Use the Frontier Pro lter to lter water directly rom any water bottle,cup, hydration system or directly rom any water source. The Frontier Pro

lter is tested and certied to remove >99.9% o Giardia, Cryptosporid-

ium. Activated Carbon helps reduce waterborne chemicals and improves

the taste o ltered water. Miraguard antimicrobial technology sup-

presses the growth o bacteria, algae, ungus, mold and mildew within the lter media.

Easy to UsE1) On initial use attach lter to water container.

2) Pull on cap strap and position the cap to the side o the

lter.

3) Pinch Bite Me Valve between thumb and orenger

and squeeze water container to orce water through the

lter and out the valve. When the water stream is clear,

bite on valve and suck water through the lter.

Ne: Flow rates may be slightly reduced and suction a little

dicult, on initial use due to entrapped air in the lter matrix.

Flow rates will improve as the lter media becomes thoroughly

wetted.

t Remve/Replce Prefler Dik:

1) Screw of prelter adapter rom the base o the lter

casing (Fig 1).

2) Pull the prelter disk out o the adapter cup (Fig 2).

3) Place a new prelter disk into the adapter cup

(Fig 3).

4) Screw the prelter adapter snuggly onto the base othe lter casing.

t Remve/Replce Bie Me vlve:

1) While holding the lter with one hand, grab the base

o the bite valve with your other hand. Twist and pull

the valve straight of. (Fig. 4)

2) To replace Bite Me Valve, press the core insert into

the boss until it bottoms out on the rim o the boss.

3) Wet the inside surace o the sheath and press it over

the insert and boss until it bottoms out at the base o

the boss.

4) Position the sealing rim o the sheath so that the

button protrudes slightly above the rim o thesheath. (Fig. 5)

t se up Grvi Flw Drip sem:

1) Remove the Bite Me valve.

2) Attach Frontier Pro to reservoir.

3) Hang the reservoir with the lter at the lowest

point and allow gravity to orce waterthrough the lter. (Fig. 6)

4) Increased distance between the reservoir and the

lter will improve drip rate.

t re fler r exended perid:

1) Remove and discard the prelter disk.

2) Remove cap and Bite Me valve sheath

3) Allow to air dry at room temp. (Min. 48 hours)

4) Insert a new prelter disk prior to next use.

Ne: For maximum protection, use the Frontier Pro in

conjunction with aqumir Wer tremen or

aqumir Wer Purifer tble.

DO NOT FREEZE. Freezing a wetted lter may damage

the lter media and compromise lter integrity.
