Mission Statement: World Team exists to glorify God by working together to establishreproducing churches focusing on the unreached peoples of the world.

Our last two letters introduced you to our call to missions and our reasons for going to Cambodia.We would now like to inform you about World Team, the missionary organization that is presently assisting us in

our preparation for the eld and will provide us with much needed resources while we are in Cambodia.

World Team, Our Partner

In our last letter we talked about the need or Christianworkers at Friendship School in Kampong Cham. A smallchurch has been started there and is presently meeting inthe home o one o the students. Due to the growth o thischurch and the desire o the Khmer people to learn moreabout God and the Bible, World eam and our church, XenosChristian Fellowship, have decided to send us to assist withthe work there.

In what is known as Te Great Commission, Jesus gave hisollowers one nal command beore he departed:

I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.Terefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizingthem in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,teaching them to observe all that I commanded you.Matthew 28:18-20

Te early church grew due to the Apostle Pauls dedicationto this command and we believe that this model is the mostefective way or people to come to aith in Christ andbecome grounded in Jesus teachings. Sharing the Gospel,developing and releasing leaders, and interdependence amongChristians are some o World eams core values with whichwe agree.

Sharing the GospelTe Gospel is the good news thatJesus died to pay the penalty o oursin, was raised rom the dead, andthat we can have orgiveness o sinspast, present, and uture throughaith in this payment. Tis is the onedistinct message o the Bible thatGod wants us to proclaim.

If you confess with your mouth thatJesus is Lord and believe in your heart

that God raised him from the dead,you will be saved.Romans 10: 9

Developing and Releasing LeadersTe process by which one Christian helps another to growin aith by teaching them how to pray, apply the Bible totheir lie, and live out their aith in Christ daily. Trough thisprocess church leaders are made, nurtured and strive. Paul isan example o this in the New estament. He tells imothy:

Tese things which you have heard from me in the presence ofmany witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able toteach others also.2 imothy 2:2

Interdependence Among ChristiansWorld eam recognizes that Gods work cannot be donealone. Because o this, World eam sends their missionariesin teams, dependent on one another and the larger Body oChrist to engage in this work. We will be joining a team oellow workers when we arrive in Kampong Cham, and ahome support team is assisting our preparations or the eldbeore we go.
