ACADEMIC



Architecture is the mirror which shows all of the culture of the age. Namely, it is a heritage that shows dire

ctly a social phenomenon of the age.

In Korea, sociodemographic character is changing rapidly and the changes in the structure of households, a

standard unit of housing requirements, are various. The most typical change is continuous increasing of sin

gle to three members households. As a result, I considered occupant with small households and planned th

e dwelling pattern fitted at housing requirements in the future.

Also, unlike in the past showing family-oriented self-sufficiency form and having limited neighboring link, by living in compact lifestyle meeting new people only a few step, personal based society is built. I propose

d the opportunity that recover the fellowship, cohesion and community spirit inducing the minimum neigh

borly interaction demanding condignly the network with changed present character and past character.

Mechanical element that using by re-interpreting the neighborly communication in modern society. Fence

is the one of most important thing in distinguishing the outer domain. In other words, fence encloses or su
