Questions in the impact analysisImpact analysis will highlight / study:• 1. whether, and if so how, VINNVÄXT initiatives have affected the "region" (ie leading

regional players) work with innovation and growth strategies and their implementation. An important aspect is to shed light on the ability of a more systemic action developed.

• 2. whether, and if so how, VINNVÄXT initiatives have affected the "region" (ie leading regional players) overall ability to manage rapid structural change (unforeseen events, closures, etc.). Displays regional actors up a greater "trust capital" and the ability to act quickly and collectively.

• 3. whether, and if so how, VINNVÄXT initiatives contributing to the creation of national and international development platforms / networks within its strategic areas. (Such as SiO (BIO Innovation, Mrs, etc.)

• 4. whether, and if so how, VINNVÄXT has made the attractiveness of the region as “development node" in their chosen area of strength, has increased the industry and / or public activity, regional, national, respectively. international.

What can be learned from our experience?

• It’s important for us to push the initiatives to deliver good quality in data

• More specific task for follower researchers to focus on quality in data for results on system level (layer 3 and 4)

• Programme management needs to be a dialogue parter throughout the process of the impact analysis – due to the complexity

• Strategic learning approach in the international evaluations has proven to be successful (not just control)
