RESEARCH / TEACHING EXPERIENCE

(i) Based on findings of M.Sc. research work conducted at Nuclear Institute of Agriculture Biology, Faisalabad under the supervision of Dr. Ibrahim Rajoka entitled “Production of biomass protein by Candida utilis and its biological evaluation in broiler chicks”. Through fermentation of rice polishing (most commonly used ingredient in poultry feed) become enrich its nutritive value.

(ii) Based on findings of research work conducted during Ph. D. study entitled “Comparative production efficiency of cereal fodder and their effect on silage characteristics and utilization in sheep”. Maize fodder / silage was proved comparatively better in nutritive value than those of sorghum and millet fodders / their silages.

(iii) After collaboration of Poultry Research Institute with University of Arid Agriculture, Rawalpindi. I involved in teaching of M.Sc. (Hons.) Poultry Husbandry classes at University of Arid Agriculture, Rawalpind. Teaching of one major course i.e. Poultry Housing and environment (PH-703) was assigned.

(iv) Supervised (as a Committee Member) research work/ theses of PhD/M.Sc. (Hons.) Poultry Sciences at UAAR, the titles of thesis is as under:-

(i) Economic evaluation of hatchability and effect of broiler breeder age and egg weight on hatchability, chick quality and broiler production—PhD study.

(ii) Effect of different energy protein ratio on the performance of Desi native chickens during growing phase (9-20 weeks)-M.Sc. study.

(iii) Effect of varying supplementary levels of cholecalciferol in broiler ration on the performance of broilers-M.Sc. study.

(iv) Effect of supplementation of different probiotics on the performance of broilers- M.Sc. study.

(v) Effect of dietary supplementation of different growth promoters on egg production in layers- M.Sc. study.

(vi) Prevalence and chemotherapy of ticks infestation in poultry in Islamabad region- M.Sc. study.

(v) Evaluated (as Chairman of Research Committee) the annual research proposals as well as research reports of Directorate of Poultry Research Institute, Shamsabad, Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
