The Pathways Scholars Program at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix is designed for students who have experienced greater-‐than-‐average challenges in preparing to become compeEEve medical school applicants. The purpose of the Pathways Scholars Program is to prepare students who possess the qualiEes that would make them excellent physicians, but lack some of the foundaEonal skills. The program provides students with the academic health sciences instrucEon, introducEon to research pracEces, and study and Eme-‐management skills that are required of successful applicants.
