SUBJECT + BE + NOT + VERB (ING) + COMPLEMENT

EXAMPLES:HE IS NOT WORKING WELL IN HIS HOMEWORK

THE BABY IS NOT PLAYING AT THE MOMENT, HE IS CRYING JUST NOW.

INTERROGATIVE SENTENCES

RULES AT VERBS – THIRD PERSON (HE, SHE, IT)

Aumento “S” a la mayoría de los verbos.Examples: work – works

Need – needs

Cambio la Y por I + ESEx: Study – studies – Worry= worries

Cuando terminan en: sh-ch-ss-x-o aumento ESEx: Wash = washes – Teach= teaches- Miss= misses

Mix= mixes – Go= goes – Do= does

Cuando terminan en y antecedidos por vocal aumento solo “S”Ex: Play – plays – Stay= stays

El verbo HAVE cambia a HAS (tener)

EXAMPLES:

The lion lives in the jungle

Juan plays the drums

She washes her baby´s clothes

Peter studies in the school
