Alljährlich wird in der ersten vollen Juliwoche im Ostseebad War-nemünde die WARNEMÜNDER WOCHE ausgetragen. Zehn Tage langherrscht Sommer- und Partystimmung an Land, am Strand und aufdem Wasser. Die Segler schätzen das Revier vor den Toren der Han-sestadt Rostock aufgrund der kurzen Anfahrtswege zu den Regat-tabahnen, der langen Welle und des ungetrübten, meist kräftigwehenden Westwindes. Und sie lieben die individuelle, freundlicheBetreuung bei der Veranstaltung, die ihren eigenen Charme mit in-ternationalem Segelsport perfekt kombiniert. Die über 2.000 Seg-ler aus 30 Nationen in 20 Bootsklassen bilden das Herzstück derVeranstaltung. The WARNEMUENDER WOCHE takes place every year in the first week of July. For ten days, everyone has a great time in town, on the beach and on the water. Sailors love this sailing site at the resort of Rostock, especially because of its short distances to the race courses, the perfect waves and the reliably strong westerly winds. They also enjoy the personal and friendly care received throughout the event, which gives this regatta its special charme. OrganisationAnreise

Mit dem Auto:Teilnehmer, die ihre Basis im Yachthafen Mittelmole haben: An der Abfahrt Rostock West (14) die A20 verlassen und auf die B103 in Richtung Warnemünde abbiegen. In Warnemünde der Ausschilderung zum Yachthafen Mittelmole folgen.

Teilnehmer, die ihre Basis im Yachthafen Hohe Düne haben: An der Abfahrt Rostock Ost (6) die A19 verlassen und auf die B105 in Richtung Stralsund (Ausschilderung Hohe Düne) abbiegen. In Rövershagen an der ersten Kreuzung links abbiegen bis Nienhagen, rechts weiter auf der Bäderstraße, in Hinrichshagen links abbiegen und über Markgrafenheide nach hohe Düne.

Alternativ: Anfahrt wie Yachthafen Mittelmole, dann jedoch durch den Warnow-Tunnel (mautpflichtig) oder in Warnemünde mit der Autofähre (kostenpflichtig) nach Hohe Düne übersetzen.

Mit dem Flugzeug:Flughafen Rostock-Laage (www.rostock-airport.de)Taxi nach Warnemünde ca. 60,00 €.

Mit dem Zug:Bis Rostock-Hauptbahnhof, weiter mit der S-Bahn nach Warnemünde (Endstation). Fußweg zum Yachthafen Mittelmole oder zur Fähre nach Hohe Düne (2 min).

Mit dem Schiff:Die Fähre aus Dänemark, Schweden (www.scandlines.de), Finnland, Estland oder Lettland kommen im Fährhafen Rostock an (www.rostock-port.de).

Allgemeine Hinweise für Regattateilnehmer

Bei einer geplanten Anreise vor dem 3. Juli 2014 ist das Organisationsbüro per E-Mail unter info@warnemuender-woche.com rechtzeitig vorab zu informieren.

Die Anreise der Klassen für den zweiten Teil der WARNEMÜNDER WOCHE kann nicht vor Mittwoch, 9. Juli 2014 erfolgen.

Alle Regattateilnehmer werden gebeten, die besonderen Verkehrsregelungen im und um das Regattagelände auf der Mittelmole, der Hohen Düne und am Strand zu beachten. Sie sind notwendig,a) um die große Zahl von Booten, die zur WARNEMÜNDER WOCHE kommen, aufzunehmen,b) um die Verkehrswege für Polizei, Rettungswagen und Feuerwehr freizuhalten,c) die besonderen örtlichen Gegebenheiten des Ostseebades zu berücksichtigen.

Während der WARNEMÜNDER WOCHE wird eine Einbahnstraßenregelung eingerichtet, weitere Informationen siehe www.warnemuender-woche.com. Bitte folgen Sie den Anweisungen der Hafenmeister und des Sicherheitspersonals.

At Warnemu-ende you follow the signs leading to “Yachthafen Mittelmole” (Marina Mittelmole).Participants based at Marina Hohe Duene:Arriving on the highway A19 use exit no. 6 Rostock-Ost and con-tinue on the national route B105 towards Stralsund (signposted: Hohe Düne). At Rövershagen take the first turn left towards the village of Nienhagen, turn right onto the “Baederstrasse”, turn left in Hinrichshagen and pass through Markgrafenheide to the Marina Hohe Düne.

Option: You follow the a.m. direction and continue on B103, then use the Warnow tunnel (toll) or the car ferry (extra fee) from Warnemuende to Hohe Düne.

Regeln auf dem Veranstaltungsgelände- Das Grillen bzw. Anzünden von Lagerfeuern und anderen

offenen Feuerstellen ist strengstens verboten.- Das Baden und Angeln in allen Hafenanlagen ist

strengstens verboten.- Das Arbeiten an den Booten inklusive Mast stellen,

Mast legen und Auftakeln ist auf den zugewiesenen Parkflächen sowie auf dem Camping-, Wohnmobil- und Trailerplatz ausdrücklich untersagt.

- Bei Nichtbeachtung der Vorschriften können polizeiliche Maßnahmen nicht vermieden werden.

- Beachten Sie bitte das Merkblatt, das Sie bei der Anreise am Eingang zu den Yachthäfen oder im Regattabüro erhalten.

Trainer- und BegleitbooteIm Sinne der Sicherheit und eines reibungslosen Ablaufs der gesamten Regatta sind folgende Grundsätze einzuhalten:

- Vor der Nutzung müssen sich alle Trainer- und Begleitboote registrieren lassen, die geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen und Auflagen sowie die Regeln für Trainer- und Begleitboote der Veranstaltung erfüllen. Der Veranstalter kann Registrierungen zurückweisen und spätere Registrierungen nach eigener Einschätzung zulassen.

- Es sind pro Boot 35,00 € Hafengebühr zu entrichten (Nachmeldegebühr ab dem 21. Juni 2014: 50,00 €)

- Jedem registrierten Motorboot wird eine eindeutige Nummer zugeteilt. Diese muss sichtbar angebracht werden.

- Die Motorboote dürfen ausschließlich auf den ihnen zugewiesenen Liegeplätzen liegen.

- Der Veranstalter weist darauf hin, dass Führer von Schlauch- oder sonstigen Motorbooten den Sportbootführerschein See, bei Ausländern den entsprechenden Führerschein ihres Heimatstaates mitführen müssen.

General rules in the harbour area – It is strictly forbidden to have a barb or an open fire in the harbour area. – Swimming and fishing are strictly forbidden in all areas of the Warnemuende harbours. – Any duties on the boats including setting the mast or any procedures of rigging are strictly forbidden on all parking grounds and on all camping sites or parking facilities designed for trucks and trailers. – Non-compliance may call for enforcement by the police.

– Please note the details from the leaflet which will be distributed receive at the entrance to the marinas or at the Race Office.

Coach and support boatsIn the interest of safety and a smooth operation of the event, please follow the following principles: – Before using, all coach and support boats shall be registered online or via fax / letter-mail by the Organizing Authority and will be required to comply with local legislation and event support boat regulations. The Organizing Authority may refuse registrations and accept later registrations at their sole discretion. – Each boat shall pay a harbour fee of € 35.00 (late entry fee after 21st June 2014: € 50.00). – A unique registration number will be assigned to each support boat which has to be presented clearly visible. – Support boats are to be moored only in the allocated berths in the marinas. – The Organizing Authority informs that all helmsmen of dinghies or other motorboats have to hold the appropriate German license - e.g. international certicificate for pleasure boats off shore - foreign participants shall hold the adequate license of their home country.

- Die gesetzliche Höchstgeschwindigkeit auf der Warnow beginnend zwischen den Molenköpfen beträgt 6 kn. In den Häfen und im Alten Strom gilt eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 3 kn.

- Nur registrierte Trainer- und Begleitboote werden im Werftbecken Warnemünde gekrant bzw. nach Aufforderung vom Kran des Warnemünder Segel-Club e.V. zu Wasser gebracht und wieder an Land genommen. Die genaue Einteilung erfolgt nach Meldeschluss. Die jeweiligen Kranzeiten werden ebenfalls nach Meldeschluss im Internet veröffentlicht.

- Trainer- und Begleitboote haben den Anweisungen des Hafenmeisters, der Wettfahrtleitung bzw. Jury zu folgen.

- In Notsituationen ist jedes Trainer- und Begleitboot zur Hilfeleistung verpflichtet.

Kranen- Alle Kielboote mit der Basis Yachthafen Mittelmole, die

auf dem Landweg anreisen, werden an den Anreise- und Abreisetagen vom Mobilkran im Werftbecken Warnemünde bzw. nach Aufforderung vom Kran des Warnemünder Segel-Club e.V. zu Wasser gebracht und wieder an Land genommen.

Die jeweiligen Kranzeiten werden ebenfalls nach Meldeschluss im Internet veröffentlicht. Die genaue Einteilung erfolgt nach Meldeschluss. Teilnehmer werden vor Ort eingewiesen. Den Anweisungen des Hafen- und Sicherheitspersonals ist Folge zu leisten.

- Entsprechende Ausschilderung zum Werftbecken vor Ort, Anfahrtbeschreibung und den -plan finden Sie unter www.warnemuender-woche.com.

- Kranen für Kielboote mit der Basis Yachthafen Hohe Düne und für Yachten über 6t werden im Yachthafen Hohe Düne vorgenommen (Anfahrt siehe Ausschreibung „Anreise“).

- Kranen 1 x zu Wasser und 1 x an Land ist im Meldegeld enthalten. Eine Ausnahme bilden Seekreuzer: Diese haben pro Hub eine Krangebühr von 25,00 € zu entrichten.

– The maximum speed on the river Warnow (beginning between the two pier heads) is limited to 6 kts. Within the harbours and on the river Alter Strom the maximum speed is restricted to 3 kts. – Only registered support boats will be craned in the shipyard basin of Warnemuende or – after request – by the crane of Warnemuende Segel-Club. The precise classification and the crane time table will be published after entry closing date online. – All drivers of support and coach boats have to follow any instructions given by the Harbourmaster, the Race Committee or the Jury. – In case of emergency all coach and support boats are required to help out.

Utility of cranes – Keel boats based on Marina Mittelmole arriving by trailer may be launched and hauled out on the arrival and on the departure day by either the crane of Warnemuende Segel-Club or the mobile crane at the shipyard basin of Warnemuende. The precise classification and the crane time table will be published after entry closing date online. Participants are assigned on-site. Instruction of ports and security staff are to be followed.

– Adequate signage to shipyard basin on-site; clear directions and a detailed map on www.warnemuender-woche.com. – Keel boats based on Marina Hohe Duene and yachts witch a weight exceeding 6 tons shall only be launched and hauled out by the crane at marina Hohe Duene (arrival see NOR “Arrival”). – During the event a craning fee for one launching an one haul-out is included in the entry fee. Exception: Sea cruisers. Those have to pay a fee of 25,00 € per single launching / hauling.

Liegeplätze- Die Liegeplätze befinden sich im Yachthafen Mittelmole,

Alter Strom, Warnemünde Strand und im Yachthafen Hohe Düne.

- Liegeplätze werden vom Hafenmeister der WARNEMÜNDER WOCHE zugewiesen. Die gekennzeichnete Zuordnung der Stege und Flächen ist verbindlich. Den Anweisungen des Hafenpersonals ist Folge zu leisten.

- Liegeplatzgebühren werden für die Teilnehmer in der Zeit vom 5. bis 13. Juli 2014 nicht erhoben.

Fährverbindung Warnemünde <=> Hohe DüneDie Teilnehmer mit Basis Hohe Düne werden an den Regattatagen gebeten, die Fährverbindung zwischen Warnemünde und der Hohen Düne zu nutzen.

ParkenParkplätze in den Bereichen Marina Mittelmole und Marina Hohe Düne sind nur im begrenzten Umfang auf den ausgewiesenen öffentlichen Flächen vorhanden und kostenpflichtig. Der Veranstalter bietet für Trailer und Fahrzeuge der Teilnehmer einen Parkplatz auf dem Gelände der Warnow Werft an. Zwischen dem Parkplatz der Warnow Werft vor Warnemünde, für Trailer und Fahrzeuge der Teilnehmer, wird an den An- und Abreisetagen ein Shuttleverkehr in Warnemünde eingerichtet. Start- und Endpunkt ist der Yachthafen Mittelmole. Bitte folgen Sie der Ausschilderung Mobilkran zum Werftbecken.

Moorings – Moorings are located at Marina Mittelmole, Alter Strom, Warnemuende beach or at Marina Hohe Duene.

– All moorings will be allocated by the harbour master of WARNEMUENDER WOCHE. Participants are requested only to use the marked pontoon bridges and areas.

– Moorings and areas for boats are free of charge for participants within the period from 5th to 13th July 2014.

Ferry Warnemuende <=>Hohe DueneParticipants based at Hohe Duene are asked to use the local ferry from Warnemuende to Hohe Duene for transportation issues.

ParkingParking lots at Marina Mittelmole and Marina Hohe Düne are available at the indicated areas and subject to charge. The Orga-nizing Authority offers parking lots for trailers and vehicles for the participants on the parking lot of Warnow Werft.

Between the parking lot Warnow Werft a shuttle service is set up on the arrival and on the departure days. Starting place and des-tination is the marina Mittelmole. Please follow the signs to the mobile crane at the shipyard basin.

CampingDer kostenpflichtige Campingplatz für die Teilnehmer mit Basis Yachthafen Mittelmole, Basis Hohe Düne und Basis Warnemünde Strand (Höhe Leuchtturm) befindet sich auf dem Gelände der WIRO GmbH / ehemals Scandlines AG direkt neben dem Yachthafen Warnemünde. Als Campingplätze gelten die eingezäunten Bereiche. Innerhalb dieser Grenzen kann das Abladen erfolgen. Campingplatzkarten für die Mittelmole können direkt beim Parkplatzwächter erworben werden. Die Park- und Campingfläche ist begrenzt, Ausweichflächen stehen am Technologiezentrum (Handballcampingplatz) und am Werftparkplatz zur Verfügung. Für den Fall, dass Sie Fragen zum Thema Campingplatz Mittelmole haben, so wenden Sie sich bitte per E-Mail an camping@warnemuender-woche.com

Segelanweisung | Sailing Instructions

Diese Segelanweisungen gelten für:• Warnemünde-Cup• 2 Up & down • hanseboot Rund Bornholm• Bäderregatta

1. Regeln1.1. Die Regatten unterliegen den Regeln, wie sie in den Wettfahrtregeln - Segeln definiert sind.1.2. Im Speziellen gelten: Die Ordnungsvorschriften des DSV, die IMS Regeln, ORC Vermessungsregeln, Segelanweisungen, diese Ausschreibung ISAF Offshore Special Regulations 2014-2015.Ergänzend gilt: Das mit vier gelben Tonnen gekennzeich-nete Fischereischutzgebiet vor Nienhagen (westlich von Warnemünde) ist Hindernis im Sinne der Regeln und darf nicht durchsegelt werden.1.3. Bei Sprachkonflikten ist im Zweifelsfall der englische Text maßgebend. Bei den Ordnungsvorschriften des DSV ist der Deutsche Text maßgebend.

2. Bekanntmachungen an die TeilnehmerBekanntmachungen an die Teilnehmer werden an den offi-ziellen Tafeln ausgehängt. Diese befinden sich neben dem Race Office Mittelmole.

3. Änderungen der SegelanweisungenJede Änderung der Segelanweisungen wird spätestens zum Zeitpunkt des Skippers Meeting der Wettfahrt ausgehängt. Änderungen in der Ansetzung der Wettfahrten werden je-doch bis 20.00 Uhr des Tages, bevor sie in Kraft treten, aus-gehängt.

4. Signale an Land4.1. Signale an Land werden am Flaggenmast im Hafen Mittelmole gesetzt.4.2. Signale, die nur die Seeregatten betreffen, werden über einer grauen Flagge gesetzt.

5. Zeitplan der Wettfahrten

1. Rules1.1. The regattas will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing.1.2 Furthermore the following will apply: German national prescriptions of the DSV, the IMS rules, the ORC rating rules, the sailing instructions, this notice of race the ISAF Offshore Special Regulations 2014-2015.Please note: The fishing area, marked with four yellow buoys in front of Nienhagen (west of Warnemünde) is an obstruction. It is prohibited to sail through it.

1.3. If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take precedence. In the prescriptions of the DSV, the German version shall prevail.

2. Notice to competitorsNotices to competitors will be posted on the official notice boards located beside the race office.

3. Changes to Sailing InstructionsAny change to the sailing instructions will be posted latest at the time of the skippers meeting of the race, except that any change to the schedule of races will be posted by 20.00 h on the day before it will take effect.

4. Signals made Ashore4.1. Signals made ashore will be displayed at the flag poles in harbour Mittelmole.4.2. Signals only applying for offshore are displayed over a grey flag.

6. Klassenflaggen

Für die Seekreuzergruppen gelten als Klassenzeichen die Zahlenwimpel des internationalen Signalbuches. Die Grup-pen werden bei der Anmeldung bekannt gegeben. Alle in der Wettfahrt befindlichen Seekreuzer müssen den Zahlen-wimpel ihrer Gruppe am Achterstag führen.

7. Wettfahrtgebiete | Kurse und Bahnmarken

7.1. Anhang 2 zeigt die Lage der Wettfahrtgebiete.7.2. Für die Wettfahrt “Warnemünde-Cup” wird eine Kopie der Kurse und Bahnmarken für jedes Boot bei der Steuer-mannsbesprechung bereitgehalten und eine am offiziellen Brett für Bekanntmachungen ausgehängt. Der Start erfolgt im Wettfahrtgebiet „Bravo“.7.3. Für die Wettfahrten „ Up & Downs” wird im Wettfahrt-gebiet „Charly“ (siehe Anhang 2) Kurs 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 oder 9 von Anhang 1 gesegelt7.4.1. Kurs „hanseboot Rund Bornholm“ ist:Start MittelmoleRunde Bornholm ohne RichtungsangabeZiel Mittelmole7.4.2. Zusätzlich gilt:Der südliche Tonnenstrich des Verkehrstrennungsgebietes „Kadettrinne“ darf nicht durchsegelt werden. Zweistündlich ist die jeweilige Position in ein Logbuch einzutragen. Au-ßerdem sind folgende Zeitpunkte festzuhalten: Passieren Leuchtturm Dueodde in rechtweisender Peilung 360° und Leuchtturm Hammerodde in rechtweisender Peilung 180°. Das ausgefüllte Formblatt für die Logbucheintragungen ist vom Schiffsführer unterschrieben bis spätestens eine Stun-de nach Zieldurchgang bei der Wettfahrtleitung abzugeben. Etwa drei Seemeilen vor dem Ziel muss über den UKW-Ar-beitskanal (69) bei der Wettfahrtleitung eingecheckt wer-den. Während der Dunkelheit muss beim Zieldurchgang die Segelnummer im Großsegel angestrahlt werden.7.5. Kurs “Bäderregatta” ist:Start MittelmoleFür die Wettfahrt “Bäderregatta” wird eine Kopie der Kurse und Bahnmarken für jedes Boot bei der Steuermannsbe-sprechung bereitgehalten und eine am offiziellen Brett für Bekanntmachungen ausgehängt.Ziel Mittelmole

8. Der Start

8.1. Wettfahrten „Up & Downs” und „Warnemünde – Cup“:Die Startlinie ist zwischen einer Stange mit einer orangen Flagge auf dem Startschiff auf der Steuerbordseite und ei-ner Startbegrenzungsboje mit einer orangen Flagge auf der Backbordseite der Linie.

8.2. Wettfahrten hanseboot Rund Bornholm und Bäder-regatta: Die Startlinie ist die Linie zwischen einer gelben Stange auf der Mittelmole und der grünen Fahrwasserton-ne Nr. 19. Diese Linie ist von Süd nach Nord zu durchsegeln.

6. Class flags The numeral pendant of the International Signal Code will be used as class flag for the sea cruisers groups. The groups will be published at the registration. All cruisers shall dis-play the numeral pendant of their group on the backstay during the race.

7. Racing Areas | Courses and Marks

7.1. Attachment 2 shows the location of racing areas.7.2. For race “Warnemünde-Cup” a copy of the courses and marks will be available for each boat and will also posted at the official notice board at the time of the skippers mee-ting. Start is in racing area “Bravo”.

7.3. For races “Up & Downs” in racing area „Charly“ (see Appendix 2) course 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 or 9 of Appendix 1 will be sailed.7.4.1. Course Race “hanseboot Rund Bornholm” is:Start Mittelmoleround Bornholm without directionFinish Mittelmole7.4.2. Additional applies:The southern line of traffic separation “Kadettrinne” shall not be crossed. The position is to be noted in the logbook every two hours. Additionally following times are to be logged: Passing lighthouse Dueodde with bearing 360° true, passing lighthouse Hammerodde with bearing 180° true. The form for recording the positions of the logbook shall be signed by the person in charge and delivered to the race committee latest one hour after finishing. Boats shall call the race committee 3 miles off the finishing line by VHF working channel (69) for checking in. Main sail shall be illuminated if the finish line is crossed during the dark-ness.

7.5. Course Race “Bäderregatta” is:Start MittelmoleFor race “Bäderregatta” a copy of the courses and marks will be available for each boat and will also posted at the official notice board at the time of the skippers meeting.Finish Mittelmole

8. The Start

8.1. Races „Up & Downs“ and „Warnemünde – Cup“:The starting line will be between a pole displaying a oran-ge flag on the race committee boat at the starboard end and a starting mark with a orange flag at the port end of the line.

8.2. Races hanseboot Rund Bornholm and Bäderregatta: The starting line will be between a yellow pole on the Mit-telmole and the green buoy with the number 19 of Warne-münde water way. It is to be passed from south to north.

8.3. Boats whose warning signal has not been made shall avoid the starting area.8.4. Boats failing to start within 10 minutes after their st-arting signal will be scored DNS without a hearing. (This changes rule A4.1).

9. Finish9.1. The finishing line of the races hanseboot Rund Born-holm and Baederregatta will be between a yellow pole on the Mittelmole in Warnemuende and the green buoy with the number 19 of Warnemuende water way.It is to be passed from north to south.9.2. The finishing-line of all other races will be between a pole displaying an orange flag on the race committee boat at the starboard end and a starting mark with a orange flag at the port end of the line..

10. Penalty SystemA boat may take a One-Turn Penalty when she may have broken a rule of Part 2, Rule 31 or Rule 42 while Racing. However, if a boat may have broken a rule of Part 2 within the zone of a rounding mark or finishing mark, the penalty that may be taken is a Two-Turn Penalty. This changes RRS 44.1.

11. Time LimitsFor race „hanseboot Rund Bornholm“ applies: Boats failing to finish within 10th July 2014, 13.00 h will be scored DNF without a hearing. This changes RRS 35, A4 and A5. If no boat of a starting group finishes within this time limit, the finishing time for this starting group will be the time passing Dueodde.

12. Protests12.1. Protest forms are available at the race office (or for “hanseboot Rund Bornholm” if the race office is closed, from the Race Committee at the finish). Protests and re-quests for redress or reopening shall be delivered there within the appropriate time limit.

12.2. Protest time limit shall begin with the finish of the protesting boat and shall end after 90 minutes.12.3. Notices of protests by the Race Committee or the Jury will be posted before the protest time limit to inform boats under RR 61.1(b).12.4. Hearings will be opened if possible in the order of protest receipt. Time and order of hearings will be posted as soon as possible.12.5. The parties involved and witnesses are required to be available for the hearing promptly at the advertise time and place.12.6. The penalty for a breach of rule 24.1, 55 or SI 14 may be less than disqualification if the protest committee or jury so decides.

8.3. Boote, deren Ankündigungssignal noch nicht gegeben wurde, müssen sich vom Startgebiet fernhalten.8.4. Boote, die nicht 10 Minuten nach ihrem Startsignal gestartet sind, werden ohne Protestverhandlung als nicht gestartet gewertet. (Änderung Regel A4.1)

9. Ziel9.1. Die Ziellinie der Wettfahrten hanseboot Rund Born-holm und Bäderregatta ist die Linie zwischen einer gelben Stange auf der Mittelmole in Warnemünde und der grünen Fahrwassertonne Nr. 19. Diese Linie ist von Nord nach Süd zu durchsegeln.9.2. Die Ziellinie aller anderen Wettfahrten ist zwischen einer Stange mit einer orangen Flagge auf dem Startschiff auf der Steuerbordseite und einer Startbegrenzungsboje mit einer orangen Flagge auf der Backbordseite der Linie.

10. StrafsystemEin Boot kann eine Eine-Drehung-Strafe durchführen, wenn es möglicherweise gegen eine Regel von Teil 2, Regel 31 oder Regel 42 verstoßen hat. Wenn es jedoch möglicher-weise gegen eine Regel von Teil 2 innerhalb der Zone einer zu rundenden Bahnmarke oder Zielbahnmarke ver-stoßen hat, ist die anzuwendende Strafe die Zwei-Drehun-gen-Strafe. Dieses ändert RRS 44.1.

11. ZeitlimitsFür die Wettfahrt hanseboot Rund Bornholm gilt: Boote, die nicht bis 10. Juli 2014 13.00 Uhr durchs Ziel gegangen sind, werden ohne Verhandlung DNF gewertet. Das ändert die Regeln 35, A4 und A5.Erreicht kein Boot einer Startgruppe das Zeitlimit, so wird für diese Startgruppe die Zeit bei Dueodde als Zeit des Ziel-durchgangs verwendet.

12. Proteste12.1. Protestformulare sind im Wettfahrtbüro (oder für „hanseboot Rund Bornholm“, wenn das Wettfahrtbüro ge-schlossen ist, bei der Wettfahrtleitung am Ziel) erhältlich. Proteste und Anträge auf Wiedergutmachung oder Wieder-aufnahme müssen dort innerhalb der entsprechenden Frist eingereicht werden.12.2. Die Protestfrist beginnt mit dem Zieldurchgang des protestierenden Bootes und dauert 90 Minuten.12.3. Benachrichtigungen über Proteste der Wettfahrtlei-tung oder der Jury werden innerhalb der Protestfrist aus-gehängt um die Boote gemäß WR 61.1(b) zu informieren.12.4. Proteste werden, wenn möglich, in der Reihenfolge des Eingangs verhandelt. Beginn und Reihenfolge der Ver-handlungen werden so bald wie möglich ausgehängt.12.5. Protestparteien und Zeugen haben sich unverzüglich zur angegebenen Zeit vor dem Verhandlungsraum bereit-zuhalten.12.6. Die Strafe für einen Verstoß gegen Regel 24.1, 55 oder Segelanweisung 14 kann geringer als eine Disqualifi-kation sein, wenn das Schiedsgericht bzw. die Jury so ent-scheidet.

12.7. Das Schiedsgericht ist gemäß WR 91(a) ein Ausschuss oder eine Internationale Jury. Entscheidungen der Internati-onalen Jury sind gemäß WR 70.5 nicht berufungsfähig.

13. Anzahl Wettfahrten und Wertung13.1.1 Boote die nach ORC gemeldet haben, werden nicht nach Yardstick gewertet und umgekehrt.13.1.2. Bei zu geringer Anzahl an ORC International Mel-dungen, werden diese Boote nach ORC Club in den ORC Club Gruppen gewertet. 13.1.3. ORC International und ORC Club Boote werden nach ihrem festen TOT-Offshore-Wert (time on time), bei den Up ans Downs TOT-Inshore gewertet.13.1.4. Bei der Yardstickwertung wird die Yardsticktabelle des Segler-Verbands Mecklenburg Vorpommern zu Grunde gelegt.13.1.5 Weicht ein Boot von der beim Yardstickausschuss hinterlegten Deklaration oder dem Klassen-Standard ab, muss es die Abweichung im Einzelnen mit der Meldung beschreiben. 13.1.6 Änderungen in der Yardstickzahl zu Gunsten des Teilnehmers (z.B. Vergütung für Segeln ohne Spinnaker) werden nach Meldeschluss nicht mehr angenommen. Das gleiche gilt für Nachmeldungen.13.1.7 Die Aufteilung in Gruppen erfolgt durch die Wett-fahrtleitung.13.1.8 Soll das Boot in die Wertung „schnellstes Charter-schiff“ gehen, ist dies bei der Meldung anzugeben und der Chartervertrag bei der Anmeldung vorzulegen.13.1.9. Für die Wertung „Beste Jugendmannschaft“ bei hanseboot Rund Bornholm darf die Hälfte der Mannschaft das 21. Lebensjahr noch nicht vollendet haben. (Mann-schaftsliste ist bei der Anmeldung einzureichen).13.1.10. Bei Anmeldung von mind. 3 Yachten erfolgt bei der Wettfahrt „Rund Bornholm“ eine double-hand-Wertung.

13.2. Gesamtwertungen 13.2.1 WARNEMÜNDER WOCHE CUP der HansebootFür die Gesamtwertung gelten die folgenden Multiplikato-ren:• Warnemünde-Cup 1,0• Up & Down 0,5 (für jede der beiden Wettfahrten)• hanseboot Rund Bornholm 2,0Für die Gesamtwertung WARNEMÜNDER WOCHE CUP wer-den die Teilnehmer nach ORC in einer eigenen Wertung erfasst. 12.7. The Protest Committee is in accordance to RRS 91(a) a Committee or an International Jury. The decisions of the International Jury will be final as provided in RRS 70.5.

13. Number of races and Scoring13.1.1 Boats entered with ORC shall not be scored with Yardstick and vice versa.13.1.2. In case the number of registered ORC International boats is to small, the participating yachts will be scored by ORC Club in the ORC Club classes. 13.1.3. ORC International boats and ORC Club will be scored according their fixed TOT-Offshore (time on time) aan at the Up and Downs TOT-Inshore.13.1.4. For Yardstick the yardstick table of the Segler-Ver-band Mecklenburg Vorpommern will be used.

13.1.5 Boats differing from the declaration at the yardstick-committee or the class standard shall specify the change with her entry.

13.1.6 Changes of the yardstick factor in favour of the boat (for example for sailing without spinnaker) are not accep-ted after entry closing date. The same applies for late ent-ries.13.1.7. The nomination of race groups will be organized by the Race Committee.13.1.8. For “charter” boat scoring, please mention “char-ter” on the entry form and show your charter contract at registration.13.1.9. For scoring for the “Youth cup”: Half of the crew shall be younger than 21 years (Please show your crew list at registration).

13.1.10. For the race “hanseboot Rund Bornholm” a double hand scoring will take place starting from three entries.

13.2. 14. Ausrüstungs- und VermessungskontrollenEin Boot oder die Ausrüstung können jederzeit in Bezug auf die Einhaltung der Klassenvorschriften und der Segelanwei-sungen überprüft werden.

15. Sicherheitsbestimmungen15.1. Zur Startkontrolle müssen sich alle Boote vor ihrem Ankündigungssignal mit gesetztem Großsegel in der Nähe des Kopfes der Mittelmole aufhalten, bzw. bei der Wett-fahrt Warnemünde –Cup und 2 Up & Down das Startschiff passieren.15.2. Boote, die in der Wettfahrt aufgeben, müssen dies sofort der Wettfahrtleitung oder dem Regattabüro melden. Die Telefonnummer des Regattabüros wird an der offiziel-len Tafel ausgehängt.15.3. Die Wettfahrt hanseboot Rund Bornholm wird nach Sicherheitskategorie 2 durchgeführt. (Ausnahmen sind nach Klassenvorschriften und Konstruktionsbedingungen nur mit einer schriftlichen Erlaubnis durch die Wettfahrt-leitung möglich) Zeitpunkt des Sicherheitscheck wird durch Aushang bekannt gegeben.15.4. Sicherheit im Gebiet des Seekanals Warnemünde: Die Verkehrsbestimmungen sind unbedingt zu beachten (KVR und Seeschifffahrtsstraßen Ordnung) Den Anweisungen der Wasserpolizei ist Folge zu leisten.

16. Funktionsboote16.1. Boote der Wettfahrtleitung führen eine weiße Flagge mit den Buchstaben „RC“ und eine grauen Flagge.16.2. Boote der Jury führen eine weiße Flagge mit den Buchstaben „JURY“.16.3. Das Boot des Vermessers führt eine weiße Flagge mit den Buchstaben „MEASUREMENT“.16.4. Presseboote führen eine weiße Flagge mit dem Buch-staben „PRESS“.

17. FunkverkehrEin in einer Wettfahrt befindliches Boot darf weder Funkver-kehr geben noch annehmen, der nicht für alle Boote ver-fügbar ist. Dies gilt nicht für „hanseboot Rund Bornholm“ Zwischen Booten und der Wettfahrtleitung ist Funkverkehr erlaubt. Der Arbeitskanal ist 69, Eine Änderung des Kanals wird auf der Steuermannsbesprechung bekannt gegeben und an der offiziellen Tafel ausgehängt.“

14. Equipment and measurement checksA boat or equipment may be inspected at any time for compliance with the class rules and sailing instructions.

15. Safety Regulations15.1. For “check in” prior the warning signal each boat shall stay with main sail set near the head of “Mittelmole” re-spectively pass the starting vessel in race Warnemünde – Cup and 2 Up& Down.

15.2. Boats retiring from a race shall report this immedia-tely to the race committee or the race office. The race office telephone number will be posted on the official board.

15.3. The race hanseboot Rund Bornholm will be conducted according to safety category 2. (Exceptions in accordance to class-rules and design features are possible only with written permission of the race committee) Time of safety checks will be posted at the official notice board.

15.4. Safety in the area of the sea channel Warnemünde: Pay attention to maritime regulations (Collision Regulati-ons and Seeschifffahrtsstraßen Ordnung) Instructions of the water police must be followed.

1. Regeln1.1. Die Regatten unterliegen den Regeln, wie sie in den Wettfahrtregeln – Segeln (WR) definiert sind.1.2. Bei Sprachkonflikten ist im Zweifelsfall der englische Text maßgebend. Bei den Ordnungsvorschriften des DSV ist der Deutsche Text maßgebend.1.3. Die Limitierung der 420-Klassenregel, nur einen Satz Segel zu benutzen, ist außer Kraft gesetzt.1.4. Boote, die nicht in einer Wettfahrt sind, dürfen nicht durch andere Kurse segeln, auf denen Boote segeln und Bahnmarken ausgelegt sind.

2. Bekanntmachungen an die Teilnehmer2.1. Bekanntmachungen an die Teilnehmer werden an der offiziellen Tafel ausgehängt. Diese befinden sich in der Nähe des Regattabüros Mittelmole. Für Bootsklassen, die in Hohe Düne liegen, gibt es Kopien der Aushänge im Ha-fen Hohe Düne.

3. Änderungen der Segelanweisungen3.1. Jede Änderung der Segelanweisungen einschließlich der Bahn-Zuordnung wird vor 9.00 Uhr des Tages, an dem sie in Kraft tritt, ausgehängt. Änderungen im Zeitplan der Wettfahrten werden jedoch bis 20.00 Uhr des Tages, bevor sie in Kraft treten, ausgehängt.

4. Signale an Land4.1. Signale an Land werden am Flaggenmasten im Hafen Mittelmole gesetzt. Signale für Klassen, die in Hohe Düne liegen, werden auch am Flaggenmast in Hohe Düne ge-setzt.4.2. Wenn die Flagge AP an Land gesetzt wird, ist ‘1 Minu-te’ durch ‘nicht weniger als 60 Minuten’ in dem Wettfahrt-signal AP zu ersetzen. Dies ändert die Wettfahrtsignale AP.

4.3. Wird Flagge Y an Land gesetzt, gilt Regel 40 unbe-schränkt auf dem Wasser. Das ändert das Vorwort zum Teil4.4. Werden die Signalflaggen AP über H an Land gezeigt, so bedeutet dies „Boote dürfen nicht den Hafen verlas-sen, Warten Sie auf weitere Instruktionen.“ Dies ändert die Wettfahrtsignale AP über H.

1. Rules1.1. The regattas will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).1.2. If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take precedence. In the prescriptions of the DSV, the German version shall prevail.1.3. The 420-class rules limitation to use only one set of sails is suspended.1.4. Boats not racing shall not sail on other course areas where marks are placed and boats are sailing.

2. Notice to competitors2.1. Notices to competitors will be posted on the official notice board located near race office Mittelmole. For classes with mooring in Hohe Düne are copies in the harbour Hohe Düne.

3. Changes to Sailing Instructions3.1. Any change to the sailing instructions including the dedicated Course Area will be posted before 9.00 h on the day it will take effect, except that any change to the sche-dule of races will be posted by 20.00 h on the day before it will take effect.

4. Signals made Ashore4.1. Signals made ashore will be displayed at the flag pole in harbour Mittelmole. Signals for classes in Hohe Düne will be also displayed on flag pole Hohe Düne.

4.2. When flag AP is displayed ashore, ‘1 minute’ is repla-ced with ‘not less than 60 minutes’ in the race signal AP. This changes race signals AP.

4.3. When flag Y is displayed ashore, rule 40 applies at all times while afloat. This changes the Part 4 preamble.4.4. Flag AP over H displayed ashore means ‘Boats shall not leave the harbour. Wait for further instructions.’ This changes race signals AP over H.

5.2. Pro Tag kann ohne vorherige Anzeige an Land eine zusätzliche Wettfahrt gesegelt werden, sofern keine Klasse dadurch mehr als eine Wettfahrt vor dem Zeitplan ist.5.3. Um die Boote darauf aufmerksam zu machen, dass eine Wettfahrt oder eine Folge von Wettfahrten bald be-ginnt, wird die orangefarbene Startlinien-Flagge mit einem Schallsignal mindestens fünf Minuten vor dem Ankündi-gungssignal gesetzt.5.4. Auf allen Bahnen ist die geplante Zeit für das Ankün-digungssignal der ersten Wettfahrt jedes Tages 11.00 Uhr.5.5. Am letzten Tag der Regatta wird kein Ankündigungssi-gnal nach 14.00 Uhr gegeben, für X99 Goldcup 16.00 Uhr.

6. Klassenflaggen6.1. Es werden die offiziellen Klassenzeichen auf weißem Grund benutzt.

7. Wettfahrtgebiete7.1. Anlage 2 zeigt die Lage der Wettfahrtgebiete.

8. Kurse8.1. Die Diagramme in Anhang 1 zeigen die Kurse mit den angenäherten Winkeln zwischen den Bahnschenkeln, die Reihenfolge wie die Bahnmarken zu passieren sind und an welcher Seite sie zu lassen sind.8.2. Spätestens zum Ankündigungssignal wird die Wett-fahrtleitung auf dem Startschiff den ungefähren Kompass-kurs des ersten Bahnschenkels anzeigen.8.3. Das Startschiff wird folgende Signale zeigen, um den zu segelnden Kurs anzuzeigen:8.3.a. Schwarze Tafel mit weißen Zahlen: der zu segelnde Kurs.8.3.b. Weiße Tafel mit schwarzen Zahlen: Der ungefähre Kompasskurs zur Bahnmarke 1.8.3.c. Gelbe Tafel mit schwarzem Buchstaben „L“: Langer Kurs.8.3.d. Falls Trapezkurse gesegelt werden:• Gelbe Tafel mit schwarzem Buchstaben „O“: Outer Loop• Gelbe Tafel mit schwarzem Buchstaben „I“: Inner Loop8.4. 9. Bahnmarken9.1. Farbe und Form der Bahnmarken werden an der offizi-ellen Tafel für Bekanntmachungen gezeigt.9.2. Die Offset Marke 1a kann eine Boje mit gelber Flagge sein.9.3. Buchstaben und Nummern auf den Bahnmarken ha-ben keine Bedeutung.9.4. Start- und Zielbahnmarken sind ein Boot der Wettfahrt-leitung oder eine Spierentonne mit orangefarbener Flagge.

10. Der Start10.1. Die Startlinie ist zwischen einer Stange mit einer oran-gen Flagge auf dem Startschiff auf der Steuerbordseite und entweder einer Startbahnmarke mit einer orangen Flagge oder einer Stange mit einer orangen Flagge auf einem Boot der Wettfahrtleitung auf der Backbordseite der Linie.

5.2. One extra race per day may be sailed without additio-nal announcement ashore, provided that no class becomes more than one race ahead of schedule.5.3. To alert boats that a race or sequence of races will begin soon, the orange starting line flag will be displayed with one sound at least five minutes before a warning si-gnal is made.

5.4. On each racing area the scheduled time of the warning signal for the first race each day is 11.00 h.5.5. On the last day of the regatta no warning signal will be made after 14.00 h, for X99 Goldcup 16.00 h.

6. Class flags6.1. The official class signs on white ground will be used.

7. Racing Areas7.1. Attachment 2 shows the location of racing areas.

8. Courses8.1. The diagrams in Attachment 1 show the courses, in-cluding the approximate angles between legs, the order in which marks are to be passed, and the side on which each mark is to be left.8.2. No later than the warning signal, the race committee starting vessel will display the approximate compass bea-ring of the first leg.8.3. The starting vessel will show the following signals to designate the course:8.3.a. Black board with white number: the course to be sailed.8.3.b. White board with black numbers: the approx. com-pass bearing to mark „1“.8.3.c. Yellow board with black letter „L“: Long course

8.3.d. If trapezoid courses will be sailed:• Yellow board with black letter „O“: outer loop• Yellow board with black letter „I“: inner loop8.4 If the diagram shows a gate, the gate may be replaced by a single mark to be left to port.

9. Marks9.1. Colour and shape of the marks will be displayed on the official notice board.9.2. The offset mark 1a may be a buoy with a yellow flag.

9.3. Letters and numbers on the marks are not relevant.

9.4. Starting and finishing marks are a boat of the race committee or a spar buoy with an orange flag.

10. The Start10.1. The starting line will be between a staff displaying an orange flag on the race committee boat at the starboard end and either a starting mark with an orange flag or a staff displaying an orange flag on a race committee boat at the port end of the line.

10.2. Nach dem Ankündigungssignal einer Klasse müssen alle anderen Boote einen Abstand von mindestens 100 m zur Startlinie einhalten.10.3. Ein Boot das später als 4 min. nach seinem Startsignal startet wird DNS gewertet. Dies ändert WR A.4.1.

11. Änderung des nächsten Bahnschenkels11.1. Zur Änderung des nächsten Bahnschenkels eines Kur-ses wird die Wettfahrtleitung eine neue Bahnmarke dersel-ben Farbe und Form auslegen (oder die Ziellinie verlegen) und die ursprüngliche Bahnmarke sobald als möglich ent-fernen.11.2. Bei einer Änderung der Lage der Luv-Bahnmarke auf Kursen mit Offsetmarken wird keine (neue) Offsetmarke gelegt.

12. Ziel12.1. Die Ziellinie ist zwischen einer Stange mit einer oran-gen Flagge auf dem Zielschiff auf der Steuerbordseite und entweder einer Zielbegrenzungsboje mit einer orangen Flagge oder einer Stange mit einer orangen Flagge auf ei-nem Boot der Wettfahrtleitung auf der Backbordseite der Linie.12.2. Wird auf dem Zielschiff die Flagge „L“ gezeigt, bedeu-tet dies. „Eine weitere Wettfahrt wird sobald als möglich gestartet. (Dies ändert WR „Wettfahrtsignale“)

13. Strafsystem13.1. Anhang P gilt wie durch 13.2 geändert.13.2. Für Kielboote, 29er und A-Cat ist WR 44.1 und WR P 2.1 dahin gehend geändert, dass die Zwei-Drehungen-Strafe durch die Ein-Drehung-Strafe ersetzt ist.13.3. Pfeifsystem:Um Boote zu bestärken, eine Strafe auf dem Wasser anzu-nehmen, können Mitglieder der Jury ein Pfeifsignal geben, wenn sie glauben, einen Regelverstoß gesehen zu haben.

13.4. Wenn Flagge U als Vorbereitungssignal gesetzt war, darf ein Boot mit keinem Teil seines Rumpfes, der Besat-zung oder Ausrüstung in der letzten Minute vor seinem Startsignal in dem Dreieck sein, das aus den Enden der Startlinie und der ersten Bahnmarke gebildet wird. Ver-stößt ein Boot gegen diese Regel und wird es erkannt, wird Regel 29.1nicht angewandt und es wird ohne Verhand-lung disqualifiziert (UFD), jedoch nicht wenn die Wettfahrt erneut gestartet oder gesegelt oder verschoben oder vor dem Startsignal abgebrochen wird. Das ändert Regel 26, 29.1 und A 11.

14. Sollzeit und Zeitlimits 14.1 Die Sollzeit beträgt 60 Minuten, 29er 30 Minuten. Das nicht Einhalten der Sollzeit ist kein Grund für einen Antrag auf Wiedergutmachung. Das ändert Regel 62.1(a).14.2 Wenn kein Boot die Bahnmarke 1 innerhalb 30, 29er 15 Minuten, passiert hat wird die Wettfahrt abgebrochen.14.3. Wenn kein Boot die Ziellinie innerhalb 90 Minuten, 29er 45 Minuten, erreicht hat, wird die Wettfahrt abgebrochen.

10.2. After the warning signal of a class all other boats shall stay in distance of at least 100 m to the starting line.10.3. A boat starting later than 4 minutes after her starting signal will be scored DNS. This changes rule A4.1.

11. Change of the next leg of the course11.1. To change the next leg of the course, the race com-mittee will lay a new mark of the same colour and shape (or move the finishing line) and remove the original mark as soon as practicable.11.2. If there is a change of the position of the windward mark on courses with offset marks there will be no (new) offset mark.

12. Finish12.1. The finishing line will be between a staff with an orange flag on the race committee boat at the starboard end and either a finishing mark with an orange flag or a staff displaying an orange flag on a race committee boat at the port end of the line.

12.2. Flag „L“ displayed on the finishing vessel means: “A further race will be started as soon as possible.”. (Change RRS: “Race Signals”)

13. Penalty System13.1. Appendix P will apply as changed by 13.2.13.2. For keel boats, 29er and A-Cat rule 44.1 and P2.1 is changed so that the Two-Turns Penalty is replaced by the One-Turn Penalty.13.3. Whistle System:To encourage boats to take penalties afloat, jury members may blow a whistle when they believe to have seen any break of a rule.

13.4. If flag U has been displayed as the preparatory signal, no part of a boat’s hull, crew, or equipment shall be in the triangle formed by the ends of the starting line and the first mark during the last minute before her starting signal. If a boat breaks this rule and is identified, Rule 29.1 will not apply and she shall be disqualified without a hearing (UFD) but not if the race is restarted or resailed or postponed or abandoned before the starting signal. This changes rule 26, 29.1 and A 11.

14. Target Time and Time Limits14.1. Target time is 60 minutes, 29er 30 minutes. Failure to meet the target time will not be grounds for redress. This changes rule 62.1(a).14.2 If no boat has passed Mark 1 within 30 minutes, 29er 15 minutes, the race will be abandoned.14.3. If no boat has reached the finishing line within 90 minutes, 29er 45 minutes, the race will be abandoned.

14.4. Boote, die nicht innerhalb von 30 Minuten, 29er 15Minu-ten, nachdem das erste Boot ihrer Klasse die Bahn abgesegelt hat und durchs Ziel gegangen ist, werden ohne Verhandlung DNF gewertet. Das ändert die Regeln 35, A4 und A5.

15. Proteste15.1. Protestformulare sind im Wettfahrtbüro erhältlich. Pro-teste und Anträge auf Wiedergutmachung oder Wiederauf-nahme müssen dort innerhalb der entsprechenden Frist ein-gereicht werden.15.2. Die Protestzeit beträgt 75 Minuten nach Zieldurchgang des letzten Bootes der Klasse in der letzten Tageswettfahrt bzw. nach deren Abbruch oder Ende der Startverschiebung15.3. Benachrichtigungen über Proteste der Wettfahrtleitung oder der Jury werden innerhalb der Protestfrist ausgehängt um die Boote gemäß WR 61.1(b) zu informieren.15.4. Proteste werden, wenn möglich, in der Reihenfolge des Eingangs verhandelt. Beginn und Reihenfolge der Verhand-lungen werden an der offiziellen Tafel spätestens 30 Minuten nach Ende der Protestfrist ausgehängt.15.5. Protestparteien und Zeugen haben sich unverzüglich zur angegebenen Zeit vor dem Verhandlungsraum bereitzuhalten.15.6. Verstöße gegen die SA 21, 22, 23 sind kein Grund für einen Protest eines Bootes. Dies ändert Regel 60.1(a). Strafen für Verstöße gegen diese Anweisungen können geringer als eine Disqualifikation sein, wenn das Schiedsgericht bzw. die Jury so entscheidet.15.7. Die Strafe für einen Regelverstoß gegen WR 24.1, 55 SA 1.4 und SA 23 kann geringer als eine Disqualifikation sein, wenn das Schiedsgericht bzw. die Jury so entscheidet.15.8. In Abänderung von WR 66 werden am letzten Wettfahrt-tag Anträge von Booten auf Wiederaufnahme einer Protest-verhandlung nicht angenommen,a) wenn die Partei, die den Antrag stellt, am Tag vorher von der Entscheidung informiert war,b) später als 30 Minuten nach Verkündigung der Entscheidung. 15.9. Proteste (auch Vermessungsproteste) oder Einwendun-gen über Tatsachen, deren Feststellung bereits an den vorher-gehenden Tagen zumutbar gewesen wäre, werden am Tag der letzten Wettfahrt nicht mehr angenommen.15.10. Das Schiedsgericht ist gemäß WR 91(a) ein Ausschuss oder eine Internationale Jury. Entscheidungen der Internatio-nalen Jury sind gemäß WR 70.4 nicht berufungsfähig. 16. Wertung16.1. Werden 4 oder weniger gültige Wettfahrten gesegelt, ist die Wertung der Serie eines Bootes gleich der Summe aller Wertungen16.2. Werden 5 oder mehr gültige Wettfahrten gesegelt, wird die schlechteste Wertung gestrichen.

17. Ausrüstungs- und Vermessungskontrollen17.1. Ein Boot oder die Ausrüstung können jederzeit in Bezug auf die Einhaltung der Klassenvorschriften und der Segelan-weisungen überprüft werden. Auf dem Wasser kann ein Boot durch einen Ausrüstungskontrolleur oder Vermesser der Wett-fahrtleitung aufgefordert werden, sich sofort für eine Überprü-fung zu einer bestimmten Stelle zu begeben.

14.4. Boats failing to finish within 30 minutes, 29er 15 minu-tes after the first boat of her class sails the course and finishes will be scored DNF without a hearing. This changes RRS 35, A4 and A5.

15. Protests15.1. Protest forms are available at the race office. Protests and requests for redress or reopening shall be delivered there within the appropriate time limit.15.2. For each class the protest time limit is 75 minutes af-ter the last boat has finished the last race of the day or after abandoning or postponing this race to the next day. 15.3. Notices of protests by the Race Committee or the Jury will be posted before the protest time limit to inform boats under RRS 61.1(b)

15.4. Hearings will be opened if possible in the order of pro-test receipt. Time and order of hearings will be posted on the notice board not later than 30 minutes after the end of the protest time limit.15.5. The parties involved and witnesses are required to be available for the hearing promptly at the advertise time and place.15.6. Breaches of SI 21, 22, 23 will not be subject for a pro-test by a boat. This changes rule 60.1(a). Penalties for these breaches may be less than disqualification if the protest com-mittee or jury so decides.15.7. The penalty for a breach of RRS 24.1, 55, SI 1.4 and SI 23 may be less than disqualification if the protest committee or jury so decides.15.8. On the last day of the regatta a request for reopening a hearing shall be delivereda) within the protest time limit if the party requesting reope-ning was informed of the decision on the previous day.b) no later than 30 minutes after the party requesting was informed of the decision on that day. This changes RRS 66.15.9. Protests (measurement protests incl.) or objections to facts whose ascertainment would have been reasonable the days before will not be accepted on the day of the last race.

15.10. The Protest Committee is in accordance to RRS 91(a) a Committee or an International Jury. The decisions of the Inter-national Jury will be final as provided in RRS 70.4.

16. Scoring16.1 When 4 or fewer races are completed the boats series score will be the total of her race scores.16.2 There is one discard if 5 or more races are completed.

17. Equipment and measurement checks17.1. A boat or equipment may be inspected at any time for compliance with the class rules and sailing instructions. On the water, a boat can be instructed by a race committee equip-ment inspector or measurer to proceed immediately to a de-signated area for inspection.

18. Ersetzen von Besatzung und Ausrüstung18.1. Steuermannswechsel ist nicht erlaubt. Das Ersetzen von Teilnehmern ist nur mit vorheriger schriftlicher Genehmigung der Wettfahrtleitung gestattet.18.2. Ersatz von defekter oder verlorener Ausrüstung, die Be-schränkungen der Klassenbestimmungen unterliegt, ist nur mit Genehmigung der Wettfahrtleitung erlaubt. Anträge müs-sen zum ersten zumutbaren Zeitpunkt gestellt werden.

19. Sicherheitsbestimmungen19.1. Jedes Boot muss vor seinem Ankündigungssignal eine Check-Linie zwischen dem Startschiff und einer Boje mit grüner Flagge auf dessen Steuerbordseite von Lee nach Luv durchsegeln, wenn eine solche gelegt ist.19.2. Boote die in der Wettfahrt aufgeben müssen dies sofort der Wettfahrtleitung oder dem Regattabüro melden. Die Te-lefonnummer des Regattabüros wird an der offiziellen Tafel ausgehängt.19.3. Bei besonderen Gefahrensituationen (Wetter, …) wer-den von der Wettfahrtleitung, zusammen mit oder nach den Signalen für Abbruch einer Wettfahrt, 3 grüne Sterne gefeuert. Dieses Signal wird von möglichst vielen Booten der Wettfahrt-leitung wiederholt.Dies bedeutet für segelnde Boote:Die Sicherheit von Besatzung und Steuermann hat Vorrang. Segeln Sie Ihr Boot in den nächstgelegenen Hafen.Für alle anderen im Regattagebiet befindlichen Boote:Beobachten Sie Ihre Umgebung und helfen Sie bei der Ber-gung von Besatzungen und Booten.19.4. Sicherheit im Gebiet des Seekanals Warnemünde:• Vorsicht: Starker Fährverkehr in der Schifffahrtsstraße, kreu-zen Sie diese auf dem kürzesten und sichersten Weg.• Verkehrsbestimmungen sind unbedingt zu beachten (KVR und Seeschifffahrtsstraßen Ordnung)• Den Anweisungen der Wasserpolizei und Funktionsbooten ist Folge zu leisten.

20. Werbung20.1. Vom Veranstalter gestellte Werbung ist gemäß Aushang an der Tafel für offizielle Bekanntmachungen anzubringen.

21. Funktionsboote21.1. Boote der Wettfahrtleitung führen eine weiße Flagge mit den Buchstaben „RC“ und zusätzlich eine Flagge in der Farbe ihrer Bahn.21.2. Boote der Jury führen eine weiße Flagge mit den Buch-staben „JURY“.21.3. Das Boot des Vermessers führt eine weiße Flagge mit den Buchstaben „MEASUREMENT“.21.4. Presseboote führen eine weiße Flagge mit dem Buch-staben „PRESS“.

17.2. For Participants of the International German Champion-ship as well as German open and Gold Cup of the X-00 class a control measurement will take place at the day before the first scheduled race. The location and the times will be displayed on the official notice board.

18. Replacement of Crew or Equipment18.1. Change of Helmsman is not permitted. Substitution of competitors will not be allowed without prior written approval of the race committee.18.2. Substitution of damaged or lost equipment limited by the class rules will not be allowed unless approved by the race committee. Request for substitution shall be made to the committee at the first reasonable opportunity.

19. Safety Regulations19.1. Boats shall pass from leeward to wind ward a check-line between the starting vessel and a mark with a green flag on the starboard end before their warning signal if such a line is laid.19.2. Boats that retires from a race shall report this immedi-ately to the race committee or the race office. The race office telephone number will be posted on the official board.19.3. In case of extremely dangerous situations (weather con-ditions, …) the race committee will fire, together with or after the signals for abandonment of races, 3 guns with green stars. This signal will be repeated by as many Race Committee ves-sels as possible.This means for racing boats:Safety first for crew and helmsman. Sail your boat in the safest way to the nearest harbour.This means for all other vessels in the area:Watch and give assistance in rescuing crews and boats.19.4. Safety in the area of the sea channel Warnemuende:• !!! Attention: Large Ferry-Traffic volume, cross the fairway in the shortest and safest way!!!• Pay attention to International Regulations for Preventing Col-lisions at Sea (IRPCAS)• Pay attention to Instructions of the water police and Official Boats.

20. Advertising20.1. Advertising supplied by the organizing authority shall be displayed as described on the official notice board.

21. Official Boats21.1. Boats of the race committee will display a white flag displaying „RC“ and a flag will the colour of their racing area.

21.2. Jury boats will display a white flag with the word „JURY“.

21.3. The boat of the measurer will display a white flag with „MEASUREMENT“.21.4. Press boats will display a white flag with „PRESS“.

Begleit- und Trainerboote müssen jede denkbare Hilfe Personen oder Booten in Gefahr geben.22.4. Begleit- und Trainerboote müssen den ihnen zugewiese-nen Liegeplatz behalten.22.5. Die Strafe für eine eventuelle Verletzung dieser Segelan-weisung wird von der Jury festgelegt.

23. Ordnung und Abfall23.1. Alle Boote, Trailer und Fahrzeuge müssen ausschließlich in den dafür vorgesehenen Bereichen abgestellt sein.23.2. Abfall muss an Land in die dafür vorgesehenen Behälter entsorgt werden.

24. Beschränkung „Aus dem Wasser nehmen“Kielboote dürfen während der Regatta nicht aus dem Wasser gehoben werden, außer entsprechend der vorher eingeholten schriftlichen Erlaubnis der Wettfahrtleitung.

25. FunkverkehrEin in einer Wettfahrt befindliches Boot darf weder Funkver-kehr geben noch annehmen, der nicht auch für alle anderen Boote verfügbar ist. Dies gilt auch für Mobiltelefone, WLAN etc.

26. Preise26.1. Art der Preise siehe Ausschreibung26.2. Jeder Teilnehmer, der einen Wanderpreis erhalten hat, verpflichtet sich, den Preis sicher aufzubewahren und an den Veranstalter ohne Verzögerung zurückzugeben. Er oder sie sind für jede Beschädigung oder Verlust verantwortlich. Es wird deswegen empfohlen, das Risiko durch eine Versiche-rung zu decken.26.3. Preise, die auf der Siegerehrung nicht vergeben werden, verbleiben bei den Organisatoren.

22. Support boats22.1. See NoR 12.22.2. Team leaders, coaches and other support personnel shall stay in a distance of at least 100 meters to any racing compe-titor, except when rendering assistance to a boat in danger at that boat’s request, or at the request of the race committee.

22.3. Support boats shall give all possible help to ANY person or vessel in danger or in need of outside assistance.22.4. Support boats shall be kept in their assigned places in the harbour.22.5. The Penalty (if) for an infringement of this SI will be defined and imposed by the Jury.

23. Parking and Trash Disposal23.1. Boats, trailers and cars shall be parked only in the pro-vided areas.23.2. Trash shall be placed ashore in trash containers.

24. Haul-Out restrictionsKeelboats shall not be hauled out during the regatta except with and according to the terms of prior written permission of the race committee.

25. Radio communicationA boat shall neither make radio transmissions while racing nor receive communications not available to all boats. This restric-tion also applies to mobile telephones, WLAN, etc.

26. Prizes26.1. Kind of prizes see NoR26.2. Any competitor receiving a perpetual trophy undertakes to keep it in his or her safe custody and to return it on request to the organizers without delay. He or she shall be responsible for any damage or loss sustained while such trophy is in his or her safekeeping. It is therefore recommended to cover this risk by adequate insurance.26.3. Prizes not claimed at the Prize Giving Ceremony will re-main with the organizers.

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS

CO-ORDINATING AUTHORITY EurILCA: the International Laser Class Association (ILCA) European Region, www.eurilca.org e.mail info@eurilca.org 1. RULES 1.1. The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in

the Racing Rules of Sailing. 1.2. No national authority prescriptions will apply. 1.3. The Laser class rule 7(a) is restricted as follows:

Only one person shall be on board whilst racing. The person shall be named on the entry form.

1.4. If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take preference.

1.5. Races will be started with no less than 5 knots wind speed.

1.6. An Appendix with all the subjects related to the single event will be added to these Standard Sailing Instructions.

2. NOTICES TO COMPETITORS 2.1. Notices to competitors will be posted on the official

notice board located near the race office. 2.2. Coach meeting will be held every morning.

3. CHANGES IN SAILING INSTRUCTIONS 3.1. Any changes to the Sailing Instructions will be posted

before 0900 on the day it will take effect. 3.2. The scheduled time of the races for each day shall be

specified in a notice posted by 2100 on the day before it will take effect.

4. SIGNALS MADE ASHORE 4.1. Signals made ashore will be displayed on the signal

mast near the race office. 4.2. When flag AP is displayed ashore, with two sound

signals (one when lowered),the first warning signal will be made not less than 1 hour after AP is lowered.

4.3. Flag D with one sound means ‘The warning signal will be made not less than 60 minutes after flag D is displayed.’

4.4. Flag V with two sound signals (one when lowered) means ‘No boat shall go afloat until this signal is lowered”. The first warning signal will be made not less than 1 hour after V is lowered.

5. BOATS AND EQUIPMENT 5.1. All competitors shall use only one hull, sail, mast, boom,

centreboard and rudder. 5.2. In the event of damage, boats and equipment may only

be substituted with the written permission of the regatta measurer, international jury or race committee. If the damage occurs later than 90 minutes before the first scheduled start on a racing day and before the start of the last race of the day, provisional verbal permission shall be obtained from the regatta measurer, international jury or race committee and the written permission of the regatta measurer, international jury or race committee shall be applied for before the end of Protest Time at the end of the day in which the substitution takes place.

6. FORMAT OF RACING The Laser Class is divided in Standard, Laser Radial and Laser 4.7 fleets and each fleet will have separate starts.

7. SCHEDULE OF RACES 7.1. There will be 2 races a day for a 4 day racing series and

3 races a day on the first two days of a 3 day series with 2 races on the last day.

7.2. To alert boats that a race or sequence of races will begin soon, the orange starting line flag will be displayed with one sound at least five minutes before any other procedure.

7.3. The scheduled time for the first warning signal for the first race of the first day is 13:00 hrs.

7.4. On the last day of the regatta no warning signal for any fleet will be made after 16:00hrs.

8. CLASS FLAGS

Laser Standard: Fleet Class flag (white flag with red Laser logo) Laser Radial: Fleet Class flag (green flag with red Laser logo) Laser 4.7: Fleet Class flag (yellow flag with red Laser logo)

9. RACING AREAS 9.1. The approximate course area will be displayed on the official

notice board.

10. THE COURSES 10.1. The Appendix to these SI shows the courses, including the

approximate angles between legs, the order in which marks are to be passed, and the side on which each mark is to be left.

10.2. Before the warning signal for each fleet, the race committee will display course signals:

10.3. No later than the warning signal, the race committee signal boat will display the approximate compass bearing of the first leg.

10.4. The course may be shortened to finish at any mark provided that 3 or more legs will have been sailed.

10.5. When one gate mark is missing, the remaining mark shall be rounded to port

11. THE START 11.1. Starting line

11.1.a. The starting line will be between two staffs displaying a large orange or any other colour visible against the shore flag on two race committee boats.

11.1.b. Boats whose warning signal has not been made shall sail at least 50 meters far and leeward starting line during the starting sequence for other races.

11.1.c. A boat starting later than 4 minutes after her starting signal will be scored DNS without a hearing. This changes rules A.4 and A.5

11.2. Starting timing 11.2.a. Races will be started as follows, according to RRS 26 as

altered below:

11.2.b. If flag U has been displayed as the preparatory signal, no part of a boat’s hull, crew, or equipment shall be in the triangle formed by the ends of the starting line and the first mark during the last minute before her starting signal. If a boat breaks this rule and is identified, she shall be disqualified without a hearing and scored OCS, but not if the race is restarted or re-sailed or postponed or abandoned before the starting signal. If this SI is used, it changes rule 26 and Appendix A5.and ; RRS 29.1 will not apply.

11.2.c. Starting under Black Flag Rule Penalty Rule 30.3 is altered adding the follows: sail numbers will be displayed for at least 3 minutes. A long sound signal will be made when the numbers are initially displayed.

12. CHANGE OF THE NEXT LEG OF THE COURSE 12.1. When it is not possible to change the position of the original

marks, the course may be reset using one or more new marks. When new marks are already in use, the course may be reset using original marks.

12.2. Except at a gate, boats shall pass between the race committee boat signalling the change of the next leg and the nearby mark, leaving the mark to port and the race committee boat to starboard. This changes rule 28.1.

13. THE FINISH The finishing line will be between a staff displaying a blue flag on a race committee boat and the finishing mark described in the Appendix.

14. TIME LIMITS AND TARGET TIMES 14.1. The length of the course will be set for a target time of

60 minutes. Failure to meet the target time will not be grounds for redress. This changes rule 62.1(a).

14.2. Boats failing to finish within 20 minutes after the first boat sails the course and finishes will be scored Did Not Finish without a hearing. This changes rules 35, A.4 and A.5.

15. PENALTY SYSTEM 15.1. Appendix P will apply with the following changes:

15.1.a. If a first penalty is signalled after she has finished, a boat may take the penalty or accept a scoring penalty of 8 points without a hearing.

15.2. Measurement Penalties 15.2.a. Measurement protests will only be accepted from

either the race committee or jury. This changes rule 60.1(a).

15.2.b. If a boat is sailed without a centreboard stopper, or with no mast retention line attached (class rule 3(b) xi), a scoring penalty of 20 points will, without a hearing, be added to the boats score in the last completed race in which she was racing without a centreboard stopper or the retention line. However, she shall not be scored worse than DSQ. This changes rule 63.1.

15.2.c. If a sail, top mast, or bottom mast has been changed prior to a race without the permission required by SI 5.2 the sailor will be disqualified without a hearing from the last completed race when the change was used. This changes rule 63.1.

15.2.d. For any other measurement protest, the jury may apply an alternative penalty to disqualification (DPI).

15.3. Scoring and arbitration penalties 15.3.a. Scoring penalties will be applied according to RRS

44.3c 15.3.b. The scoring abbreviation for an arbitration penalty is

ARB. 15.3.c. A scoring penalty in a split fleet will be based on the

number of competitors in the largest group. 15.4. Whistle system

In order to encourage boats to take penalties afloat, jury members may blow a whistle when they see what they believe to be a breach of a rule. If no boat takes a penalty, the international jury may lodge a protest.

16. PROTESTS AND REQUEST FOR REDRESS 16.1. The Jury room is located _______describe_______.. 16.2. Protest forms are available at the jury office. Protests

shall be delivered at the jury office within the protest time which will begin as soon as practicable after the finish of the last boat in each fleet. The end of protest time limit will daily decided and posted on the official notice board and may be different for each fleet. Protest hearings will be held in the protest room.

16.3. Notices will be posted no later than 30 minutes after the protest time limit to inform competitors of hearings in which they are parties or named as witnesses.

16.4. Notices of protests by the international jury or race committee will be posted to inform boats under rule 61.1(b).

16.5. A list of boats that have been penalized under Appendix P will be posted on the official notice board.

16.6. Breaches of instructions 5.2, 11.1.b, 19, 21, 22, 23 and 24 shall not be grounds for a protest by a boat. This changes rule 60.1(a). For these breaches the international jury may apply penalty less than disqualification.

16.7. On the last scheduled day of racing (or of the qualifying series, if applied) a request for reopening a hearing shall be delivered 16.7.a. within the protest time limit if the requesting party

was informed of the decision on the previous day; 16.7.b. no later than 15 minutes after the requesting party

was informed of the decision on that day; 16.7.c. no later than 15 minutes after a signal to abandon

racing is displayed ashore. This changes rule 66. 16.7.d. On the last scheduled day of racing (or of the

qualifying series, if applied) a request for redress from a jury decision shall not be delivered no later than 15 minutes after the decision was posted. This changes rule 62.2(a).

16.8. Decisions of the international jury will be final as provided in rule 70.5

17. ARBITRATION SYSTEM 17.1. As an alternative to a complete protest hearing by the

international jury, competitors will be given the choice of using an arbitration system. condition is that the parties present at the time scheduled for the hearing agree to accept the decision of the arbitrators. The arbitration system changes rules 63 and 64.

17.2. The arbitrators will be two members of the international jury. They will take the evidence of the parties and give their opinion as to any rule breaches. This opinion will be binding as a protest decision on the parties. However, the hearing may be reopened under rule 66. If a party of a hearing asks for a reopening, the penalty, if any, will be DSQ. If the arbitrators refer the case to the international jury, or the jury initiates a reopening, the penalty will be the penalty prescribed in next item of this S.I. or a greater penalty.

17.3. If the arbitrators penalize a boat, she shall receive a 30% Scoring Penalty calculated as stated in RRS 44.3(c).

17.4. If any of the parties refuse to accept the system when offered arbitration, the protest will be heard by a properly constituted international jury and RRS 64 applies.

18. EQUIPMENTS AND MEASUREMENT CHEKS A boat and equipment may be inspected at any time for compliance with the class rules, as wet clothing rules at the discretion of the class measurer or inspector, race committee or international jury.

19. SAFETY REGULATIONS 19.1. Competitors shall wear personal flotation devices at all times

when afloat, except briefly while changing or adjusting clothing or personal equipment. Wet suits and dry suits are not personal flotation devices. This changes rule 40.

19.2. Competitors who require assistance from rescue boats should wave one arm with hand open. If no assistance is required, the arm should be waved with fist closed.

19.3. If considered necessary a competitor may be ordered by a race organisation boat to abandon his or her boat and board a rescue boat.

19.4. A boat that retires from a race shall notify the race committee as soon as possible. The boat shall complete a retirement declaration form at the protest desk on return ashore.

20. SCORING 20.1. When only 1 race has been completed, the regatta still valid,

but will be downgraded per the scoring calculation for the Europa Cup Trophy.

20.2. When less than 4 races have been completed, a boat’s regatta score will be the total of her race scores.

20.3. When 4 to 7 races have been completed, a boat’s regatta score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score. When 8 have been completed, a boat’s regatta score will be the total of her race scores excluding her two worst scores.

21. TEAM AND SUPPORT BOATS 21.1. While the orange flag is hoisted at the start or blue flag is

hoisted at the finishing, team and support boats must stay 50 meters leeward to starting line and 50 meters windward finishing line

21.2. Team leaders, coaches and other suport personnel shall stay outside areas where boats are racing until all boats have finished or retired or the race committee signals an abandonment.

21.3. Team and support boats shall, at all times when afloat, be clearly identified by the country name, national letters or national flag of the team they represent.

21.4. Team and support boats shall not be in the racing area during the period between the first warning signal of the first fleet in a race and the finish of the last boat in the last fleet in that race except when a postponement is signalled, in which case they may be in the racing area until the first signal after the end of the postponement. The racing area is defined in Appendix.

21.5. If a team or support boat does not comply with instruction 21.1 and/or 21.2 a penalty may be applied to some or all associated competitors.

21.6. Instruction 21.4 will not apply to rescue operations.

22. INSURANCE Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover per event as stated in the NoR.

23. LIABILITY The host sailing club, the National Authority and the International Laser Class Association, their officers, members and volunteers do not accept liability for loss of life or property, personal injury or damage caused by or arising out of the Europa Cup Trophy Regattas and competitors take part in the Regattas entirely at their own risk. The establishment of the Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions in no way limits or reduces the complete and unlimited responsibilities of a competitor being solely and entirely responsible for the management of a boat he or she is sailing. A competitor must be of good health and a competent sailor capable of sailing a Laser in strong winds. It is the responsibility of each sailor to decide to participate in a race or to continue racing.

24. RIGHTS TO USE NAME AND LIKENESS By participating in this event, competitors automatically grant to the organizing authority and the event sponsors the right, in perpetuity, to make, use, and show, at their discretion, any photography, audio and video recordings, and other reproductions of them made at the venue or on the water from the time of their arrival at the venue, until their final departure, without compensation for the purpose of news reporting, regatta documentary, advertising to promote the regatta, the national or the international class association or sailing, and advertising where the above pictures/video recordings/etc are shown in the context of sailors/participants competing in a Laser Europa Cup Trophy Regattas.

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS APPENDIX 1. COMPETITION FORMAT

1.1. Where a Laser fleet is bigger than 80 boats, (or close to 80 at discretion of the Race Committee) can be split into groups.

1.2. The organising authority will divide the boats in the split fleet(s) into groups of, as nearly as possible, equal size.

1.2.a. When in a fleet there is a presence of at least 40 girls or ladies a female group can be constituted,

1.2.b. Each appropriate Fleet will be split into 2 groups called Yellow and Blue or in 3 groups called Yellow Blue and Red; or in 4 groups with the green group.

1.2.c. Boats will be possibly reassigned to groups each day after racing based on the overall available results.

1.2.d. The polling will be made with ZW scoring system, with the alternate option: 1st to Y, 2nd to B, 3rd to R, 4th to R, 5th to B, 6th to Y etcetera

1.3. The notice of groups will be posted on the official notice board as soon as possible before the first race of the day. The starting signal will be made no earlier than 60 minutes after the time of the posted notice.

1.4. If all groups of a split fleet have not completed the same number of races by the end of a day, the groups with fewer races will continue racing the following day until all groups have completed the same number of races.

1.5. If at the end of the regatta some groups of a split fleet have more race scores than others, scores for the most recent race(s) will be excluded so that all groups of that fleet have the same number of race scores. That S.I. will be applied also at the last day to define the groups for finals, see next S.I.

1.6. When at least 4 races were sailed for all groups, the last day the fleet will be divided in Gold and Silver fleets (and bronze and emerald if in case) and raced in “finals” format. See NOR 6.3. Different final-series groups need not have completed the same number of race.

2. GROUPS IDENTIFICATION 2.1. If a fleet is split into groups, the class flag for each

group will be the class flag with a coloured flag corresponding to the group colour.

2.2. If a fleet is split into groups, each competitor in that fleet will be issued with a coloured band

corresponding to the allocated group. The band shall be placed around the lower mast between the gooseneck and boom vang fitting.

2.3. Where one or more female group is constituted (App.1.2a) the warning signal flag will be “F” as Foxtrott.

2.4. In case of finals both flags and coloured bands will be as per gold=yellow; silver=blue; and bronze=red; emerald=green.

3. OFFICIAL BOATS Each race committee boat, rescue boat, mark laying boat, jury boat and coaches boats may display a flag or a logo as follows. • Each race committee boat, will display a white flag with “RC” • The rescue boats will display a white flag with “RESCUE” • Jury boat will display a white or a yellow flag with “JURY” • Measurer boat will display a white flag with “MEASUREMENT” • Coach rubber boats will display the number obtained at the

race office

4. SUPPORT BOATS • Team leaders, coaches and other support personnel shall stay

in a distance of at least 100 meters to any racing competitor, except when rendering assistance to a boat in danger at that boat’s request, or at the request of the race committee.

• Support boats shall give all possible help to ANY person or vessel in danger or in need of outside assistance.

• Support boats shall be kept in their assigned places in the harbour.

• The Penalty (if) for an infringement of this SI will be defined and imposed by the Jury.

5. COURSE DIAGRAM

5.1. All indicated distances between marks are recommended: the shorter up to 9 Kn wind speed; the longest over 9 Kn and have to be balanced considering of the current an all other sea conditions to reach the time target of 60 minutes.

5.2. This course will be used, if there are only two fleets on the course.

6. MARKS Mark 1,2,3,5, will be yellow cubes Mark 1A will be a buoy with a yellow flag Finish mark will be a race committee vessel and a buoy with

orange flag

7. TRASH DISPOSAL Trash may be placed aboard support and race committee boats.

8. ADVERTISING 8.1. Regulation ISAF 20 will be applied. 8.2. Boats shall display advertising supplied by the

organizing authority as described on the official notice board.

9. PRIZES 9.1. Prizes are stated by the NOR 13.1. 9.2. Prizes will be assigned also if only one race will be

sailed. In case of ties the prize will be raffled.

10. EVENTUAL FORBIDDEN AREAS 10.1. Peculiar obstructions and forbidden areas are

described in that Appendix.

11. SAFETY REGULATIONS 11.1. Boats that retire from a race shall report this

immediately to the race committee or the race office. The race office telephone number will be posted on the official board.

11.2. In case of extremely dangerous situations (weather conditions, etc.) the race committee will fire, together with or after the signals for abandonment of races, 3 guns with green stars. This signal will be repeated by as many Race Committee vessels as possible. This means for racing boats: Safety first for crew and helmsman. Sail your boat in the safest way to the nearest harbour. This means for all other vessels in the area: Watch and give assistance in rescuing crews and boats.

11.3. Safety in the area of the sea channel Warnemuende:

11.5. • Pay attention to International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (IRPCAS)

11.6. • Pay attention to Instructions of the water police and official boats.
