The most simple Japanese verb that takes these particles is いきます, to go.

Now, let me explain the difference between these two particles.

There’s a young couple having argue each other.

Then the guy decides to leave the room in order to calm himself down to somewhere,,,

The lady is a little anxious wondering where the guy went to,,,

which direction he is heading to.
