RESOLUTIONS ADOPTED BY INTERNATIONAL HINDI CONFERENCE AT RUTGERS UNIVERSITY, N J ON APRIL 5, 2015

THE ATTENDEES OF THE SECOND INTERNATIONAL HINDI CONFERENCE, APRIL 3-5, 2015, RUTGERS UNIVERSITY, NJ, USA, UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVE THAT:

1. The Consul General of India may please recommend to the Government of India to assist in the establishment of ‘Hindi Center of America’, to be officially known as xao~Iya ihMdI koMd` -Amaoirka based on the blueprint presented by Hindi Sangam Foundation at the International Hindi conference, Rutgers University, NJon April 5, 2015.

The blueprint was prepared in accordance with the Hindi Center resolution adopted by the 1st International Hindi Conference, held at New York University campus on April 25-27, 2014. The said resolution, which was endorsed by Honorable Ambassador Dnyaneshwar Mulay, the Consul General of India in New York, was followed by a similar resolution (#19) adopted by International Hindi Conference, Mauritius on October 30-November 3, 2014.

2. It is further resolved that the Hindi Center of America will be administered and managed by "Hindi Sangam Foundation" (an NGO which has been created for this purpose) - under the guidance of an Advisory Board comprising of Hindi Sangam Trustees, The Consul General of India, or his/her nominee, and four members of high distinction in the promotion of Hindi representing North America, Caribbean Islands and South American nations, to be nominated by Hindi Sangam Board of Trustees.
