Mae pecynnau yswiriant ‘Yr Wyddfa’ a ‘Pen y Fan’ yr un fath felly os y taloch am lefel ‘Yr Wyddfa’ yn 2015 (i gofrestru fel SEC), bydd ‘Pen y Fan’ yn ddigonol eleni. Os y dewisoch ‘Pen y Fan’ neu ‘Mynydd Du’ yn 2015, fe’ch anogir i fynd am ‘Yr Wyddfa’. Clwb 100: cyfle i godi arian i’r cylchPa ffordd well o godi arian i’r cylch na thrwy ymaelodi â Chlwb 100 Mudiad Meithrin? Pob mis, ceir gwobrau o £75, £20 a £10 a bydd y symiau’n cynyddu pan fyddwn ni wedi cyrraedd 200 aelod.Mae aelodaeth o Glwb 100 y Mudiad yn £2 y mis, a gall cylchoedd meithrinymaelodi â’r Clwb 100 yn ogystal ag unigolion. Gyda’r Pecyn Gwasanaeth 2016 ceir ffurflen ymgeisio am grant. Gall cylch Ti a Fi ymgeisio hefyd. Ceir bron i 200 o grantiau gwahanol (o £100 i £5000) a’r themâu eleni yw:

1. Cylch meithrin neu gymuned sydd am gychwyn cylch Ti a Fi newydd (er mwyn pontio’r cyfnod 0 oed i 2 oed); 2. Cylch meithrin sydd am sicrhau cynaladwyedd neu ehangu’r gwasanaethau a gynigir gan y cylch; 3. Cylch meithrin neu gylch Ti a Fi sydd am greu neu wella ardal awyr agored; 4. Cylch meithrin sydd am fuddsoddi yn sgiliau TGCh y plant (yn unol â gofynion ‘Estyn’).

Ni chaiff unrhyw gylch a enillodd grant o £1000 neu fwy yn 2015 ymgeisio am grant sydd dros £500 eleni. Bydd y broses grantiau yn cau ddiwedd Gorffennaf.

Dyma gynllun cyffrous newydd sbon danlli! Nod y cynllun yw hyrwyddo manteision addysg Gymraeg gan annog rhieni i ddewis addysg Gymraeg i’w plant trwy fynychu gweithgareddau hwyliog, y cylch Ti a Fi a’r cylch meithrin cyn symud ymlaen i’r ysgol Gymraeg. Mae 16 o swyddogion tîm ‘Cymraeg i Blant’ eisoes mewn gwaith a lawnsir y fenter newydd yn Sioe Llanelwedd.

The 2016 Services Pack was sent to all the cylchoedd in May. Once again this year, there are 3 different membership levels: ‘Yr Wyddfa’, ‘Pen y Fan’ and ‘Mynydd Du’. There’s no need to opt for ‘Yr Wyddfa’ this year if you chose it in 2015 (to register as a CIO) as insurance levels are the same in ‘Yr Wyddfa’ and ‘Pen y Fan’ but we’d recommend going for the highest peak if you didn’t do so last year! All levels include these new features:

The deadline for returning the registration form is the end of July and, by the way, there’s no increases in prices this year.

Carys John (Ffa-la-la) will be leading the singing and dancing this year at Gŵyl Dewin a Doti’s Festival. Carys is also the composer and creator of the new resource pack and CD ‘Pobl Sy’n Ein Helpu’ (People Who Help Us). The CD is a lovely collection of new original songs based on the theme (including Mudiad Meithrin’s new anthem ‘Un Teulu Mawr’ - One Big Family). At this year’s National Eisteddfod in Abergavenny we’ll be launching an awards ceremony which is to be held this Autumn in Aberystwyth. The aim of the ceremony is to celebrate good practice and excellence in all our settings (cylchoedd meithrin, cylchoedd Ti a Fi, nurseries etc). As a separate venture, we will also be celebrating long service. So if you know of someone who’s given more than 20 years working or volunteering in a cylch/cylchoedd or for the Mudiad, please let us have the details via - post@meithrin.cymru

A new regulatory framework between CSSiW and ‘Estyn’ is coming into force and will affect all registered settings like cylchoedd meithrin. Make sure you’re up to speed with all the changes and ask your Support Officer for more guidance if unsure.

Have you heard about ‘Cymraeg for Kids’?This is a brand new scheme aimed at persuading more parents and families to choose the advantages of Welsh-medium education for their children. The cylch Ti a Fi and cylch meithrin are important stepping stonestowards Welsh-medium education so the main aim of ‘Cymraeg for Kids’ is to attract more children to the cylch through a variety of fun activities!

What better way to raise some money to the local cylch then by joining the Clwb 100 Club as a cylch? Every month, there are prizes of £75, £20 and£10 to be won. Every Spring, we run our annual survey asking you to air your views and evaluate the services offered by Mudiad Meithrin to all cylchoedd. This year almost 83% of settings rated the service as good, very good or excellent. But, there’s always room for improvement so we’ll soon be publishing our “You Said...We Did” action plan to respond to any recurring themes and trends.

You Said... We Did

With the new Service Pack 2016 there is a grant application form included. Cylchoedd Ti a Fi groups can also apply. There are nearly 200 different grants (from £100 to £5000) and the themes this year are:

1. A cylch meithrin or a community group who wants to start a new cylch Ti a Fi group (to bridge the 0 to 2 years old age);

2. A cylch meithrin wanting to ensure sustainability or expand the services offered by the cylch;

3. A cylch meithrin or cylch Ti a Fi who is eager to create or improve the outdoor area;

4. A cylch meithrin wishing to invest in ICT skills of the children (in accordance with ‘Estyn’ requirements).

Any cylch who was awarded a grant of £1000 or more in 2015 are not able to apply for a grant of over £500 this year. The grant process closes in late July.
