Executive SummaryThe Idaho State AFL-CIO called upon Strategies 360 to launch a twelve-month communications campaign to help raise the profile of the organization and foster critical conversation on the topics of Idaho’s wages and workers’ rights.

Among the materials we launched were the following three opinion pieces. In addition to higlighting the signers’ opinions regarding the state of wages and workers’ rights, the pieces tied the issues to timely events or holidays, and attempted to present the ideas in a manner that balanced the depth and complexity of the issues with the word limits imposed by editors (and readers’ attention spans).

Most importantly, we worked to sway the opinions of readers by demonstrating a common thread linking the wellbeing of the reader, Idaho’s economy, and those Idaho workers whose wages or working conditions are, in the opinion of the Idaho State AFL-CIO, having a negative and unjust impact on the individual and the entire community.
