The First Conditional (If-Clause Type 1)

ประโยคเงื่อนไขแบบท่ี 1 หรือ If-Clause แบบท่ี1 ใชสมมุติในส่ิงท่ีเปนไปไดและเปนจริง

เชน If I sing songs very well, I will be a singer. ถาฉันรองเพลงไดเพราะ ฉันจะเปนนักรอง

ซ่ึงเปนการสมมุติในสิ่งท่ีเปนไปได คือถารองเพลงเพราะ กจ็ะไปเปนนักรอง

ประโยค If-Clause (ประโยคเงื่อนไข) จะประกอบดวย

1. สวนท่ีเปนเง่ือนไข (If Clause)

2. สวนท่ีเปนขอความหลัก (Main Clause)

สําหรับรูปแบบประโยคเงื่อนไขแบบท่ี 1 เปนดังนี ้ สวนท่ีเปน If-Clause + สวนท่ีเปน Main Clause

If + S + V1 (s,es) , S + will + V1 เคร่ืองหมาย comma

ตัวอยาง ประโยคบอกเลา

- If I go shopping, I will go with my mother. - If he wins the game, he'll have a big party.

ประโยคปฏิเสธ - If they don’t win, they’ll be very sad. - If she doesn't win, she won't receive the trophy.

ประโยคคําถาม - What will they do if they win the game?

**ในกรณีท่ีตองการให Main Clause ข้ึนกอน If-Clause ไมตองใส comma (,) คั่นประโยค**

เชน - I will stay at home if it rains. - I will tell Mary if I see her.

- He will invite Alice if she is free tomorrow. - Their teacher will be sad if they do not pass their exam. - Will you stay at home if it rains tomorrow?
