Plagiarism and Logical Thinking Education

論理的思考の教育と剽窃　　　　

There are three things really special about this workshop. First, it will discuss plagiarism from a radically new perspective of understanding the relationship between other people’s work and your own. Understanding plagiarism from this perspective will reveal a serious education problem that has not been given much attention. Second, it will explain why and how logical thinking education plays a crucial role in combating plagiarism. Third, it will be delivered in both English and Japanese. This is an important workshop for all students, researchers, teachers, and office staff of Nagoya University.

このワークショップはこれまでにない３つの特徴を備えています。まず第一に、他の人の仕事と自分の論文とをどう関係づけるかを理解しよう、という全く新しい観点から剽窃（コピペ）の問題を論じる点です。こうした観点から剽窃とは何かを理解することで、これまではあまり注意を払われてこなかった重大な教育上の問題点が浮かび上がってくるでしょう。第二に、剽窃に陥らないようにするにあたって、論理的思考の教育がなぜ、どのようにして重要な役割を果たすのかを明らかにします。第三に、このワークショップは英語と日本語の両方で提供されます。名古屋大学のすべての学生諸君、研究者、教職員にとって重要なワークショップです。みなさまふるってご参加ください。 !
