Hsinchu City, Taiwan is a high-tech community blessed with mountain and coastal scenery. Our green mountain and blue water are simple, yet pleasant and beautiful to behold. Aiming to promote a dual theme of technology and culture, we are making strong efforts to set up more parks, plant more trees and flowers so that Hsinchu City also becomes a garden city with birdsong, fragrance, happiness, abundance, health, success. 

Population & Environment

In Hsinchu City, the disposal of household waste, large furniture, retired home appliances, and night soil; clearing out the sewage; mowing of roadside weeds; removing of trash and untidy places; washing the streets; demolishing of unregistered ads implements; and road maintenance are currently managed by the Seventh Section of Environmental Protection Bureau. Business waste disposal is the responsibility of licensed waste disposal institutions.
