Fisherman‘s Wharf

The legal name of the Danshui Fisherman’s Wharf is “The second Freshwater fishing port”, which was built in 1987, the land area is about 15 hectares and a water area, 11 hectares. The total areas are 26 hectares.

Fisherman’s Wharf is located on the right bank of the Danshui. On the east, there is stretchy mountains, which is called Tatun, because it was located in the forefront of the Tamsui River’s junction of the river and ocean, the vision of the fields are vast. If you came to here, you can not only see the mountains, but also to see the sea, all with views over the eyes.

Valentine’s bridge, built in 2003, connected to the local market and the Outer Harbour, which is a famous landmark in freshwater. The locals said, if you keep going without looking back to Valentine’s bridge, hand in hand with the beloved, it will get the blessing from the god. As the saying goes, “all shall be well, and Jack shall have Jill.”

Whether this legend is true or not, there are still many couples talking indeed. However the Valentine’s bridge’s fishery is very prosperous where open many western restaurants, bands and street artists will perform at night, it is so romantic that worth making a tour with your lovers.

Bali Zou-an

Bali Zou-an located in northern Taiwan, is one of the important river port in early Taiwan. It is very beautiful there, but because of the traffic is not convenient, so few people visit it. In 2002, Taipei County Government promote Bali Zou-an with the opening of the“Thirteen Museum”.

Government planning different topics creates both landmark and Traffic recreational function of the waterfront landmark Park, Including the Zou-an park, Zou-an theater, landscape wooden plank, riparian beach, bicycle paths, carriage Road, Sea view Shelter, the Waziwei ecological park, ancient fishing village, view of the sea, and Long Beach, etc.

There are coffee shops, Taiwanese snacks vendors, and Chinese traditional folk game stands along the trail to arise your enjoyment.
