This past week, there are many district’s activities that coincided. On October 15-19, 2011, DG.Orachorn Sai- srithong presided at the opening of the Rotary Youths Leader-ship Award or RYLA at the Suandusit Trang University, Trang while at the same time, the District Rotary Foundation by PDG.Wichai Maneewacharakiat, the chairperson, with the support from D 2830, Japan, held the Global Grant with D 3330. The opening ceremony and the project of the 2nd CLE for teachers of 5 provinces on the southern border was held at the Hatyai Paradise and Resort, Hatyai on October 15-19 2011. In this issue, I went to observe the seminar in Hatyai and brought you the pictures for you. The pictures of RYLA in Trang were from PP.Dr.Prapon Chotikamas and PP.Kanchiya Prapha, thank you.

All of you probably knows that the flood disaster that is happening is not just regular flooding but the water that comes from the northern part is fast and strong and will not receded within today or tomorrow. That’s the tears that are flooding the hearts of Thai people nowadays. The damage is spreading in the provinces around Bangkok and the provinces that the water passed though, the damage is incalculable whether in money of spirit. One third of the citizens of our country is in critical condition and still needs the help from you. However, I would like to thank all of you who were so kind and donated to the flood victims help project of D 3330. As of October 19, 2011, the total sum of the donation was over 400,000 Baht already. I would like to be the moral support and wishing you all to be safe. We will fight through this natural disaster with poise.

โครงการอบรมวิทยากรแกนน�าเพื่อการพัฒนาการรู้หนังสือภาษาไทย(รูป

แอนด์ รีสอร์ท หาดใหญ่ วันที่ 15-19 ตุลาคม 2554 ฉบับนี้ดิฉันมีโอกาส

ได้เข้าไปสังเกตุการณ์ในการอบรมที่หาดใหญ่ ได้น�าภาพการอบรมมาให้

ชม ส่วนภาพอบรม Ryla ที่ตรังได้รับความอนุเคราะห์จาก อน.นพ.

ประพนธ์ โชติกมาศ และ อน.กัญชิญา ประภา ต้องขอบคุณด้วยนะคะ

ทุกท่านคงจะทราบกันดีแล้วว่า อุทกภัยที่ก�าลังเกิดขึ้นอยู่ขณะนี้

ไม่ใช่เป็นน�้าท่วมธรรมดาๆ แต่เป็นน�้าหลากที่ไหลมาจากทางเหนือเป็นน�้า

จ�านวนมาก ไม่สามารถจะเหือดแห้งในวันนี้หรือพรุ่งนี้ได้ เป็นน�้าตาที่

ก�าลังท่วมในหัวใจของประชาชนชาวไทยอยู่ขณะนี้ ความเสียหายได้

ลุกลามไปทั่วในเขตจังหวัดรอบ ๆ กรุงเทพฯ และจังหวัดที่น�้าไหลผ่าน

ความเสียหายมากมายไม่สามารถประเมินได้ไม่ว่าจะเป็นตัวเงินหรือ

จิตใจ ประชากร 1 ใน 3 ของประเทศขณะนี้วิกฤตมากยังต้องการความ

ช่วยเหลือจากท่านอยู่ค่ะ อย่างไรก็ตามต้องขอขอบคุณทุกท่านที่มีน�้าใจ

บริจาคในโครงการช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยธรรมชาติของภาค 3330 ณ วัน

ที่ 19 ตุลาคม 2554 มียอดบริจาคถึง 400,000 เศษ ดิฉันขอเป็นก�าลังใจ

ให้ทุกท่านปลอดภัย เราจะช่วยกันฟันฝ่าวิกฤตให้รอดพ้นภัยธรรมชาตินี้

ภาคใต้ โดยมีสโมสรโรตารีพื้นที่ 1-5 เป็นผู้รับผิดชอบโครงการ ระหว่าง

วันที่ 15-19 ตุลาคม 2554 ที่โรงแรมหาดใหญ่ พาราไดส์ แอนด์ รีสอร์ท

อ.หาดใหญ่ จ.สงขลา

The 2nd CLE Project is the Globla Grant No.25560 that is

sponsored by District 2830, Japan and District 3330, Thailand

with PDG.Wichai Maneewacharakiat, the District Rotary Foun-

dation Chair presiding at the opening ceremony. This is a project

that trained teachers in 5 provinces in the southern border with

Rotary clubs in area 1-5 responsible in taking care of all the

teachers attending on October 15-19, 2011 at the Hatyai Para-

dise and Resort Hotel, Hatyai, Songkhla.

โครงการช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยธรรมชาต ิ Diaster Relief Committee District Chair

วันนี้เป็นวันที่ระทึกใจของชาวกรุงเทพมหานครอีกวันหนึ่ง ท�าให้เราทุกคนคงตระหนักดีถึงพลังของ “น�้า” ดังค�าคมของชาวจีนที่ว่า “น�้าพยุงเรือได้ แต่ก็สามารถจมเรือได้เช่นกัน” หรือส�าหรับผู้ที่สูญเสียบุคคลอันเป็นที่รักไปกับอุทกภัยครั้งนี้ “น�้าประทังชีวิตเราได้ แต่ก็สามารถเอาชีวิตเราไปได้เช่นกัน” แม้เราจะไม่ต้อง การน�า้ที่มากเกินไปในขณะนี้ แต่มีน�า้อย่างหนึ่งที่ทุกคนต้องการ ยิ่งมากยิ่งดี นั่นก็คือ “น�้าใจ” หลังจากพวกเราพยายามหาเรือยนต์เพื่อบริจาคให้กับโรงพยาบาลวชิระภูเก็ต เพื่อน�าไปใช้ในภารกิจช่วยผู้ประสบภัยในจังหวัดรอบๆ กรุงเทพฯ อยู่พักหนึ่ง ก็ได้มา ๒ ล�า โดยล�าหนึ่งได้มาจาการบริจาคของคุณคณิต ยงสกุล ซึ่งท่านได้มอบเรือส่วนตัวมาให้มูลค่ากว่า ๒ แสนบาท และอีกล�าหนึ่งจากการประสานงานของ รทร.ณัฐกิจ สร.อันดามัน และ อน.จ�าเริญ สร.ทุ่งคา ซึ่งได้เรือจากหาดใหญ่ และเครื่องยนต์จากกระบี่ ราคาประมาณ ๙๐,๐๐๐ บาท สโมสรโรตารีทั้ง ๖ แห่งจะมอบให้กับโรงพยาบาลผ่านผู้ว่าราชการในวันที่ ๒๐ ที่จะถึงนี้

สุดท้ายนี้ ผมขอขอบคุณผู้บริจาคชุดล่าสุด ที่ท�าให้ยอดบริจาคครบ ๔ แสนบาทแล้วครับ ซึ่งจะช่วยให้เราบรรลุเป้าหมายในการช่วยเหลือเพื่อนร่วมชาติ ยอดการบริจาคเงินเข้ากองทุนช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยพิบัติภาค ๓๓๓๐ โรตารีสากล เพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบอุทกภัยในทุกภาค ล่าสุด ณ วันที่ ๑๙ ต.ค. มีดังนี้ครับ

ช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยธรรมชาติ ภาค 3330

Today is another nervous day for Bangkokians that makes us think of the power of water just like the Chinese proverb “the water can sustain the boat but can also sink the boat”, or for those who had lost their loved ones “water can sustain our lives but can take our lives away as well”. Even though we may not need the abundance of water, but there is one kind of water that everyone needs, that is heart water (kindness). After we have tried to find motor boat to donate to Wajira Phuket Hospital to be used in helping the flood victims in the provinces around Bangkok for a while, we have found two. One of them was donated by Mr.Kanit Yongsakul. He donated his own boat worth over 200,000 Baht. Another one was from the donation from RTN.Natakit (RC Andaman) and PP.Chamroen (RC Thungka) who got the boat from Hatyai and the engine from Krabi worth around 90,000 Baht. The 6 Rotary clubs will hand them over to the provincial governor on this coming 20th.

Last but not least, I would like to thank the latest set of donor that made the total amount of donation over 400,000 Baht which will help us achieve the goal of helping our fellow countrymen. พิธีมอบจักรยานยืมเรียน 100 คันเพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ เนื่องในวโรกาสเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาครบ

7 รอบ 84 พรรษา โดยสโมสรโรตารี 7 สโมสรในจังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช จัดขึ้นที่วิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีจรัสพิชากร เมื่อวันที่ 12 ตุลาคม

2554 และมีท่านผู้ว่าการภาคอรชร สายสีทอง เป็นประธานในพิธี จักรยานที่ได้มาเป็นจักรยานมือสองจากสโมสรโรตารีเมืองโตยาม่า

ภาค 2610 และสโมสรโรตารีฮิกาชิ ชิตะภาค 2760 ประเทศญี่ปุ่นผ่านทางสโมสรโรตารีกรุงเทพสุริวงศ์ บึงกุ่ม และธนบุรี ภาค 3350

The handing-over of used bicycles to celebrate the King’s 84th Birthday by the 7 Rotary clubs in Nakhonsitham-

marat was being held at Jaruspichakorn Technological College on October12, 2011 with DG.Orachorn Saisrithong presid-

ing. The used bicycles were from the RC of Toyama City, D 2610, Japan and RC of Higashi Chita, D 2760, Japan, through

the Rotary clubs of Krungthep Suriwong, Bungkoom and Dhonburi from D 3350, Bangkok, Thailand.

รวม 109 โหล โดยทางโรงพยาบาลพร้อมหน่วยแพทย์เคลื่อนที่จะน�า

ไปช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบอุทกภัย
