Investing InThe American Way

Over 40 years ago Independence Tube opened its doors in a 50,000 square foot facility in Chicago, Illinois. Independence Tube was, and is today, an American Company dedicated to providing the fi nest tube and pipe products. ASTM A500 Squares and Rectangles were our fi rst products. By 1996 a second facility was operational in Marseilles, Illinois. In 2005 we introduced rounds in our product mix and in 2006 American ingenuity, integrity, and innovation led to a third facility in Decatur Alabama and our entry into the ASTM A252 market.

Today, we are expanding our product offerings to include ASTM A847, ASTM A1085 and CSA G40.21 (350W) with the sizes and services to match. Investing in the “American Way”, while investing in our employees and customers, is key to our current and future success.

It is no accident that the American fl ag has been a part of our heritage since our inception in 1972. The milestones we have accomplished could have only been foreseen by an American born vision and the hard work of all our employees.

You have the freedom to choose your tube and pipe supplier.Consider Independence Tube as Your 1st Choice in Steel Tubular Products.

NEVERbefore possible.

The World’s Most Accurate ThermalMass Flow Meter. From Sierra’s beginning over fortyyears ago, Founder Dr. John G. Olinwas driven by his vision to design theworld’s most accurate thermal massflow meter. Two revolutionary tech-nologies—QuadraTherm® andqTherm™, have made his vision a reality.

QuadraTherm SensorThis revolutionary new four-sensor design isolates forced convection(the critical variable for measuringgas mass flow rate) by neutralizingunwanted heat-transfer components, like sensor stem conduction, one ofthe major causes of false flow reading inaccuracies.

qTherm BrainqTherm is a proprietary algorithm setthat uses QuadraTherm sensor inputsto solve the First Law of Thermody-namics (Heat Energy In = Heat EnergyOut) for thermal dispersion technol-ogy. Accuracy never before possible is the remarkable result!
