RM255,100,000
326,500,000 Units
NAV per Unit, rounded to 4 decimal places
= RM0.7813
Please note that the example above is for illustrative purpose only.
Illustration 1: If you are making an investment: (i) Assuming the amount you wish to invest (“Investment amount”): RM10,000.00 in ASN. (ii) NAV per Unit : RM0.5000 (iii) Sales charge : 5% (iv) GST : 6% on sales charge
a) Units issued to you = Investment amount NAV per Unit
= RM10,000 RM0.5000 = 20,000 units (b) Sales charge Incurred = Investment amount x 5% = RM10,000 X 5% = RM500.00
(c) GST on sales charge = Sales charge incurred x 6% = RM500.00 X 6% = RM30.00 (d) Total amount payable = Investment amount + Sales charge incurred +
by you GST on sales charge = RM10,000 + RM500.00 + RM30.00 = RM10,530.00 The rounding up of the NAV per Unit will be up to four decimal places. The total amount paid will be subjected to the rounding mechanism. Please note that the example above is for illustrative purposes only.
Illustration 2: If you wish to request for repurchase of your investment (i) Assuming amount you wish to repurchase: RM10, 000.00 in ASN. (ii) NAV per Unit : RM0.5000 (iii) Repurchase charge : Nil
(a) Repurchased units = Amount paid NAV per Unit = RM10,000 RM0.5000 = 20,000 Units
(b) Repurchase charge = NAV per Unit x Repurchase charge per Unit per Unit = RM0.5000 x 0% = RM0 (c) Total repurchase charge = Repurchase charge per unit x Repurchased units = RM0 x 20,000 units = RM0 (d) Net repurchase = Amount repurchased – Repurchase charge proceeds = RM10,000 – RM0 = RM10,000
The rounding up of the NAV per Unit will be up to four decimal places. The total amount paid will be subjected to a rounding mechanism. Please note that the example above is for illustrative purposes only.
Illustration 3: Re-Price: However, if the Fund’s NAV as at the mid-day Valuation Point differs by more than 5% from the NAV as at last Valuation Point, the Unit will be re-priced after the start of business of the Bursa Malaysia at 2.30 p.m. You submit an application to invest RM10,000 in ASN 3 at 2.15 p.m.: NAV of ASN 3: Published Price - NAV per Unit: RM0.5000 (rounded to 4 decimal places). After the mid-day close of business of the Bursa Malaysia, the NAV of ASN 3 has reduced by 7% compared to the NAV at end of the previous Business Day. Effectively the Unit price for the afternoon session (after 2.30 p.m.) will be re-priced as follows: NAV of ASN 3: Re-Priced NAV - NAV per Unit: RM0.4650 (rounded to 4 decimal places). Your application will only be processed after 2.35 p.m. (The transactions are suspended from 2.15 p.m. – 2.30 p.m. to enable the information on new pricing be transmitted to all ASNB branches and agents) and will be re-priced with the new Unit price. You can either cancel or proceed with the application at the new price. If you decide to proceed with the transaction, your cost of purchase will be as follows:
Your cost of purchase
(a) Investment Amount = RM10,000.00
(b) Units issued to you = Investment Amount
NAV per unit = RM10,000
RM0.4650 = 21,505.38 Units (c) Sales charge incurred = Investment amount x 5% = RM10,000 X 5%
= RM500.00
(d) GST on sales charge = Sales charge incurred x 6% = RM500.00 x 6% = RM30.00
(e) Total amount payable by you = Investment amount + Sales
charge incurred+ GST on sales charge
= RM10,000.00 + RM500.00 + RM30.00
= RM10,530.00 Please note that the example above is for illustrative purposes only
Illustration 4: Repurchase You may request to repurchase RM10, 000 of your investments in ASN 3 at 2.15 p.m. After the mid-day close of business of the Bursa Malaysia, the NAV of ASN 3 has reduced by 7% compared to the NAV at end of the previous Business Day. Effectively the Unit price for the afternoon session (after 2.30 p.m.) will be re-priced as follows:
Re-Priced NAV NAV per Unit, rounded to 4 decimal places : RM0. 4650
Your application will only be processed after 2.35 p.m. (The transactions are suspended from
2.15 p.m. – 2.30 p.m. to enable the information on new pricing be transmitted to all ASNB

PENYATA PENDEDAHAN RISIKO PELABURAN DALAM UNIT AMANAH MENERUSI PINJAMAN (UNTUK TABUNG UNIT AMANAH HARGA BERUBAH-UBAH)
UNIT TRUST LOAN FINANCING RISK DISCLOSURE STATEMENT (FOR VARIABLE PRICE UNIT TRUST FUNDS)
Investing in a Unit Trust Fund With Borrowed Money Is More Risky than Investing with Your Own Savings. You should assess if loan financing is suitable for you in light of your objectives, attitude to risk and financial circumstances. You should be aware of the risks, which would include of the following: 1. The higher the margin of financing (that is, the amount of money
you borrow for every ringgit of your own money which you put in as deposit or down payment) the greater the potential for losses or gains on your investment.
2. You should assess whether you have the ability to service the repayments on the proposed loan. If your loan is a variable rate loan, and if interest rates rise, your total repayment amount will be increased.
3. If unit prices fall beyond a certain level, you may be asked to provide additional acceptable collateral (where here units are used as collateral) or pay additional amounts on top of your normal installments. If you fail to comply within time prescribed, your units may be sold towards the settlement of your loan.
4. Returns on unit trusts are not guaranteed and may not be earned evenly over time. This means that there may be some years where returns are high and other years where losses are experienced. Whether you eventually realize a gain or loss may be affected by the timing of the sale of your units. The value of units may fall just when you want your money back even though the investment may have done well in the past.
The brief statement cannot disclose all the risks and other aspects of loan financing. You should therefore carefully study the terms and conditions before you decide to take a loan. If you are in doubt about any aspect of this risk disclosure statement or the terms of the loan financing, you should consult the institution offering the loan. The risks of investing with borrowed money may differ when the unit price of a unit trust fluctuates, and you should consult the institution offering the loan on these risks. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RECEIPT OF RISK DISCLOSURE STATEMENT I acknowledge that I have received a copy of this Unit Trust Loan Financing Risk Disclosure Statement and understand its contents.

PENYATA PENDEDAHAN RISIKO PELABURAN DALAM UNIT AMANAH MENERUSI PINJAMAN (UNTUK TABUNG UNIT AMANAH BERHARGA TETAP)
UNIT TRUST LOAN FINANCING RISK DISCLOSURE STATEMENT (FOR FIXED PRICE UNIT TRUST FUNDS)
