The organization that coordinates, dynamizes and pro-motes biotechnology, biomedicine and medical technology sector in Catalonia.

Biocat’s mission is helping to create the right environment to add value to research in Catalonia, through knowledge transfer, in order to consolidate biotechnology and biomedicine as a major economic sector and strengthen its role in society.

Biocat’s strategy focuses in consolidating the BioRegion of Catalonia as a cluster, promoting business competitive-ness, internationalization, training and talent and social perception of biotechnology.
