquire 49 per cent of Air Serbia and been awarded a five year management contract. Announcing the groundbreaking deal today, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, James Hogan, said the rebrand-ing signaled the arrival of an all-new airline and exciting new opportunities for Serbia. "This is not just a change in strategy," said Mr. Hogan. "It is a package of changes so significant that the airline requires a change of identity and appearance."

Because of the warm sunlight that evenly shines and cool wind and temperature throughout the year, Wang Nam Keow has become the location for Thailand’s best wine producers and vineyards. One of them is Village Farm and Winery, a small farm and winery built from love and intention of Khun Weerawat Cholvanich. Grape plants cover 250 Rai. Most planted grapes are Shiraz imported from Israel, then Cheninblanc from southern France and Carbernet Sauvignon from Australia. Products from the farm were processed into fine wines crafted by French wine makers under the brand “Chateau Des Brumes” which means Chateau in the Mists. The continuous development results in fine wine approved by both Thai and foreign wine lovers. Hong Kong is one small island which is full of lives. When mentioning Hong Kong, many people would think of Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Sai Yeung Choi. Besides shopping venues, Hong Kong offers a top class amusement park such as Hong Kong Disneyland which opens at 10 or 10.30 am. It is easy to get to, just take the pink line Mickey Mouse subway. Hong Kong Disneyland is divided into different zones include Main Street of USA, Fantasy Land, Tomorrow Land, Adventure Land and the newest Toy Story. After passing through the front gate, you’ll see various shops with cute deco-rations. Sleeping Beauty’s castle locates at the end of the Main Street of USA. The entrance of each zone locates at the circle in front of this castle. Fantasy Land locates in this beautiful castle. Inside, you will see various Disney characters. The highlight of Fantasy Land is “The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh”. The inside is beautifully decorated and many spots for tourists to take pictures. The special “Winnie The Pooh” train will take your through the elegance performance by the cartoon characters. A bit further inside is the shop providing various souvenirs from famous cartoon characters such as Piglet, Tigger etc. Adventure Land’s highlight that I would like to recommend is sailing along the river with a beautiful guide who will take us through obstacles into Tarzan’s land. At the end of the trip you’ll find Tarzan’s tree house in the virtualized jungle. Before entering the last zone you’ll find the zone of Toy Story where giant cartoon characters such as Andy and friends are waiting. Fun activities offered there include “Toy Soldier Parachute Drop” and rollercoaster. The last zone, Tomorrow Land offers various kinds of adventurous rides and equipments, such as Space Mountain (not recommended for those who have high blood pressure and heart disease), the soul stirring rollercoaster ride in the dark tunnel. The surprise is the pictures of the riders being captured. You may find some funny pictures of you and your friends at the exit. End the fantasy trip with the impressive parade of Mickey Mouse and friends. Try to stay until the end to see the elegant firework presentation with the background of Cinderella’s castle. I recommend Hong Kong Disneyland because it’s not really far from Thailand. Impressive memories can be created here

“Our family are sea lovers, and we love travelling to the coast and the islands in Thailand. We especially love Krabi, because of its dramatic scenery, the beautiful sea, and the limestone islands. Krabi has so many island trips for us to choose from. There are two Centara resorts in Krabi, so I use this opportunity to take my family on a holiday and do some work at the same time. We are not only fond of the sea: we also like to visit Chiang Mai, especially during cold weather, which my two daughters really love.

The Most Impressive Trip “Every trip with my family is impressive, espe-cially the ones to Krabi. As for work, the most impressive trip for me has been the visit I made to Sri Lanka earlier this year. Centara had organised a visit for Sri Lankan media to the new Centara Passikudah Resort & Spa, which is located on the beautiful east coast of the island. Showing the Sri Lankan journalists around this new property and telling them about our company plans was memorable. We also visited the nearby National Park, which is known for its abundant resources and as a habitat for various species. “My dream trip is to visit the Maldives, because I’m an island lover. The ocean looks so beautiful, and the location offers true relaxation. We also have two Centara resorts in the Maldives, so possibly my dream trip will happen soon.”

Perspective towards Tourism Business The tourism industry in Thailand still has a lot of potential to grow. In the first quarter of 2013, not only has Centara Hotels & Resorts done better compared to the same quarter last year, but the industry has grown larger as well. TAT does a great job in promoting Thailand, but it would be even better if Thailand could add big and interesting attractions like Disneyland and Universal Studios. These would be new hot spots to attract a large market in the region and even more tourists to Thailand.
