    Positive aspects of Globalization:

Globalization is about sharing, like Tewolde Egziabher, professor in Biology, said: "I am

local, rural, communal. And I find that the whole world is a community. We have made

progress in asserting our local community rights globally. We shall continue to do so."

Globalization can surely bring a positive change in the world, if people learn how to act

in ethical terms without harming themselves by accepting illegality or imorality.

    1) Free market, lower prices, higher quality

One of the positive aspects of globalization is certainly the accesibility of products,

services and technology on the market. A free market allows people all around the world

to choose from a variety of goods, whether they are imported or produced in their

country. Due to the fact that nowadays exists a worldwide market for companies, the

clients are no longer limited to a small number of products, like in the communism. Nowthe consummer has the right to choose the good or service that satisfies his need the

most and the standard living can be increased in this way.

For example, someone who lives in Romania can go out and eat Chinese, watch US`s

movies and buy Italian clothes. Acquiring these types of goods, services and technologies

will no longer be seen as something forbidden or impossible to obtain in legal terms. In

the past, these goods were bought mostly from the black market, because the political

system didn`t agree with letting people having free access to imported goods. This

argument indicates the evolution of the society and furthermore the system`s openness

to new, to the idea of a permanent growing economy.

Some countries have labour power, while others happen to have abundant capital

resources or land and forest resources. As an example, the countries specialised in

agriculture will export the products to the lands where this field can`t be very profitable,

because of climate conditions. In exchange, these regions will import, for example, high

technology, from the lands which are specialised in this domain.

A consequence is the fact that nations can specialize in producing higher quality goods at

lower prices, which increases the demand and also the affordability. The divison of

labour enables efficient use of productive factors with minimum wastages. In other

words, globalization may be seen as an exchange between lands, and according to this

    fact, the world becomes connected.

    2) Development of countries

Another positive side of globalization is the development of poor countries by giving

them access to a higher technology. In these terms, the prosperity of these lands will

spread and the economy will grow. Globalization determines the need of respect for

human rights in the actual society. Problems like facing poverty and a high rate of

unemployement are mostly thought to disapear in regions like Africa, India or China.

The reason why big companies prefer creating subsidies or affiliates firms in countries

like India, Phillippines and China is, that the labour power is cheaper and as a result the

profit of the mother company will grow. People from these areas accept to work, even

though their salary isn`t the same as the one that employees from Germany, for example,

get, for exactly the same tasks.

There is no doubt, that some companies rather go outsorcing, because they are paying

lower taxes when producing goods or when they deliver services in countries where the

law is more flexible with the producers. In conclusion, both sides have to win from this

process: the host country`s economy grows and in the meanwhile, the costs of

production reduce, which brings a higher profit to the company who invests in the

poorer regions. Last, but not least, we can say that globalization brings more wealth

    equality throughout the world.
