DESCRIPTION

Month of September, as I remember "martial law" in the Philippines on September 21, 1972, and then the shocking 9-11 (or September 11 bombing of World Trade Center in New York, USA) which became the excuse of US to invade Iraq and Afghanistan, I have days of sleepless nights thinking about peace. From that, I composed this song entitled "Kapayapaan" (Peace).

Peace Entrada: Let’s shout for Peace In the whole country, stop the violence Let’s shout for Peace In the whole world, stop the violence Refrain: Peace, Peace, Peace But what does it mean By genuine peace? Verse 1: Is simple silence A genuine peace Even if people can’t speak In violence, they’re scared Verse 2: (Repeat the first 2 lines of verse 1) Even if people are boiling In hunger and anger?
