SnapshotTRAINING: Strategic Bb training provided for key staff initially that were in a position to up‐skill colleagues as required.In‐house training conducted on a monthly basis as a whole P‐6 staff with individual sessions 1:1 as needed dependent on skill level of each staff member and level of comfort with change.IMPLEMENTATION: 1:1 Laptops Yrs 4‐6 required planning regarding storage, charging, expected usage at school, integration with curriculum

As we move through the junior years the focus changes. Transmission of information for parents to maintain awareness of initiatives and support for learning continues but students are now utilising a number of additional features within Bb learn to access information for themselves and submit tasks for grading.

Year5 teachers utilise MyIGS for copies of printed assignments and resources. Electronic versions can be accessed from home. 

Parents are kept informed regarding assessment task due dates, class and school expectations and can view images and comments from weekly events and excursions. 

Yr5’s have begun using Bb quizzes to assist students to practice Naplan style activities enabling them multiple opportunities to obtain mastery of skill types.

Year 6 is the final year of our Junior school and so students are exposed to greater ICT integration in preparation for Middle Schooling. Weekly newsletters: To support parents and ensure a clear flow of information, weekly notices are posted online along with information relating to camps and excursions.All teaching and learning course materials are available via MyIGS. This has enabled more efficient revision of class based learning materials either on the day or later in the term; students are able to keep up to date with class lessons in the event of illness and we have trialed distance learning with a student earlier this year who needed to spend an extended time in Scotland and so we delivered his school materials electronically and he submitted work back via the system when completed.Parents: Keep track of student progress, can access teacher feedback per task, enjoy the transparency of the work we doInteractive Homework Tasks: Some homework tasks are set via the ‘Test’ feature of Bb learn where students complete multi‐choice or short answer tasks on term topics, are graded instantly and can take tests multiple times to gain mastery.All course assessments‐ task sheets, online draft and final submissions : All assessment tasks are outlined on MyIGS along with rubrics. Students submit drafts for feedback and final submissions.ExemplarsDiscussion boards:  used both for engagement with subject content questions but additionally to monitor student behaviour. Surveys are used to collect student feedback regarding the general state of the student body. Students can comment freely on issues that impact the cohort/ class group. We post parent information to support their understanding of curriculum at IGS.Review & extension workDiet & Learning: Focus on healthy lunchboxes for improved classroom learning. Showcase students who consider their health and maximise learning time, student based recipes, articles on healthy eating for parents in a move to promote learning in all facets.Positives: Information and resources are current and practical, students no longer need to rely on print based materials, seamless transition from school to home learning environments.

General capabilities of Australian Curriculum and ICT skills;We are fine tuning sharing of information with our 100 teaching staff and 50 support staff (many part time);‐ Working on the Administration & Curriculum courses & organisations that we have provided for all staff and teaching staff respectively for 

their communication, learning, content ‐ Digital Citizenship / ICT Skills across curriculum Prep to year 12‐ Extending the use of others’ youTube videos to provide video how to’s & explanations, and starting to create our own!‐ Including multi types of learning modes, in small, just in time availability

Auditing / modeling of teaching and learning practices;We are revising our delivery model for professional development to include peer coaching utilising many varied opportunities for staff (students & parents) learning such‐ SAMR / TPACK‐ Applied coaching based on Microsoft Education Seminars and resources‐ Applied coaching in “lunch box” sessions; quick bite (10‐15 minute) sessions‐ Blended options – print instruction, online checklists &/or how to’s, using video/audio … all delivered within Administration organisation of 

MyIpswichGrammar‐ Empowering staff to utilise tools and blended learning opportunities provided and supported in MyIpswichGrammar‐ Evaluating our progress against our ICT Enhanced Learning Implementation Framework
