WAT IS ONDERHANDELEN?
“A process in which two or more parties exchange goods or services and attempt to agree on the exchange rate for them.”
“Negotiation is an interpersonal decision-making process necessary whenever we cannot achieve our objects single-handedly.”

opleiding Re-integratieprofessional
WE ZIJN ALLEMAAL VOORTDUREND AAN HET ONDERHANDELEN… EN TOCH WORDEN WE ER MAAR NIET BETER IN! EGOCENTRISME
ZICHZELF VERSTERKENDE INCOMPETENTIE

CONFIRMATION BIAS
Re-integratie Academie

What do I want? What is my target point?
Who are the other parties? One-shot, long term of repetitive?
What is my alternative, i.e., what is my BATNA?
Are there parties not present? Scarce resources, ideologies, or both?
What is my reservation point? Are the parties monolitic? Necessity or opportunity?
What kind of focal points are influencing me?
Which issues are important to other parties?
Are linkage effects present?
What are my “sunk costs”? What are the other party’s principles/interests?
Is agreement required?
Are target and reservation point different?
What are the other party’s alternatives?
Are time constraints involved?
What are the different issues? What is the position of the other party?
Where do the negotiations take place?
What are the alternatives for each issue?
What is the assumed BATNA of the other party?
Is the negotiation public or private?
Do I have multiple, equal alternatives?
Is there a power differential?
What is my risk potential? Is precedent important?

CONCLUSIES

opleiding Re-integratieprofessional
3 STEL HOGE DOELEN/WEES AMBITIEUS

INTEGRATIEVE ONDERHANDELINGEN
opleiding Re-integratieprofessional
OFWEL: EXPANDING THE PIE Uitgangspunt: win-win
Compromissen sluiten (=vaak verlies-verlies!) Een “goed gevoel” en “mooie gebaren maken”
Integratief onderhandelen is win-win
Re-integratie Academie
Eenvoudig beschikbare informatie beinvloedt beoordelingsvermogen AVAILABILITY
Re-integratie Academie
FIXED PIE PERCEPTION

CONCLUSIES
Integratief onderhandelen maakt win-win mogelijk
(anders gaat ‘ie overstuur)
Re-integratie Academie
INTEGRATIEVE ONDERHANDELINGEN: TIPS
3 MAAK GEBRUIK VAN VERSCHILLEN
We vermijden ze vaak, maar het is juist cruciaal Verschillende prioriteiten (logrolling) Verschillende risico attituden (gain frame vs loss frame) Verschillende tijdsvoorkeuren (korte vs lange termijn) Verschillende vaardigheden Leidt vaak tot contingentiecontracten (goed vastleggen!)
4 ONDERSCHEID ISSUES & DOE MEERDERE AANBIEDINGEN
5 MAAK “PACKAGE DEALS”
Re-integratie Academie
Inschatting hulpbronnen
Beoordeling verschillen
Opstellen aanbiedingen en
uitwisselingen Impasse
Huidige “beste”
deal
Deal vastleggen
Niet acceptabel, maar optimistisch
Partijen zijn het eens
Post-deal overeenkomsten
Niet acceptabel en weinig vertrouwen
