Ginseng chicken 药膳鸡翅膀

材料Ingredients
6个鸡翅膀 6 chicken wings
3克洋参须 3 grams of ginseng beard
6片当归 6 pieces of angelica
1大匙杞子(泡软) 1 big spoon of wolfberries (soak till soft)
3粒红枣(去籽,切半) 3 red dates (pitted and cut into half)腌料
marinade1小匙盐 1 teaspoon of salt
4大匙姜汁 4 tablespoons of ginger juice
4大匙绍兴酒 4 tablespoons of “Shaoxing” wine
1大匙酱油 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce
1小匙鸡精粉 1 teaspoon of stock powder
1小匙糖 1 teaspoon of sugar
½小匙胡椒粉 half a teaspoon of pepper
1大匙薯粉 1 tablespoon of corn flour
做法Methods
1)把鸡翅膀切开,将鸡肉剥离大骨至尾端,把鸡肉翻转。
1) Pull skin and meat down over end of the chicken wing stick bone; each wing piece will resemble a baby drumstick shape.
2)把鸡翅膀与所有腌料拌匀,然后加入洋参须,当归,杞子和红枣捞均匀,一起腌 30分钟备用。
2) Season the baby drumstick with marinade, add in ginseng, chinese angelica, wolfberries and red dates, marinade for 30 minutes, keep aside.
3)把食材铺在蒸盘上,盛入预热蒸炉,盖上以大火蒸 8-10分钟至熟,即可食用。
3) Arrange all ingredients on a heatproof plate, steam in preheated steamer with covered over high heat for 8-10 minutes until cooked. Remove from heat and serve at once.
I chose this dish, as not only is it nutritious, it is also an easy-to-prepare dish that requires few ingredients. My paternal grandmother, whom at that time was staying at the kampong, created this dish. It was an affordable dish,
since chicken was reared in the kampong. She often prepared this dish for my father, who had a weak constitution. As my grandmother did not have any daughter, she decided to pass this recipe down to my mother when she married into the family. 为什么我选择做药膳鸡翅膀呢?我全家都觉得这道菜非常美味可口,很适合配饭或其他碳水化合物一起吃。准备药膳鸡翅膀的步骤也不多,需要的材料也不多,是一个非常简单又有营养的菜肴,所以我才选择准备这道菜。而且,这道家传菜还有一段很特别的来历呢!它是由我的祖母开始的。她当时还住在甘榜,家里养鸡。由于我父亲经常生病,因此我祖母常常都会准备这道菜肴给他补补身子。我祖母只有儿子没有女儿,所以在我母亲嫁进家后把这道菜肴的食谱给了她。我觉得这个专题作业很有意思。我起初觉得这个专题作业是浪费时间的,非常没有意义,所以很不想去做它。但是,当我一开始去做它时,我发现这项作业其实蛮好玩的!为了能够完成这项作业,我必须学会怎么去煮菜。我认为这是一个很重要的一点,应为我觉得每个人都应该懂得煮最基本的食物,这是为自己好。而且,如果能学会怎么煮菜,我们便会懂得对煮食物给我们吃的人感恩。这项作业也能够让我们和我们的家人培养感情。现在,很多的家长都忙着做工,赚钱,没有花足够的时间陪他们的孩子。我觉得这项作业能够促进亲子关系,所以它很有意义。能够鼓励我们学习下厨,和让我们认识饮食文化,这项作业真是一举多得。
