Homework PolicyDo all your work !!! Most homework can be used during tests, so its to your advantage to do it!For daily assignments, theyre due by the end of the day or not at all. Daily work creates the effort grade on the report card.Extensions on major projects are given only if asked for in advance and when requests are submitted with proof of work already done.If youre sick you deserve and will receive extra time and extra help.Dont copy and paste other peoples work.thats cheating.Wikipedia bad.Encarta good!!!From the handbook: If a student is reporting that he/she does not have any homework or assignments a parent should contact the teacher, as this may be an inaccurate perception on the childs part.

Social StudiesWorld Geography and Ancient Civilization Comparison Unit We will be studying world geography as well as comparing and contrasting Ancient Egypt, Rome and China. For a culminating project students will be researching a topic in all three civilizations and doing a PowerPoint presentation.Ancient GreeceStudents compete in city-states on a variety of tasks (chants/logos, city-state maps, timeline, famous Greeks presentations) as they learn about the wonders of ancient Greece!
