LIMAX ist das Leichtbau-Netzwerk der Zukunft für den Maschinenbau

Das Netzwerk ist ausgerichtet auf spezifische Leichtbauaktivitäten mit dem Schwerpunkt Ma-schinenbau. Wirtschaft und Forschung, insbesondere aber kleine und mittelständische Unter-nehmen sowie Universitäten werden in die Arbeit dieses ZIM-Netzwerkes eingebunden, um deren Innovationen zielführend weiterzuentwickeln. Spezialwissen und fachgebietsübergreifende Kompe-tenz im Leichtbau werden hier gebündelt und kom-men allen Beteiligten zugute.

Mit dem Aufbau einer wirtschaftsnahen außeruni-versitären Leichtbau-Forschungsinfrastruktur inkl. Maschineninfrastruktur in Südniedersachsen sollen zukünftig aufwandsgerecht innovative Produkte her-gestellt werden. Ich lade jeden Interessierten ein, sich dem Netzwerk anzuschließen.

LIMAX is the lightweight construction network of the future for mechanical engineering

The network is focused on specific lightweight construction ac-tivities with a focus on mechanical engineering. Economy and research, but especially small and medium-sized enterprises as well as universities, are integrated into the work of this ZIM network in order to further develop their innovations in a tar-geted manner. Special expertise and interdisciplinary compe-tence in lightweight construction will be bundled here and will benefit all stakeholders.

By building up research infrastructure for lightweight cons-truction including machinery infrastructure in southern Lo-wer Saxony that is close to the industry innovative products will be produced in the future. I invite all interested parties to join the network

LIMAX ist das Netzwerk für Akteure aus Unternehmen und Forschungseinrichtungen, die Spezialwissen und fachgebietsübergreifende Kompetenzen in die variantenreichen Gebiete des Leichtbaus einbringen. Der Leichtbau gilt als eine der modernen Schlüsseltechnologien, um den Herausforderungen der Energie- und Materialeffizienz zu entsprechen.

LIMAX, das Netzwerk für praktizierten Leicht-bau, kann dazu beitragen, Werkstoffstrukturen weiter zu entwickeln, Bearbeitungsprozesse zu optimieren und innovative Anlagentechnologien zu erarbeiten.

LIMAX is the network for stakeholders from companies and research institutions which provide specialized knowledge and initiate cross-sectoral competencies in the various areas of lightweight construction. Lightweight construction is conside-red to be one of the modern key technologies to meet the challen-ges of energy and material efficiency.

LIMAX, the network for practiced lightweight construction, can help to further develop material structures, to optimize ma-chining processes and to develop innovative plant technologies.

Political and technological background

Die aktuellen und global wirkenden ökonomischen und ökologischen Bedingungen for-dern verstärkt nach Energie- und Ressourcenschonung. Hier nimmt der Leichtbau eine bedeutende, vielleicht sogar herausragende Stellung ein. Für die Industrie, insbesondere für die kleinen und mittelständischen Unterneh-men bedeutet das, dass sie ihre Produktionsver-fahren und die Eigenschaften ihrer technischen Produkte entsprechend ausrichten und ausrüsten müssen, was trotz des bereits hohen Entwick-lungsstandes neue und innovative Technologien und Produkte erfordert.

The current and globally effective economic and ecological con-ditions are increasingly demanding energy and resource conser-vation. In this environment lightweight construction occupies a significant, perhaps even a prominent, position. For industry, in particular for small and medium-sized enterprises, this means that they must align and equip their production processes and the characteristics of their technical products, which, despite the already high level of development, requires new and innova-tive technologies and products.

Der LIMAX e. V. ist der nächste, zukunftsfähige Schritt des erfolgreich von der innos - Sperlich GmbH gemanagten Netzwerkes mit gleichnamigem Titel. Erstmalig in Deutschland und in Niedersachsen organisieren sich KMU-Vertreter und schaf-fen in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Land Nieder-sachsen ein Innovationsumfeld, in welchem neue Verfahren und Produkte zielgenau für den Kunden, den Hersteller entwickelt und vor- serienreif produziert werden können.

Dazu wird den Mitgliedern des LIMAX e.V. ein modernes, auf exzellenter Basis aufgestelltes wirtschaftsnahes Forschungsumfeld zur Verfü-gung gestellt.

The LIMAX e. V. is the next, future-oriented step of the LI-MAX network managed by innos - Sperlich GmbH.
