Why do we teach PDHPE in school?

PDHPE is an important part of primary education. It aims to teach students about the importance of safe living, a healthy lifestyle and

physical activity.

Gets us active!

Looks at ways to be healthy by: Learning to make good decisions about our

health and others. Learn about nutrition Drug use and it’s dangers And looking at protective measures, like how

to be safe in the sun – ‘Slip, Slop, Slap’!

Shows how to be healthy!

Strengthens our personal relationships. We learn about: Relationships Communication Families, peers and groups.

And finally, we learn PDHPE because it’s FUN!!!!!!!
