Mongolian Empire.

In July 11, 1921, Mongolia won its independence.
In 1990, Mongolia endorsed democracy and transferred to market economy.
Mongolia is home to the wild ass, wild camel, wild sheep and the Gobi bear. The wild horse (Takhi) has been recently successfully reintroduced. Bird life is rich and includes the golden eagle, bearded vulture, and other birds of prey. Mongolia’s 2,000 lakes provide wetlands that attract diverse species of birds including storks, herring gull, and relict gull.
Lakes also support species of fish unique to Mongolia.
