Q What makes a successful summer soirée? A Foresight, planning and punch. A pre-made batch of punch means guests can help them- selves, and you can relax and have a good time without constantly making drinks all night. Q Your go-to summer punch? A The perfect mix of freshly picked herbs, clear spirits, lime and a bit of bubbly to liven things up. Q Favourite summer cocktail? A Something crisp, clean and refreshing that’s still complex and interesting. I like a dry spirit with quality, like vodka, paired with citrus to excite the palette. Q How important is creating a great drink? A It’s the utmost importance. The difference between having a drink at a party compared to a drink at home is the experience. A great drink is an experience that’ll be remembered. Q What makes a memorable drink? A When it has something called moreish—that quality when before you’ve finished a drink you want more of it, and that’s what summer is all about.
