Shipment is indispensable and important part of a contract signed between buyers and sellers. As to the shipment of goods, we should pay attentionto the following contents:• Time of shipment• Port of shipment and destination• Partial shipment and transshipment • Shipping documents

Contents of ShipmentContents of Shipment

Shipment is of great importance to thefulfillment of the transaction in internationaltrade, which can be made by road, rail, sea,air. The choice of shipping methods depends onthe nature of the goods, the distance to beshipped, available means of transportation, and the freight costs. Nowadays, most of theforeign trades are transported by sea.

The buyers should send shipping instructions before shipment, stating shipping and packing requirement, such as mode of packing, the stencil of shipping mark, mode of shipment, time of shipment, etc.

Arrangements have been made with the AD line, which has one sailing approximately on the 12th every month from Hong Kong to EMP, such as Marseilles, Rotterdam etc. Shipping space is to be booked through their Dalian Agents, who can communicate with the line by fax after receipt of the Line’s reply accepting the
