Resumen

Una de las semanas más ajetreadas del año en cuanto a presentación de resultados se
refiere, arrancaba con una sesión de mera transición, en la que volvimos a ver el patrón de muchas
jornadas: poco volúmen, índices con aperturas bajistas y pequeña recuperación al cierre pero
insuficiente para acabar el día en positivo. La historia debería empezar a cambiar desde hoy con el
primer bombardeo masivo de cifras empresariales (sólo esta semana 160 compañías darán a conocer
sus números en Europa). Bajo este escenario, el Eurostoxx se dejaba al cierre un -0,17%, el Ibex
acababa mínimamente en positivo, mientras que el FTSE MIB era el más damnificado de los europeos
con un retroceso del -0,87%.
En EE.UU. tuvimos un cierre mixto en una sesión en la que también se caracterizó por la
atonía y falta de dirección. De nuevo el punto de atención lo volvió a protagonizar el presidente Trump
al amenazar a Irán con parar sus amenazas al país. En lo que respecta al mercado destacaron el
sector financiero y el tecnológico, quedándose todo a la espera de lo que pueda pasar con la gran
tormenta de resultados que veremos a partir de hoy. Al final, el Dow Jones cerraba con un ligero
retroceso del -0,06%, mientras que el S&P500 y el Nasdaq lo hacían con avances del +0,18% y
+0,28% respectivamente.
En cuanto a los valores de la jornada, destacar en la parte alta de la tabla el buen
comportamiento de la británica Ocado la cual lograba ayer avances del +5.54%, seguida de
Thyssenkrupp con ascensos del +3.8% y de Telia que lo hacía en un +3.33% tras anunciar su
programa de recompra de acciones. Por otro lado, los valores que peor lo hicieron ayer fueron, la
sudafricana Steinhoff que recortaba un -15.2%, Atos con recortes del -6.74% después de anunciar la
oferta de adquisición sobre Syntel por un importe de 3,4 bn$, mientras que cerraba el trío perdedor la
aerolínea irlandesa de bajo coste Ryanair que perdía un -6.69% hasta alcanzar los mínimos de los
últimos siete meses, tras la publicación de unos decepcionantes resultados del 1T fiscal.
Al contrario que el cierre de ayer hoy se esperan subidas importantes en apertura con los
futuros y spread bets europeos pronostican una apertura alcista del 0,45% para el Euro Stoxx 50 y del
0,5% para el Ibex 35. En pre-market destacan subidas tras la oleada de buenos resultados para
Peugeot de un +7%, de AMS de un +3.7% y de Kloeckner de un +3%. En la parte baja malos
números para Sartorius que marca caídas del -3% y de Michelin Luxotica e Inwid que caen un -1%.

global. En nuestra idea de hoy hemos querido abordar cuatro mercados a la vez, en concreto sobre los
de Austria, Bélgica, Países Bajos y Luxemburgo. Nos ha parecido interesante ver si nuestro método
elegido seguirá funcionando en el momento de aplicarlo sobre cuatro países a la vez, en lugar de
hacerlo sobre un país en concreto como hemos venido haciéndolo hasta ahora. Os recomendamos

UBS: El banco suizo de inversión ha desvelado las cifras del 2T18. Bº de explotación 7,55 bn CHF >
7,4 bn CHF e cons. Bº antes de impuestos 1,68 bn CHF < 1,72 bn CHF e cons. Bº neto 1,28 bn CHF
> 1,09 bn CHF e cons. El ratio de capital CET1 se situó en el 13,4% vs 13,1% qoq. Han comentado
que la escasa volatilidad del mercado ha impactado en la menor actividad en la parte de trading. Por
último, han reiterado los objetivos de crecimiento de entrada de nuevo dinero entre el +2%/+4% para
2018.
PEUGEOT: La automovilística francesa ha desvelado los resultados del 1S18. Ventas 38,6 bn€ +40%
yoy. Bº operativo ajustado 3,02 bn€ +48% yoy, con el margen en el 7,8% vs 7,4% yoy. Bº neto 1,71
bn€. Han confirmado las guías para el período 2016-2018, excluyendo a Opel Vauxhall.
MICHELIN: El fabricante francés de neumáticos publicaba ayer tras el cierre los resultados del 1S18.
Ventas 10,6 bn€ < 10,67 bn€ e cons. Bº operativo ajustado 1,33 bn€ < 1,35 bn€ e cons. Bº neto 917
M€ > 861 M€ e cons. El management aprovechó para confirmar el guidance para el conjunto del año.
AMS: El fabricante austriaco de semiconductores ha presentado las cifras del 2T18. Ventas 252,8 M$
> 233,4 M$ e cons. Ebit -48,6 M$ vs -62,5 M$ e cons, con el margen en el 15%. Pérdidas netas -103,5
M$. Para el 3T18 esperan que los ingresos se sitúen en el rango de 450 M$ y 490 M$ vs 433,6 M$ e
cons, mientras que esperan llevar a cabo una actualización del plan estratégico a lo largo del 4T18.
RANDSTAD: La compañía holandesa de recursos humanos ha presentado las cifras del 2T18.
Ventas 6,02 bn€ < 6,06 bn€ e cons, con el crecimiento orgánico en el +5% yoy. Gross margin 19,8% >
19,7% yoy. Ebita 283 M€. Bº neto ajustado 223 M€. Han confirmado las guías a nivel Ebita para el
conjunto del año, mientras que esperan una ligera ralentización a nivel gross margin.
EDENRED: La compañía francesa ha presentado esta mañana los resultados del 1S18. Ventas 665
M€ < 670 M€ , con el crecimiento LFL en el +10,1%. Ebit 215 M€ > 206,5 M€ e cons, LFL +14% yoy,
con el margen en el 29,7% +1,8 pb yoy. Bº neto 124 M€ +0,8% yoy. Han fijado el objetivo de Ebit para
el conjunto del año en el rango de 440 M€ y 470 M€ vs 456 M€ e cons.
LUXOTTICA: Los resultados no alcanzaron las previsiones en la primera mitad de año aunque el
management ha aprovechado para confirmar las mismas para todo el ano. Las ventas fueron de 4.55
Bn€ vs 4.6 Bn€ est. El Beneficio operativo ajustado alcanzó los 781 M€ vs 801 M€ estimado y el
beneficio neto fue de 530.2 M€ respecto de 577.3 M€ esperado. Luxottica y Essilor están finalizando
las conversaciones con la autoridad antimonopolio china y confían en obtener la autorización para el
proyecto de combinar los dos grupos antes de fin de mes.
NORSK HYDRO: Los resultados del 2T18 de la siderúrgica noruega se han situado ligeramente por
debajo de lo esperado a nivel Ebit. Ventas 41,25 bn NOK > 41,02 bn NOK e cons. Ebit ajustado 2,71
bn NOK < 2,89 bn NOK e cons. Bº neto ajustado 2,1 bn NOK > 1,78 bn NOK e cons.

LINDT: La chocolatera suiza ha desvelado unos resultados del 1S18 algo por debajo de lo esperado a
nivel operativo. Vents 1,67 bn CHF > 1,66 bn CHF e cons, con el crecimiento orgánico situado en el
+5,1% yoy. Ebit 117,1 M CHF < 118 M CHF e cons. Bº neto 86 M CHF. Para el conjunto del año
esperan que el crecimiento orgánico de las ventas se sitúe en el +5% yoy y que el margen Ebit mejore
entre 20 y 40 pb.
HAMMERSON: La inmobiliaria británica ha presentado los resultados del 1S18 algo por debajo de lo
esperado a nivel BPA. Net rental income 178,5 ML. Bº operativo ajustado 120 ML. BPA ajustado 15,1
p/acc < 15,6 p/acc e cons. Han propuesto un dividendo de 11,1 p/acc.
ENDESA: La eléctrica ha desvelado los resultados del 1S18. Ventas 9,6 bn€ vs 9,8 bn€ yoy. Ebitda
1,8 bn€ > 1,78 bn€ e cons y vs 1,6 bn€ yoy. Bº neto 752 M€ > 746,3 M€ y vs 653 M€ yoy. El
management ha aprovechado para confirmar las guías para el conjunto del año.
BMW: Un miembro del consejo de BMW se convertirá en el CEO de Audi, faltando solo por resolver
una cláusula de no competencia de su contrato, algo que podría retrasar dicha incorporación.

ALPHABET: Los ejecutivos de Google proyectaron confianza en Android y otras empresas, sin dar a
los inversores señales de que una represión reguladora en Europa frenaría las ventas y las ganancias
en el corto plazo. Su matriz Alphabet publicó resultados en el segundo trimestre que superaron las
expectativas de Wall Street, con unos Revenues de 26,24 Bn$ vs 25.55 Bn$ est,beneficio operativo
de 2.81 Bn$ vs 10.31 Bn$, Ebit 10,52 bn$ vs 10 bn$ e cons. Bº antes de impuestos 10,88 bn$ vs
10,65 bn$ e cons. EPS $11.75 vs 9.59 exp y un Capex de 5.48 Bn$ vs 4.25 Bn$. M ientras que el
consejero delegado Sundar Pichai insinuó nuevas oportunidades publicitarias sin explotar y destacó el
crecimiento en el servicio de video.
VERIZON: La compañía está buscando asociarse con Google o Apple para proveer de televisión con
la nueva tecnología de alta velocidad 5G en Los Ángeles y Sacramento a finales de año.
NIKE: La compañía ha subido los sueldos a 7400 empleados según su nueva política de pagos.
Pagará a partir del mes que viene un +10% a su plantilla en todos los niveles de trabajo, ajustando así
los sueldos de los empleados con los de la industria.
PAYPAL: Third Point se ha hecho con una participación del capital en la compañía de métodos de
pago, dando así un voto de confianza al grupo ante el fuerte crecimiento de la competencia con
jugadores de la talla de Amazon y Square entre otros. El hedge fund americano dice que el valor
podría alcanzar los 125$ en el próximo año y medio.
GENERAL ELECTRIC: Los investigadores franceses sospechan que un inversor obtuvo ilegalmente
20 M€ en un solo trade después de recibir un aviso en 2014 sobre el plan de General Electric para
comprar parte de Alstom. La transacción se hizo vía derivados.

14 E S T R A T E G I A D E S C O R I N G E U R O P A C E N T R A L
Para nuestro siguiente capítulo hemos escogido una amalgama de países europeos sobre
los que hemos aplicado la estrategia que venimos aplicando a largo de los últimos días. En este caso,
los países que han pasado por el Laboratorio han sido los Austria y el Benelux, es decir, Bélgica,
Países Bajos y Luxemburgo. Dada su diversidad, hemos querido ver si el experimento ha funcionado
o, por el contrario, la combinación de varios mercados supone un perjuicio en el comportamiento final.
Siguiendo los mismos patrones que en ideas anteriores, seleccionamos el universo de
compañías cotizadas en los diferentes mercados compuesto por un total de 1329 compañías. A
continuación, aplicamos los mismos criterios que en los últimos días. El primero de ellos, es el de
market cap, de ahí que escojamos únicamente con las que tengan un mínimo de 3 bn€, lo que nos
lleva a reducir el espectro a 82 nombres.
Sobre este universo aplicamos el scoring de sorpresa cuya explicación adjuntamos a
continuación para los que os hayáis incorporado hoy a nuestra saga (los que nos leéis habitualmente
podéis saltar al siguiente párrafo). “intentamos seleccionar las compañías que mayor sorpresa
positiva hayan tenido en los resultados de los últimos cuatro trimestres a nivel ventas, Ebitda, Ebit y
BPA ajustado, entendiendo como sorpresa la diferencia entre el resultado publicado y las
estimaciones del consenso. Por tanto, nuestro sistema de scoring puntuará cuanto mayor porcentaje
exista en cada una de los niveles de la cuenta de resultados.”
Tras aplicar nuestro scoring el espectro se ve reducido de forma drástica de 82 a
únicamente 11 nombres. Sobre este último grupo aplicamos el segundo de los scoring, esto es, el de
consensus rating, o lo que es lo mismo, el sistema de puntuación que hemos diseñado en función de
la recomendación de los analistas. En concreto, concedemos 5 puntos a las compañías que estén en
comprar, 3 en mantener y 1 en vender. Una vez obtenida las puntuaciones, nos quedamos con las 5
de mayor nota, que son las que os mostramos a continuación.

Aplicamos nuestro backtesting para comprobar la validez o no de la idea. Como ya sabéis,
los criterios siguen siendo los mismos, es decir, 3 años y revisiones semanales. De nuevo otro día
más en que el resultado es francamente bueno con una rentabilidad del +49,87% vs +9,64% del
Stoxx600, que es el benchmark que hemos utilizado hoy al no tener ninguno que simulara los países
elegidos para hoy.
Otro de los puntos que llama la atención y que también tiene en común con algunas
estrategias presentadas en los últimos días, es que ésta se sitúa por encima del índice desde
prácticamente el inicio del plazo de observación.
