マタイ/Mat. 5:8

心のきよい者は幸いです。 その人は神を見るからです。

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

①神様の御前/臨在に入る許可をいただく To be admitted to God’s presence

ヘブル/Heb. 12:14

すべての人との平和を追い求め、 また、聖められることを追い求めなさい。聖くなければ、

だれも主を見ることができません。 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be

holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.

①神様への一途さ Single-mindedness on God

神に近づきなさい。そうすれば、神はあなたがたに近づいてくださいます。罪ある人たち。手を洗いきよめなさい。

二心の人たち。心を清くしなさい。 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your

hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

マタイ/Matt. 6:24

だれも、ふたりの主人に仕えることはできません。一方を憎んで他方を愛したり、一方を重んじて他方を軽んじたり

するからです。あなたがたは、神にも仕え、 また富にも仕えるということはできません。

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

②神様だけを深く愛する Single devotion

世をも、世にあるものをも、愛してはなりません。もし だれでも世を愛しているなら、その人のうちに御父を愛する愛はありません。16 すべての世にあるもの、すなわち、 肉の欲、目の欲、暮らし向きの自慢などは、御父から 出たものではなく、この世から出たものだからです。

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 For everything in the world―the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life―comes not from the Father

but from the world.

マタイ/Matt. 22:37

心を尽くし、思いを尽くし、知力を尽くして、 あなたの神である主を愛せよ。

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

③純粋な動機 Pure motives

人は自分の行いがことごとく純粋だと思う。 しかし主は人のたましいの値うちをはかられる。

All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord.

どうすれば聖くなれるのか？ How can we become holy?

イザヤ/Isa. 59:2

あなたがたの咎が、あなたがたと、あなたがたの神との 仕切りとなり、あなたがたの罪が御顔を隠させ、

聞いてくださらないようにしたのだ。 But your iniquities have separated you from your God;

your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

御子イエスの血はすべての罪から私たちをきよめます。 …the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

イエスが流された血によってのみ 私たちの罪は赦され、きよくされる。

Only by the blood of Jesus our sins are forgiven and we become holy.

使徒/Acts 15:8-9

8 そして、人の心の中を知っておられる神は、私たちに 与えられたと同じように異邦人にも聖霊を与えて、彼らの ためにあかしをし、9 私たちと彼らとに何の差別もつけず、

彼らの心を信仰によってきよめてくださったのです。 God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. 9 He

did not discriminate between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith.
