Picture-book Reading Picture books tell stories with a large number of1
pictures and few words. Each one is a complete world. Picture books are most often aimed at2 young children. And while3 some may have very basic language to help children develop4 their reading skills, most are written with a vocabulary a child can understand but not necessarily read.
