Panasonic provides several proprietary digital telephones that connect to the KX-TD612. Combining advancedfeatures with easy use, these phones are the perfect way to make the most of the KX-TD612's powerful capabilities.
Intelligent Call Handling
The JOG-DIAL on the KX-T7436 and KX-T7433 gives
you quick access to the Call Directory (using
alphanumeric searching) and to system features
(using the display menu). On all models, the JOG-
DIAL makes it easy to adjust the speaker, handset, and ringer volumes and contrast.
JOG-DIAL
Simplifies call handling and other operations. You can
view a host of information (list follows), access system
features, or call directly via visual prompts.

Flexible and Expandable --
Growing with Internet SpeedThe KX-TD612's many digital functions for voice,
data, and Internet communication let you handle
calls intelligently. Its Call Centre functions areideal for taking orders and responding to inquiries,
while the Message Board serves as an answering
machine and simplified auto attendant. When
integrated with the KX-TVP50, Caller ID (CLIP)
data is recorded along with the message, letting
you return calls even when customers forget to
leave a phone number. Direct Dialling In/Multiple
Subscriber Number (DDI/MSN) gives each
extension its own telephone number, making it
easy for customers to reach the right person.
Caller ID (CLIP) displays a caller's telephone
number for easier handling. Call Forwardingtransfers calls to another extension or to an
outside phone.
Connect a PC to the KX-TD612's serial (RS-232C/ V.24) port for Internet access without a modem
or terminal adapter. The KX-TD612 is ideal for
smaller offices, accommodating up to eight
system telephones and four standard phones.
Its "ISDN to the Desktop" feature supports
high-speed Internet connection and access.
Connect any of a host of peripherals_router,
ISDN-Tel, ISDN-DECT_for even greater efficiency.
The KX-TD612 is built for two ISDN lines
(for four telephones lines), and a third can be
added as call or Internet traffic increases.
You can even add an optional Analogue OutsideLine, if necessary, to keep your original telephone
number when switching from analogue to ISDN.

Functions Keep Your Business Moving
You can set the programmable keys to provide
instant, one-touch feature operations. A Busy
Lamp Field (BLF) shows which extensions are in
use. You can use these keys to improve call
handling efficiently, such as by assigning each
key a feature like Direct Station Selection
(DSS), Day/Night mode, Log-in/Log-Out, or
voice mail transfer. Each key has a dual-colour
LED to show information such as line status,
extension status, or feature on/off.
The XDP*lets you add a single-line device (suchas an analogue telephone or cordless phone) at
no additional cost. You can fax a document while
talking on the phone, or converse while
transferring data from your PC. You can also
connect a modem to the XDP for simultaneous
Internet access.
*Except KX-T7565 / T7560.
Numerous functions help you save on telephone
charges. Toll Restriction lets you limit lingdistance calls, Automatic Route Selection (ARS)
selects the cheapest of multiple carriers, Budget
Management tallies each employee's phone use,
and the system provide with call detailed
information to external devices (PC or printer)
for further cost analysis.
The KX-TD612 improves efficiency with a CTI(Computer Telephony Integration) TAPI interface
and Auto Answer with Queuing. CTI connects the
PBX to your PC. When a call comes in, Caller ID
(CLIP) information is sent to the computer, which
searches the database for customer data. Auto Answer
with Queuing works when no one is available to take
a call. A recording asks the caller to wait (while music
plays) for the next agent, and if no one picks up
within a specified time the call is transferred to
a Message Board or external voice mail.
The KX-TD612 uses Caller ID data to connectcalls directly to the intended party. Uniform Call
Distribution (UCD) helps improve customer
service. Plus, the caller hears a greeting message
and music right up to the point at which the call
is answered.
