A1 國立臺灣大學 103 學年度第 1 學期第 2 次教務會議議程 甲、報告事項 一、 申請增設系、所、學位學程相關業務報告案 有關 105 學年度公私立大學校院增設、調整特殊項目院系所學位學 程案,本校提報增設醫療器材與醫學影像研究所博士班、氣候變遷 與永續發展博士學位國際學程等 2 班別,業於 103/12/18 前完成報部 作業。 二、 103 學年度 IEET 認證相關業務報告案 有關 103 學年度中華工程教育學會(IEET)工程及科技教育認證, 本校計有工程科學及海洋工程學系(學士班、碩士/博士班)、工業工 程學研究所(碩士班)、高分子科學與工程學研究所(碩士/博士班)、 應用力學研究所(碩士/博士班)、環境工程學研究所(碩士/博士班) 5 班別接受書面期中審查,各受評鑑單位之期中報告書一式 5 及電子檔光碟 1 份業於 103/07/30 函送 IEET 續辦;針對認證團認證 意見書初稿回復亦於 103/11/07 函復該學會;正式審查結果預計於 104 3 月公告。 三、 教師辦理免評鑑作業 本校 103-1 學期申請免評鑑教師共 21 名,案經 103/11/18 免評鑑資 格審議小組會議審議後,計 20 名通過。 四、 書卷獎 102-2 學期學士班成績優良受獎學生共計 885 名,獲獎學生各發給獎 狀乙張及獎金 2,000 元,並由各學系自行擇期表揚。 五、 停修作業 103-1 學期學生申請停修課程已於 12/12 截止。原則上每人限停修一 科,全校共計停修 2,818 筆(學士班 2,045 筆、進修學士班 1 筆,研 究生 772 筆)。有學生申請停修之科目班次合計 1,330 班。 六、 碩、博士班招生 (一)本校 104 學年度碩士班甄試招生於 11/11 11/18 放榜,錄取正 取生 2,115 名、備取生 1,530 名。11/24-11/26 辦理正、備取生網 路報到,考生若同時錄取正、備取多系所組,可依個人意願登 記分發志願順序 (僅限分發 1 系所組) ,備取生遞補錄取 420 名。 (二)本校 104 學年度博士班甄試招生於 11/11 11/18 放榜, 38 系所

  • studyofinfectiousdiseases.Thecoursewillprovidestudentstodiscoverhowmathematicalconceptshelpusunderstandthespreadofinfectiouspathogensthroughdynamicpopulations.Studentswillexploreexistingmathematicalmodelsinpracticalcomputerlabsessions,andalsolearnhowtodeterminethekeyparametersinvolvedinthespreadofpathogens,theimpactofchangesintheseparameters,anddiscussthepublichealthpolicyimplications.Throughdiscussionsofpublishedpapers,studentswilllearnhowtocriticallyevaluateamodelingpaper,andhowtocommunicatethemodelingresultswithpolicymakers.

    Thecoursehastwomajorobjectives:(1)introducebasicprinciplesofmathematicalmodelingmethodsand(2)emphasizethesignificanceofsimulationandmodelingtothestudyofinfectiousdiseaseepidemiology.

    Weeklyreadings,writtenassignmentsandparticipationinclassdiscussionandcomputerlab.Thereisatakehomemidtermexamforevaluatingstudentstheabilityofimplementingadiseasetransmissionmodel.Studentsalsoneedtocompletetermprojectaddressingmathematicalorcomputermodelinginoneofinfectiousdiseasesoftheirchoice.
