Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Huyen is a managing partner at LuatViet and is based in the Ho Chi Minh City Office. Mr. Ha Dang Quang is a partner who specializes in corporate, foreign investment, real estate, M&A, contract, and commercial law. Mr. Quang began his career in 1997 as a Lecturer at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law. He left the University in 2008 in order to practice law at both American and French law firms based in Ho Chi Minh City as a senior lawyer. As an economic-oriented lawyer with over 18-year experience in business, trade, investment and tax related issues, Mr. Phuc has served both local and foreign clients doing business in Vietnam. His practice areas are investment, M&A, corporate laws, real estate, commerce, insurance, and tax.

Prior to joining LuatViet, Mr. Phuc began his legal career with an international audit firm (Coopers & Lybrand, currently PwC) in the position of a tax consultant. Subsequently, Mr. Phuc joined Lafarge Flécheux Campana Le Blevennec (LBLF Vietnam), a Paris-based law firm, as an associate. After LBLF Vietnam merged with another Paris-based law firm Ngo, Miguérès & Associés (currently Flécheux, Ngo & Associés), Mr. Phuc then joined Prudential Insurance Com-pany as an in-house counsel for agency compliance, general regula-tory and corporate compliance. He played an active role in the field of compliance for the life and health insurance business, claim dispute settlement, corporate compliance, insurance products, and other compliance related issues.

Mr. Phuc obtained an LL.M. degree from the Vrije University of Brussels, Belgium (in 2006) after practicing law over 10 years from the time of graduating with a LL.B. from Hanoi Law University (1995). Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong is a Senior Counsel at LuatViet. He was previously a Justice at the People’s Supreme Court, Vice Chief of the Civil Court at the People’s Supreme Court in 1991, and Vice Chief of the Labor Court at the People’s Supreme Court in 1996. In 2002, he was appointed the Chief Justice of Labor Court at the People’s Supreme Court and retired in 2007. With more than 25 years of experience working in key judiciary positions at the People’s Supreme Court, Mr. Cuong has accumulated valuable experience with respect to the resolutions of Labor, economic, commercial and civil disputes, which are his main legal practice areas at LuatViet.

Mr. Cuong obtained his B.S. Degree in Mathematics from the University of Hanoi in 1971 and graduated from the College of Court in 1980. He received his LL.B degree from the Hanoi University of Law in 1993 and a Master of Law (LL.M) from the Hanoi University of Law in 1997.

Mr. Cuong is currently a visiting lecturer at the Hanoi University of Law and the Academy of Justice.

Mr. John Yue is a Senior Counsel at LuatViet. He has practiced for more than 10 years in Silicon Valley, California, and Vietnam with a focus on working with technology start-ups and cross-border transactions. Ông Park chuyên tư vấn về các lĩnh vực Luật Doanh Nghiệp, Hợp đồng, mua bán quốc tế, Hợp đồng lao động, thương mại, pháp luật và quản trị doanh nghiệp. Ông Park sẽ chuyên sâu vào phục vụ các đối tượng doanh nghiệp và tập đoàn Hàn Quốc do nhu cầu tư vấn pháp lý của các khách hàng Hàn Quốc ngày càng tăng cao.

Trước khi gia nhập Luật Việt, ông Park đã có 20 năm kinh nghiệm tư vấn pháp lý tại các siêu Tập đoàn đa quốc gia tại trụ sơ chính Hàn Quốc như Deawoo và LG. Ngoài ra ông còn là người sáng lập Ttrot Inc., và từng nắm giữ nhiều chức vụ quan trọng khác tại các công ty như Serome Techonology Inc. và Nexstreaming Corp. – một công ty chuyên cung cấp phần mềm công nghệ cho Samsung, LG, Sony-Ericson, Motorola, và Lenovo.

Ông Park Jun Yong đã danh dự nhận bằng Cử nhân Luật tại Đại học Dongguk (Hàn Quốc) năm 1994, Thạc sỹ Luật tại Đại học Aix-en-Provence (Pháp) năm 1995, và một bằng Thạc sỹ Luật tại Đại học Southern California (Hợp chủng quốc Hoa Kỳ) năm 2009. Ông Park còn được cấp chứng chỉ hành nghề luật sư tại tòa án tối cao bang New York (Hoa Kỳ). Quá trình học tập phong phú và kinh nghiệp tư vấn luật cho các tập đoàn đa quốc gia này chính là tiền đề giúp ông thông thạo nhiều ngôn ngữ như tiếng Hàn Quốc, tiếng Anh, tiếng Nhật, tiếng Pháp, và một ít tiếng Việt.

Mr. Park Jun Yong is a legal profesional with intense education and extreme international experiences to join us as a Senior Attorney. His practice areas focus on Corporate Governance & Compliance Services, Commercial and Employment Services, International Trading and Contract Services. Mr. Park is the main in charge to serve the Korean clients.

Before joining LuatViet, Mr. Park has devoted his extreme 20-year experiences as an in-house counsel for superb multinational conglomerates such as Daewoo and LG at the headquarters in South Korea. In additions, he is the founder and CEO of Ttrot Inc., a Mobile Application Start-up; also, he used to hold the key roles in some other corporations such as Serome Technology Inc., and NextStreaming Corp. which has supplied Software License to Samsung, LG, Sony-Ericson, Motorola, and Lenovo.

Mr. Park Jun Yong honorably obtained a LL.M from University of Southern California (the US) in 2009, a Master of Art on Business Law from Aix-en-Provence University (France) in 1995, and a Bachelor of Art on Law from Dongguk University (South Korea) in 1994. Furthermore, he admitted at Supreme Court of State of New York (the US). His impressive international backgrounds are a foundation for his proficiency as a multilingual speaker such as Korean, English, Japanese, French, and little bit Vietnamese.
