SAFETY INFORMATIONBefore the installation and use of the appliance, carefully read thesupplied instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible if anincorrect installation and use causes injuries and damages.Always keep the instructions with the appliance for futurereference.

CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE PEOPLE SAFETY• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and

above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mentalcapabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they havebeen given supervision or instruction concerning use of theappliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

• Do not let children play with the appliance.• Keep all packaging away from children.• Keep all detergents away from children.• Keep children and pets away from the appliance door when it is

open.• If the appliance has a child safety device, we recommend you

activate it.• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children

without supervision.

GENERAL SAFETY• Do not change the specification of this appliance.• Obey the maximum load volume of 7 kg (refer to the

“Programme chart” chapter).• The operating water pressure (minimum and maximum) must be

between 0,5 bar (0,05 MPa) and 8 bar (0,8 MPa).• The ventilation openings in the base (if applicable) must not be

obstructed by a carpet.• The appliance is to be connected to the water mains using the

new supplied hose-sets. Old hose sets must not be reused.• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer, its Authorised Service Centre or similarlyqualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• Before maintenance, deactivate the appliance and disconnectthe mains plug from the mains socket.

• Do not use water spray and steam to clean the appliance.• Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth. Only use neutral

detergents. Do not use abrasive products, abrasive cleaningpads, solvents or metal objects.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONSINSTALLATION• Remove all the packaging and the transit bolts.• Keep the transit bolts. When you move the

appliance again you must block the drum.• Always be careful when you move the appliance

because it is heavy. Always wear safety gloves.• Do not install or use a damaged appliance.• Obey the installation instruction supplied with

the appliance.• Do not install or use the appliance where the

temperature is less than 0 °C or where it isexposed to the weather.

• Make sure that the floor where you install theappliance is flat, stable, heat resistant and clean.

• Make sure that there is air circulation betweenthe appliance and the floor.

• Adjust the feet to have the necessary spacebetween the appliance and the carpet.

• Do not install the appliance where the appliancedoor can not be fully opened.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION• The appliance must be earthed.• Always use a correctly installed shockproof

socket.• Make sure that the electrical information on the

rating plate agrees with the power supply. If not,contact an electrician.

• Do not use multi-plug adapters and extensioncables.

• Make sure not to cause damage to the mainsplug and to the mains cable. Should the mainscable need to be replaced, this must be carriedout by our Authorised Service Centre.

• Connect the mains plug to the mains socketonly at the end of the installation. Make sure thatthere is access to the mains plug after theinstallation.

• Do not touch the mains cable or the mains plugwith wet hands.

• Do not pull the mains cable to disconnect theappliance. Always pull the mains plug.

• Only for UK and Ireland: The appliance has a 13amp mains plug. If it is necessary to change the

fuse in the mains plug, use a 13 amp ASTA (BS1362) fuse.

• This appliance complies with the E.E.C.Directives.

WATER CONNECTION• Make sure not to cause damage to the water

hoses.• Before you connect the appliance to new pipes

or pipes not used for a long time, let the waterflow until it is clean.

• The first time you use the appliance, make surethat there is no leakage.

USE

WARNING! Risk of injury, electricalshock, fire, burns or damage to theappliance.

• Use this appliance in a household only.• Obey the safety instructions on the detergent

packaging.• Do not put flammable products or items that are

wet with flammable products in, near or on theappliance.

• Make sure that you remove all metal objectsfrom the laundry.

• Do not put a container to collect possible waterleakage under the appliance. Contact theAuthorised Service Centre to ensure whichaccessories can be used.

• Do not touch the glass of the door while aprogramme operates. The glass can be hot.

DISPOSAL

WARNING! Risk of injury orsuffocation.

• Disconnect the appliance from the mainssupply.

• Cut off the mains cable and discard it.• Remove the door catch to prevent children and

pets to get closed in the appliance.

1) Standard programmes for the Energy Label consumption values. According to regulation1061/2010, these programmes are respectively the «Standard 60°C cotton programme» and the «Stand-ard 40°C cotton programme». They are the most efficient programmes in terms of combined energy andwater consumption for washing normally soiled cotton laundry.

The water temperature of the washing phase may differ from the temperature declared for theselected programme.

2) To reduce the creases of the laundry, this cycle regulates the water temperature and performs a softwash and spin phase. The appliance adds some rinses.3) During this cycle the drum rotates slowly to ensure a gentle washing. It can seem that the drum doesn'trotate or doesn't rotate properly. Consider this as a normal functioning of the appliance.

OPTIONS

CENTRIFUGAR With this option you can change the default spinspeed.The indicator of the set speed comes on.

AGUA EN CUBA/CUBA CHEIA • Set this option to prevent the laundry creases.• The related indicator comes on.• There is a water in the drum when the

programme is completed.• The drum turns regularly to prevent the laundry

creases.• The door stays locked. You must drain the water

to unlock the door.

To drain the water refer to ‘At the endof the programme’.

FUNC./FUNÇ. Press this button to set one of the followingoptions:The related indicator comes on.

• Prelava.

The machine performs a prewash cycle beforethe main wash phase.The washing time will be prolonged.This option is recommended for heavily soiledlaundry.

• Super Rapido Press this button to decrease the programmeduration.Set this option for items with light soil or itemsto refresh.

We recommend to reduce thelaundry loading.

ACLARADO/ENXAG.EXTRA With this option you can add some rinses to awashing programme.Use this option for persons allergic to detergentsand in areas where the water is soft.The related indicator comes on.

INICIO DIFERIDO With this option you can delay the start of aprogramme by 9, 6 or 3 hours.

BEFORE FIRST USE1. Put 2 litre of water in the detergent

compartment for washing phase.This activates the drain system.2. Put a small quantity of detergent in the

compartment for washing phase.3. Set and start a programme for cotton at the

highest temperature without laundry.

This removes all possible dirt from the drum and thetub.

DAILY USE - WASHING ONLYLOADING THE LAUNDRYOpen the water tap. Connect the mains plug to themains socket.1. Pull the door handle to open the appliance

door.2. Put the laundry in the drum, one item at a time.3. Shake the items before you put them in the

appliance.Make sure not to put too much laundry in the drum.Refer to max. loads indicated in "Programme chart".4. Close the door.

CAUTION!Make surethat nolaundry staysbetween theseal and thedoor. Thereis a risk ofwaterleakage ordamage tothe laundry.

USING DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES

1. Measure out thedetergent and thefabric conditioner.

2. Carefully close thedetergent drawer.

SETTING A PROGRAMME1. Turn the programme knob clockwise or

counterclockwise to switch the appliance onand set the programme:

The indicator of Inicio/Pausa button flashes.2. If necessary, change the spin speed or add

available options.When you activate an option, the indicator of theset option comes on.

If you turn the programme knob toanother programme when theappliance is working, the red indicatorof Inicio/Pausa button will blink toindicate a wrong selection.

STARTING A PROGRAMME WITHOUT THEDELAY STARTPress the button Inicio/Pausa.

The corresponding indicator stops to flash.The phase indicator Prelava./Lava. illuminates andstays on.The programme starts and the door locks.

The drain pump can operate for ashort time at the beginning of thewashing cycle.

STARTING A PROGRAMME WITH THE DELAYSTART OPTION1. Press the button Inicio Diferido repeatedly to

set the required delay.The indicator of the set delay comes on.2. Press the button Inicio/Pausa:

• The door is locked.• The appliance starts the countdown.• When the countdown is completed, the

programme starts automatically.

You can cancel or change the delaysetting before you press the buttonInicio/Pausa. After pressing the buttonInicio/Pausa, you can only cancel thedelay.

To cancel the delay start:a. Press the button Inicio/Pausa to set the

appliance to pause.The corresponding indicator flashes.

b. Press the button Inicio Diferido once; theindicator of the set delay goes off.Press the button Inicio/Pausa again to startthe programme immediately.

CANCELLING A RUNNING PROGRAMME

1. Turn the programme knob to position tocancel the programme and to deactivate theappliance.

2. Turn the programme knob again to activate theappliance. Now, you can set a new washingprogramme.

Before starting the new programmethe appliance could drain the water. Inthis case, make sure that the detergentis still in the detergent compartment, ifnot fill the detergent again.

INTERRUPTING A PROGRAMME ANDCHANGING THE OPTIONSYou can change only some options before theyoperate.1. Press the button Inicio/Pausa.

The indicator flashes.2. Change the options.3. Press the button Inicio/Pausa again.The programme continues.

OPENING THE DOORWhile a programme or the delay start operates, theappliance door is locked.

CAUTION! If the temperature andlevel of the water in the drum are toohigh and the drum still rotates, youcannot open the door.

To open the door during the first minutes of thecycle or when the delay start operates:1. Press the button Inicio/Pausa to pause the

appliance.2. Wait some minutes until the door unlocks.3. You can open the door.4. Close the door and touch the button Inicio/

Pausa again. The programme (or the delay)continues.

AT THE END OF THE PROGRAMME• The appliance stops automatically.• The indicator of the button Inicio/Pausa goes

off. The phase indicator Fin/Fim illuminates andstays on.

• Turn the programme knob to position todeactivate the appliance.

• After some minutes you can open the door.• Remove the laundry from the appliance. Make

sure that the drum is empty.• Close the water tap.

• Keep the door and the detergent drawer ajar, toprevent the mildew and odours.

The washing programme is completed, butthere is water in the drum:• The drum turns regularly to prevent the creases

in the laundry.

• The indicator stays on.• The indicator Inicio/Pausa flashes to remind you

to drain the water.• You must drain the water to open the door.Draining the water:1. Set a draining (Descarga) or a spinning

(Centrifugar) programme.2. Press the button Inicio/Pausa.The appliance drains the water and spins.3. When the programme is completed:

• The indicator Inicio/Pausa goes off and thephase indicator Fin/Fim illuminates.

• After some minutes the door unlocks; youcan now open the door.

4. Turn the programme knob to the position todeactivate the appliance.

STAND BYSome minutes after the end of the washingprogramme, if you do not deactivate the appliance,the energy saving status activates. The energysaving status decreases the energy consumptionwhen the appliance is on the standby:• All indicators go off.• The indicator of the button Inicio/Pausa flashes

slowly.Press one of the buttons to deactivate the energysaving status.

HINTS AND TIPSTHE LAUNDRY LOAD• Divide the laundry in: white, coloured,

synthetics, delicates and wool.• Obey the washing instructions that are on the

laundry care labels.• Do not wash together white and coloured items.• Some coloured items can discolour with the first

wash. We recommend that you wash themseparately for the first times.

• Button up pillowcases, close zippers, hooks andpoppers. Tie up belts.

• Empty the pockets and unfold the items.• Turn inside out multilayered fabrics, wool and

items with painted illustrations.• Remove hard stains.• Wash with a special detergent heavy soil stains.

• Be careful with the curtains. Remove the hooksor put the curtains in a washing bag orpillowcase.

• Do not wash in the appliance laundry withouthems or with cuts. Use a washing bag to washsmall and/or delicate items (e.g. underwiredbras, belts, tights, etc. ).

• A very small load can cause balance problemswith the spin phase. If this occurs, adjustmanually the items in the tub and start the spinphase again.

STUBBORN STAINSFor some stains, water and detergent is notsufficient.We recommend that you remove these stainsbefore you put the items in the appliance.

Special stain removers are available. Use thespecial stain remover that is applicable to the typeof stain and fabric.

DETERGENTS AND ADDITIVES• Only use detergents and additives specially

made for washing machines:– powder detergents for all types of fabric,– powder detergents for delicate fabrics (40

°C max) and woollens,– liquid detergents, preferably for low

temperature wash programmes (60 °C max)for all types of fabric, or special for woollensonly.

• Do not mix different types of detergents.• To help the environment, do not use more than

the correct quantity of detergent.• Obey the instructions that you find on the on

packaging of these products.• Use the correct products for the type and colour

of the fabric, the programme temperature andthe level of soil.

• If your appliance has not the detergentdispenser with the flap device, add the liquiddetergents with a dosing ball (supplied by thedetergent's manufacturer).

ECOLOGICAL HINTS• Set a programme without the prewash phase to

wash laundry with normal soil.• Always start a washing programme with the

maximum load of laundry.• If necessary, use a stain remover when you set a

programme with a low temperature.• To use the correct quantity of the detergent,

check the water hardness of your domesticsystem

WATER HARDNESSIf the water hardness in your area is high ormoderate, we recommend that you use a watersoftener for washing machines. In areas where thewater hardness is soft it is not necessary to use awater softener.To know the water hardness in your area, contactyour local water authority.Use the correct quantity of the water softener.Obey the instructions that you find on thepackaging of the product.

DRYING HINTSPrepare the drying cycle• Open the water tap.• Do a check if the connection of the drain hose is

correct. Refer to installation chapter for moreinformation.

• For the maximum laundry load of the dryingprogrammes, refer to the drying programmestable.

ITEMS TO DO NOT DRYDo no not set a drying programme for thislaundry:• Very delicate items.• Synthetic curtains.• Pieces of clothing with metal inserts.• Nylon stockings.• Quilts.• Bed covers.• Duvets.• Anoraks.• Sleeping bags• Fabrics with residue of hair sprays, nail solvents

or similar.• Garments with foam-rubber or materials similar

to foam-rubber.

GARMENT LABELSWhen you dry the laundry, obey the indications onthe labels of the manufacturers:

• = The item can be tumble dried

• = The drying cycle is at high temperature

• = The drying cycle is at reducedtemperature

• = The item can not be tumble dried.

DRYING CYCLE DURATIONThe drying time can change depending on:• speed of the last spin• dryness level• type of laundry• weight of the load size

ADDITIONAL DRYINGIf, at the end of the drying programme, the laundryis still damp, set a short drying cycle again.

WARNING! To avoid creases offabrics or shrinks of the clothingdo not over dry the laundry.

GENERAL TIPSRefer to the «Drying programmes» table to find theaverage drying times.The experience will help you to dry the laundry in amore correct way. Take note of the duration dryingtime of the cycles done before.

To avoid the static charge at the end of the dryingcycle:1. Use fabric conditioner in the washing cycle.2. Use special fabric conditioner for tumble

dryers.

When the drying programme is completed removethe laundry in a short time.

CARE AND CLEANING

WARNING! Refer to Safety chapters.

EXTERNAL CLEANINGClean the appliance only with soap and warmwater. Fully dry all the surfaces.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol,solvents or chemical products.

DESCALINGIf the water hardness in your area is high ormoderate, we recommend that you use a waterdescaling product for washing machines.Regularly examine the drum to prevent limescaleand rust particles.To remove rust particles use only special productsfor washing machine. Do this separately from thelaundry wash.

Always obey the instructions that youfind on the packaging of the product.

MAINTENANCE WASHWith the low temperature programmes it is possiblethat some detergent stays in the drum. Makeregularly a maintenance wash. To do this:• Remove the laundry from the drum.• Set the cotton programme with the highest

temperature with a small quantity of detergent.

DOOR SEALRegularly examine theseal and remove allobjects from the innerpart.

CLEANING THE DETERGENT DISPENSERClean regularly the washing powder and additivedispenser drawer.

• Press the catchdownwards and pull itout to remove thedrawer.

• Flush it out under atap, to remove anytraces of accumulatedpowder.

• Remove the top part ofthe additivecompartment to aidcleaning.

• Make sure that allwashing powderresidue is removedfrom the upper andlower part of therecess.

• Use a small brush toclean the recess.

• Replace the drawer and run the rinseprogramme without any clothes in the drum.

CLEANING THE DRAIN FILTERThe pump should be inspected regularly andparticularly if:• the appliance does not empty and/or spin;• the appliance makes an unusual noise during

draining phase due to objects such as safetypins, coins and so on blocking the pump;

• a problem with water draining is detected (seechapter 'Troubleshooting' for more details).

CAUTION! Switch the appliance offand remove the mains plug from thesocket.

Proceed as follows:• Unplug the appliance.

• If it is necessary, wait until the water has cooleddown.

close to the pump (A)to collect any spillage.

• Pull out theemergency emptyinghose (B), place it inthe container andremove its cap.

• When no more watercomes out, unscrewthe filter.

• Turn the filter anti-clockwise.

• Remove the filter.• Use pliers, if

necessary.• When removing the

filter, always keep arag nearby to dry upany water spillage.

• Clean the filter undera tap, to remove anytraces of fluff.

• Remove foreignbodes and fluff fromthe filter seat and fromthe pump impeller.

• Check carefullywhether the pumpimpeller rotates (itrotates jerkily).

If it doesn’t rotate, please contact your ServiceCentre.

• Put the cap back onthe emergencyemptying hose andplace the latter backin its seat.

• Replace the filter intothe pump, insert itcorrectly into thespecial guides.

• Screw the pump cover firmly. Turn it clockwise.

CAUTION! When the appliance is inuse and depending on the setprogramme there can be hot water inthe pump.

Never remove the filter during a washing cycle,always wait until the appliance has finished thecycle, and is empty.When refitting the filter, ensure it is securely re-tightened so as to stop leaks and young childrenbeing able to remove it.

CLEANING THE INLET HOSE AND THE VALVEFILTERIf the appliance doesn't fill, take long to fill withwater, the starting button blinks or the display (ifavailable) shows the relevant alarm (see chapter'Troubleshooting' for more details), check if thewater inlet filters are blocked.To clean the water inlet filters:

• Turn off the water tap.• Unscrew the hose

from the tap.• Clean the filter in the

hose with a stiff brush.

• Screw the hose back onto the tap. Make surethe connection is tight.

• Unscrew the hosefrom the machine.

• Keep a rag nearbybecause some watermay flow.

• Clean the filter in thevalve with a stiff brushor with the piece ofcloth.

• Screw the hose backto the machine andmake sure theconnection is tight.

• Turn on the water tap.

FROST PRECAUTIONSIf the appliance is installed in an area where thetemperature can be less than 0° C, remove theremaining water from the inlet hose and the drainpump.1. Disconnect the mains plug from the mains

socket.2. Close the water tap.3. Place the end of the emergency emptying hose

and that of the inlet hose in a bowl placed onthe floor and let water flow out of the hoses.

4. Set the Drain programme and let it operate untilthe end of the cycle.

5. Turn the programme knob to to disconnectthe appliance from the power supply.

6. Screw the water inlet hose back on and re-fitthe emergency emptying hose after having putthe cap on again.

WARNING! Make sure that thetemperature is more than 0 °C beforeyou use the appliance again.The manufacturer is not responsiblefor damages caused by lowtemperatures.

FROST PRECAUTIONSIf the appliance does not drain the water, proceedas follows:1. Disconnect the mains plug from the mains

socket.2. Close the water tap.3. if necessary, wait until the water has cooled

down.4. Place a bowl on the floor and put the end of

the emergency emptying hose into the bowl.Remove its cap.

The water should drain by gravity into the bowl.5. When the bowl is full, put the cap back on the

emergency hose.6. Empty the bowl. Repeat the procedure until

water stops flowing out.7. Clean the pump if necessary as previously

INTRODUCTIONThe start of the appliance does not occur or itstops during operation.First try to find a solution to the problem (refer tothe table). • Prelava./Lava. - The appliance does not fill withwater properly.

You cannot open the appli-ance door.

• Make sure that the washing programme is finished.• Set the drain or the spin programme if there is water in the drum.

The appliance makes anunusual noise.

• Make sure the levelling of the appliance is correct. Refer to 'Installa-tion'.

• Make sure that the packaging and/or the transit bolts are removed.Refer to 'Installation'.

• Add more laundry in the drum. The load may be too small.

INSTALLATION


CLEANING THE INLET HOSE AND THE VALVEFILTER

Remove all transit bolts and packingbefore you use the appliance. You areadvised to keep all transit devices so that they can be refitted if the applianceever has to be transported again.

• After removing all thepackaging, carefullylay the appliance onit’s back to removethe polystyrene basefrom the bottom.

• Remove the powersupply cable and thedraining hose from thehose holders on therear of the appliance.

• Unscrew the threebolts.

• Slide out the relevantplastic spacers.

• Remove thepolystyrene blockfitted on the door seal.Pull out all items fromthe drum.

• Fill the smaller upperhole and the two largeones with the plasticplug caps supplied inthe bag with the UserManual.

POSITIONNING• Install the machine on a flat hard floor. Make

sure that air circulation around the appliance isnot impeded by carpets, rugs etc.

• Check that the machine does not touch the wallor other kitchen units.

• Level the appliance byraising or lowering thefeet.

• The feet may be tightto adjust as theyincorporate a selflocking nut, but theappliance MUST belevel and stable.

• If necessary, check the setting with a spirit level.Any necessary adjustment can be made with aspanner.

• The inlet hose must not be lengthened. If it istoo short and you do not wish to move the tap,you will have to purchase a new, longer hosespecially designed for this type of use.

WATER DRAINAGEThe end of the drain hose can be positioned inthree ways:

• Hooked over the edge of a sink using theplastic hose guide supplied with themachine.In this case, make sure the end cannot comeunhooked when the appliance is emptying. This

could be done by tying it to the tap with a pieceof string or attaching it to the wall.

• In a sink drain pipe branch.This branch must be above the trap so that thebend is at least 60 cm above the ground.

• Directly into a drain pipe at a height of notless than 60 cm and not more than 90 cm.The end of the drain hose must always beventilated, i.e. the inside diameter of thedrainpipe must be larger than the outsidediameter of the drain hose. The drain hose mustnot be kinked.

The drain hose may be extended to a maximum of 4metres. An additional drain hose and joining pieceis available from your local Service Centre

centrifugado o añada opciones disponibles.Cuando se activa una opción, se enciende elindicador de la opción ajustada.

Si gira el selector hasta otro programamientras la lavadora está funcionando,el piloto rojo de la tecla Inicio/Pausaparpadeará 3 veces para indicar quese ha realizado una selecciónincorrecta.

Se enciende el indicador Prelava./Lava y permanece encendido.El programa se inicia y la puerta se bloquea.

INICIO DE UN PROGRAMA CON LA OPCIÓNDE INICIO DIFERIDO1. Pulse la tecla Inicio Diferido repetidamente

Para cancelar el inicio diferido:a. Pulse la tecla Inicio/Pausa para poner el

aparato en pausa.El indicador correspondiente parpadea.

b. Pulse una vez la tecla Inicio Diferido; elindicador del retardo ajustado se apaga.Vuelva a pulsar la tecla Inicio/Pausa parainiciar el programa inmediatamente.

CANCELACIÓN DE UN PROGRAMA ENCURSO1. Gire el selector de programas hasta la posición

para cancelar el programa y desactivar elaparato.

2. Gire de nuevo el selector de programas paraactivar el aparato. Ahora puede ajustar unnuevo programa de lavado.

Antes de empezar un nuevo programa,el aparato podría drenar el agua. Eneste caso, asegúrese de que quedadetergente en el compartimento, de locontrario, rellénelo.

Para abrir la puerta durante los primeros minutosdel ciclo o cuando el inicio diferido estáfuncionando:1. Pulse la tecla Inicio/Pausa para poner en pausa

el aparato.2. Espere unos minutos hasta que se desbloquee

la puerta.3. Puede abrir la puerta.4. Cierre la puerta y toque la tecla Inicio/Pausa de

AL FINALIZAR EL PROGRAMA• El aparato se para automáticamente.

• El indicador de la tecla Inicio/Pausa se apaga.Se enciende el indicador Fin/Fim y permaneceencendido.

• Gire el selector de programas hasta la posición

para desactivar el aparato.• Puede abrir la puerta pasados unos minutos.• Retire la colada del aparato. Asegúrese de que

el tambor está totalmente vacío.• Cierre la llave de paso.• Deje la puerta y el depósito de detergente

entreabiertos para evitar la formación de moho yolores desagradables.

El programa de lavado ha finalizado, perohay agua en el tambor:• El tambor gira regularmente para evitar arrugas

en la colada.

• El indicador permanece encendido.• El indicador Inicio/Pausa parpadea para

recordarle que debe drenar el agua.• Debe vaciar el agua para abrir la puerta.Drenaje del agua:1. Ajuste un programa de descarga (Descarga) o

de centrifugado (Centrifugar).2. Pulse la tecla Inicio/Pausa.El aparato desagua y centrifuga.3. Cuando el programa ha finalizado:

• Se apaga el indicador Inicio/Pausa y elindicador de fase Fin/Fim se enciende.

• Puede abrir la puerta pasados unosminutos, cuando se desbloquee.

4. Gire el selector de programas hasta la posición

para desactivar el aparato.

ESPERATranscurridos unos minutos tras el final delprograma de lavado, si no desactiva el aparato, seactiva el estado de ahorro de energía. El estado deahorro de energía reduce el consumo energéticocuando el aparato está en modo de espera:• Todos los indicadores se apagan.• El indicador de la tecla Inicio/Pausa parpadea

lentamente.Pulse una de las teclas para desactivar el estadode ahorro de energía.

CONSEJOSINTRODUCIR COLADA• Divida la colada en: ropa blanca, ropa de color,

ropa sintética, prendas delicadas y prendas delana.

• Siga las instrucciones de lavado que seencuentran en las etiquetas de las prendas.

• No lave juntas las prendas blancas y de color.• Algunas prendas de color pueden desteñir en el

primer lavado. Se recomienda lavarlas porseparado la primera vez.

• Abotone las fundas de almohadas y cierre lascremalleras, los ganchos y los broches. Ate lascorreas.

• Vacíe los bolsillos y despliegue las prendas.• Dé la vuelta a las prendas de varias capas, de

lana y con motivos pintados.• Retire las manchas difíciles.• Lave con detergente especial las manchas

difíciles.• Tenga cuidado con las cortinas. Quite los

ganchos o coloque las cortinas en una bolsapara lavadora o funda de almohada.

• No lave en el aparato prendas sin dobladillos odesgarradas. Use una bolsa para lavadora paralavar las prendas pequeñas y delicadas (p. ej.,sujetadores con aros, cinturones, medias, etc.).

• Una carga muy pequeña puede provocarproblemas de desequilibrio en la fase decentrifugado. Si esto ocurre, ajustemanualmente las prendas en la cuba e inicie denuevo la fase de centrifugado.

MANCHAS DIFÍCILESPara algunas manchas, el agua y el detergente noson suficientes.Se recomienda eliminar estas manchas antes decolocar las prendas en el aparato.Existen quitamanchas especiales. Utilice elquitamanchas especial adecuado al tipo demancha y tejido.

DETERGENTES Y ADITIVOS• Utilice solo detergentes y aditivos

especialmente fabricados para lavadoras:– detergente en polvo para todo tipo de

prendas,– detergente en polvo para prendas

delicadas (40 °C máx.) y lana,– detergente líquido para todo tipo de tejidos

o especial para lana, preferiblemente paraprogramas de lavado a baja temperatura(60 °C máx.).

• No mezcle diferentes tipos de detergentes.

• Para respetar el medio ambiente, no ponga másdetergente del necesario.

• Siga siempre las instrucciones que seencuentran en el envase de estos productos.

• Use los productos adecuados para el tipo ycolor del tejido, la temperatura del programa y elgrado de suciedad.

• Si el aparato no tiene el dosificador dedetergente con dispositivo de compuerta, añadalos detergentes líquidos con una boladosificadora (suministrada por el fabricante deldetergente).

CONSEJOS ECOLÓGICOS• Ajuste un programa sin la fase de prelavado

para lavar ropa con suciedad normal.• Empiece siempre un programa de lavado con la

carga de colada máxima.• Si fuera necesario, utilice un quitamanchas

cuando ajuste un programa a baja temperatura.• Para utilizar la cantidad correcta de detergente,

compruebe la dureza del agua de su sistemadoméstico

DUREZA DEL AGUASi la dureza del agua de su zona es alta omoderada, se recomienda usar un descalcificadorde agua para lavadoras. En las zonas en las que ladureza del agua sea baja, no es necesario utilizarun descalcificador.Póngase en comunicación con las autoridadescorrespondientes para conocer la dureza del aguade su zona.Utilice la cantidad correcta de descalcificador. Sigalas instrucciones que encontrará en el envase delproducto.

ETIQUETAS DE LAS PRENDASPara el secado de la ropa, siga las indicaciones delas etiquetas de los fabricantes:

• = La prenda puede secarse en secadora

• = El ciclo de secado es de alta temperatura

• = El ciclo de secado es de baja temperatura

• = La prenda no puede secarse en secadora

DURACIÓN DEL CICLO DE SECADOEl tiempo de secado puede variar dependiendo de:• la velocidad del último centrifugado• el nivel de secado• el tipo de prenda• el peso de las prendas que se han cargado en

la máquina

SECADO ADICIONALSi las prendas siguen húmedas al final delprograma, vuelva a seleccionar un ciclo de secadocorto.

DESCALCIFICACIÓNSi la dureza del agua de su zona es alta omoderada, se recomienda usar un descalcificadorde agua para lavadoras.Examine periódicamente el tambor para evitar laformación de cal y partículas de óxido.Para eliminar partículas de oxidación, utiliceproductos especiales para lavadoras. Hágalo deforma separada del lavado de la colada.

LAVADO DE MANTENIMIENTOCon los programas a baja temperatura, es posibleque quede algo de detergente en el tambor.Realice periódicamente un lavado demantenimiento. Para ello:• Saque las prendas del tambor.• Ajuste el programa de algodón con la

LIMPIEZA DEL DOSIFICADOR DEDETERGENTELimpie con regularidad la cubeta del detergente enpolvo y de los aditivos de lavado.

• Retire la cubetapresionando el topehacia abajo y tirandohacia afuera.

• Enjuáguelo bajo elgrifo para eliminar todorastro de detergenteen polvo acumulado.

• Retire la parte superiordel compartimento deaditivo para facilitar lalimpieza.

• Asegúrese de eliminartodos los residuos dedetergente en polvo dela parte superior einferior del hueco.

• Utilice un cepillopequeño para limpiar elhueco.

• Vuelva a colocar la cubeta y ponga en marcha elprograma de aclarado sin colada en el tambor.

LIMPIEZA DEL FILTRO DE DESAGÜELa bomba debe inspeccionarse con regularidad,especialmente en caso de que:• el aparato no desagüe o no centrifugue;• el aparato presente un ruido extraño durante la

fase de descarga porque haya objetos, comoimperdibles, monedas, etc., que obstruyan labomba;

descrito anteriormente.8. Vuelva a colocar la manguera de descarga de

emergencia en su lugar una vez que la hayataponado.

9. Vuelva a atornillar la manguera de entrada deagua.

SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS


INTRODUCCIÓNEl aparato no se pone en marcha o se detienedurante el funcionamiento.Primero, intente buscar una solución al problema(consulte la tabla). Si no la encuentra, póngase encontacto con el Centro de servicio técnico.Con algunos problemas, se activan las señalesacústicas. El indicador rojo de la tecla Inicio/Pausaparpadea y se ilumina uno de los indicadores defase para mostrar un código de alarma:• Prelava./Lava. - El aparato no carga agua

correctamente.

• Aclarados/Enxag. Centrifugar - El aparato nodesagua.

• Fin/Fim - La puerta del aparato está abierta o noestá bien cerrada. Revise la puerta.

• El indicador de la tecla Inicio/Pausa parpadeaen rojo 11 veces y 1 (o 2 o 3) veces en verde:la corriente eléctrica es inestable. Espere hastaque la corriente eléctrica se estabilice y elaparato comenzará a funcionarautomáticamente.

ADVERTENCIA! Apague el aparatoantes de realizar las comprobaciones.

• Asegúrese de que la manguera de entrada no esté doblada ni re-torcida.

• Compruebe que la manguera de entrada de agua está conectadacorrectamente.

• Asegúrese de que el tubo de desagüe se encuentra en la posicióncorrecta. Es posible que la manguera esté demasiado baja.

El aparato no desagua. • Compruebe que el desagüe no esté obstruido.• Asegúrese de que el tubo de desagüe no esté doblado ni retorci-

do.• Compruebe que el filtro de desagüe no está obstruido. Limpie el fil-

tro si fuera necesario. Consulte el capítulo "Mantenimiento y limpie-za".

• Compruebe que la manguera de desagüe está conectada correc-tamente.

• Ajuste el programa de descarga si selecciona un programa sin lafase de descarga.

• Ajuste el programa de descarga si selecciona una opción que ter-mina con agua en la cuba.

La fase de centrifugado nofunciona o el ciclo de lava-do dura más de lo normal.

• Seleccione el programa de centrifugado.• Compruebe que el filtro de desagüe no está obstruido. Limpie el fil-

tro si fuera necesario. Consulte el capítulo "Mantenimiento y limpie-za".

• Ajuste manualmente las prendas en la cuba e inicie de nuevo lafase de centrifugado. Este problema puede deberse a problemasde equilibrio.

Hay agua en el suelo. • Cerciórese de que los acoplamientos de los tubos de agua estánbien apretados y de que no hay pérdidas de agua.

• Compruebe que la manguera de desagüe no está dañada.• Asegúrese de que usa el detergente adecuado y la cantidad cor-

recta.• Asegúrese de que ha cambiado el tapón de desagüe de emergen-

cia del filtro• Asegúrese de que ha enroscado correctamente el filtro después de

limpiar.

No se puede abrir la puertadel aparato.

• Asegúrese de que el programa de lavado ha terminado.• Ajuste el programa de centrifugado o descarga si hay agua en el

tambor.

El aparato produce un rui-do extraño.

• Compruebe que el aparato está correctamente nivelado. Consulteel apartado "Instalación".

• Asegúrese de que se ha quitado el material de embalaje y los pa-sadores de transporte. Consulte el apartado "Instalación".

• Añada más colada en el tambor. Es posible que la carga sea dema-siado pequeña.

Los resultados del lavadono son satisfactorios.

• Aumente la cantidad de detergente o utilice otro diferente.• Use productos especiales para eliminar las manchas difíciles antes

de lavar las prendas.• Asegúrese de ajustar la temperatura correcta.• Reduzca la carga.

No es posible seleccionaropciones.

• Asegúrese de pulsar solo las teclas apropiadas.

Una vez finalizada la revisión, conecte el aparato. Elprograma continuará a partir del punto en que sehaya interrumpido.Si el problema se vuelve a producir, póngase encontacto con el Centro de servicio técnico.Si la pantalla muestra otros códigos de alarma.Encienda y apague el aparato. Si el problemapersiste, póngase en contacto con el serviciotécnico.

ASISTENCIALe recomendamos que utilice recambios originales.Cuando se ponga en contacto con el Centro deservicio técnico, asegúrese de que tiene a manoestos datos. La información se puede encontrar enla placa de características: modelo (Mod.), PNC(Prod.No.), número de serie (Ser.No.).

INSTALACIÓN


LIMPIEZA DEL TUBO DE ENTRADA Y ELFILTRO DE LA VÁLVULA

Retire todos los pasadores delembalaje y transporte antes de usar elaparato. Se aconseja guardar todoeste material para usarlo de nuevo encaso de que sea necesario transportarel aparato.

• Después de retirartodo el material deembalaje, recuestecon cuidado elaparato sobre suparte trasera paraextraer la base depoliestireno de laparte inferior.

• Retire el cable dealimentación y lamanguera dedescarga de lossoportes de manguerasituados en la partetrasera del aparato.

COLOCACIÓN• Instale la máquina en el suelo sobre una

superficie plana y rígida. Asegúrese de que elaire circula correctamente alrededor del aparatoaunque haya moqueta, alfombras, etc.

• Cerciórese de que la máquina no está encontacto con la pared u otros armarios decocina

• Nivele el aparatosubiendo o bajandolas patas.

• Sitúelo a la izquierdao a la derecha enfunción de la posiciónde la toma de agua.

• Afloje la tuerca anular para colocar el tubocorrectamente. Después de colocar lamanguera de entrada, vuelva a apretar lacontratuerca para evitar fugas de agua.

• Conecte el tubo a unatoma de aguamediante una roscade 3/4 pulgadas.Debe utilizar siemprela manguerasuministrada con elaparato.

• No utilice prolongaciones para la manguera deentrada de agua. Si es demasiado corta y nodesea mover la toma de agua, tendrá queadquirir una manguera más larga diseñadaespecialmente para estos casos.

DESAGÜEEl extremo del tubo de descarga se puede instalarde tres maneras distintas:

• Sujeto por encima del borde de unfregadero mediante el codo de plásticosuministrado con la lavadora.En tal caso, asegúrese de que el extremo deltubo no se desenganche cuando el aparato estédesaguando. Para evitarlo, puede fijarlo a latoma de agua con una brida o sujetarlo a lapared.

• En un empalme de derivación paradescarga en el fregadero.El empalme debe estar encima de la toma paraque haya 60 cm como mínimo entre el codo y elsuelo.

• Directamente en un tubo de desagüe auna altura mínima de 60 cm y máxima de 90cm.El extremo del tubo de descarga siempre debeestar ventilado; es decir, el diámetro interno deltubo de descarga debe ser mayor que eldiámetro externo. El tubo de descarga no debeestar retorcido.

La manguera de descarga puede extenderse hastaun máximo de 4 metros. En el centro de serviciotécnico local hay disponibles mangueras dedescarga y piezas de unión adicionales.

Bisagras

Para poner las bisagras taladre dos orificios (diá.35 mm, fondo 12,5 - 14 mm dependiendo delfondo del mueble) por el lado interno de la puerta.Para atornillar las bisagras a la puerta use lostornillos para madera 1 y 2 suministrados con elaparato (véase a continuación).

La distancia entre centros de ambos orificios debeser de 416 mm. La distancia entre el bordesuperior de la puerta y el centro del orificiodepende de las medidas del mueble adyacente.Montaje de la puertaPara montar la puerta, atornille las bisagras alaparato con los tornillos M5x15.

No quite el tornillo B.

Las bisagras se pueden ajustar para compensarcualquier posible variación de grosor de la puerta.

Para alinear bien la puerta es preciso aflojar eltornillo, ajustar la puerta y apretar de nuevo eltornillo A.El aparato está preparado para llevar un cierremagnético instalado en la puerta. Para que estedispositivo funcione correctamente hay queatornillar el contraimán A (disco de acero con anillode goma) por el lado interno de la puerta.
