家品關注人文，以華人文化起家，邀集國際設計團隊，激盪東西雙方觀點！跨越

「蒸」在中國飲食文化已有數千年歷史，是最具代表性的料理方式之一。J IA 蒸

鍋蒸籠三層式設計，可同時上蒸下煮，一次備好兩道美味料理，亦可分開使用。

蒸煮內蓋、量杯、和飯勺等配件，搭配蒸鍋即能完成一鍋美味米飯。蒸煮內蓋能

有效鎖住蒸氣，在米飯蒸煮完成後更將米飯悶透，使口感更佳；另再以飯勺鬆飯，

使蒸煮時的水氣能充分揮發，米粒膨脹均勻，口感軟硬適中。

Steamer

Steaming has evolved to be one of the most iconic and essential cooking techniques in the

Chinese culinary lexicon. The JIA Steamer set enables user to steam and stew at the same time

to prepare at least two dishes in a timely manner. A bowl of pristine white rice is the best

complement for most everyday meals. With the help of rice cooking lid, measuring cup and

spatula, the steamer can make perfectly cooked rice. The rice cooking lid is able to seal in the

flavor and drive moisture into the rice, making the rice soft and fluffy. When the rice is cooked

give it a quick stir with the spatula to distribute the moisture and coat the grains evenly for

better taste and texture.

Authenticity is the keyword for the Wok and Utensils designed by Office for Product Design.

Carbon steel, stainless steel and natural magnolia wood are beautifully crafted together in

harmony. The Wok and utensils invites you to try out creative Chinese home cuisine and makes

a pleasing focal point when presented on the table.

懷著對家常美味醇厚的思念，手持木製碾輪於陶瓷碾槽中來回碾壓，描摹記憶滋

味。「碾」器型靈感來自古代茶碾， 可用於搗碎混合香料、茶葉、中藥材等，是用

以備膳或調製佐料的好幫手。

The Prep

The more the wheel roles, the more flavorful life is. The more flavorful life is, the closer you

are to home. Just a few rolls from the wooden wheel pestle, keeps homemade flavors on your

mind. Inspired by Chinese ancient ceramic tea mortars, “The Prep, Rolling Mortar” is designed

to crush mixed spices, tea leaves, Chinese herb medicines, and so on. Prepping for meals or

condiments, it’s as easy as rolling of a mortar.

Designer uses the strong calligraphic lines of Shou Jing Ti, a font created by Emperor Song Hui

Zong (1082 AD-1135 AD), in the design of this cutlery set. A crafted balance between the

sturdiness of stainless steel with the art of Chinese calligraphy is created and the lines of the

handles echo bold brushstrokes.

宋徽宗所創的「瘦金體」，筆跡瘦勁，運筆飄忽快捷，至瘦而不失其肉。設計師將

東方書寫灑脫明快的氣韻融入西式餐具組，稍具厚度的握柄線條來自書法筆觸，

也體貼到使用者的施力習慣。

Bamboo Charcoal Filter Bottler features a　bamboo charcoal � filter core, when immersed in

water; it will balance the pH　value, purify impurities and soften the water to make it taste even

better. The　bottle features a double-walled vacuumed insulated stainless steel body and a　

leak-proof lid to keep your water at your desired temperature for up to 6 hours.

「三分茶、七分水」茶湯以水質為關鍵，陸羽茶經提及「其水，用山水上，江水

中，井水下。」選用山泉水烹茶，最能展現純韻回甘的茶湯風味。而今，沉穩厚

實的鑄鐵壺，富載古老智慧和設計巧思，以之煲水，能重現山泉水般圓潤甘甜且

富含鐵離子的軟水，鑄鐵絕佳的導熱和保溫功能，能長時間維持水溫，沖泡各式

飲品皆能提升口感風味。貼心配件隔熱底座、蓋置和壺叉，使煮水烹茶過程更加

方便、安全、優雅。

Water, often underappreciated but is truly the key element that significantly improve the flavor

when brewing tea. Boiling water with cast iron kettle will refine the taste of water and using

the water to brew tea will give the tea a more pleasant and well-rounded flavor. Made with

casting molten hot iron into wax molds, the JIA cast iron kettle not only feature excellent heat

distribution, retention and improve the taste of water but doing so with much more refined

design elements like integrated trivets for the kettle and the lid. The JIA cast iron kettle is truly

a modern Chinese design inspired from traditional wisdom.

在物資不是很充裕的年代，中國北方農民將曬乾的葫蘆剖半，用來舀水、淘米。

吃飯的工具就是重要的家當，連繫一家人上桌，象徵家。在擁有一切的富足社會

中，J IA Inc .重新詮釋這個質樸的食皿，讓人重新思考家的意義。自周朝以來，夫

妻行交杯酒禮，用的就是曬乾的葫蘆。葫蘆中式酒水組因應亞洲國家飲酒習慣，

不論是溫熱或是冰鎮，雙層玻璃的設計，讓使用者能在最適宜的溫度，享用冰涼

爽口，或是暖口而不燙手的美酒。

Family Belongings

In the past, farmers from Northern China used naturally dried HULUs (gourds) to scoop water

and wash rice. Tableware and eating utensils were considered essential family belongings that

connected everyone to the same table, symbolizing harmony and a sense of home. The HULU

has been used for natural containers since the Chou Dynasty (1066 BC-770 BC). In wedding

ceremonies of this period, brides and grooms exchanged drinks from a HULU that was cut into

two halves. This ritual symbolized the harmony of yin and yang, while the making of one entity

from two parts represented the beginning of the Home for newlyweds. In Asian countries,

wine/liquor is consumed both warm and cold. When used for either temperature of wine, the

double wall mouth blown wine glass keeps the wine in desirable temperature for longer period.

Reminders of the Earth’s Warmth and Changes Over Time.

JIA Inc. partnered with Gearlab from Taiwan to create a one-of-a-kind coffee pot that makes

use of Purple clay’s unique material qualities. The unglazed sandy texture of natural purple clay

is reminiscent of the warmth of the earth. After extended use, the purple clay coffee pot takes

on the fragrance of your preferred coffee blend and the warmth of your hands. Your memories

will fill this coffee pot and cup, making them your own.

埏埴以為器，當其無，有器之用。

平、淨、圓潤、捨棄多餘線條，讓用者與觀者關注器皿與食物本身。因為有了器

皿內的空間，才發揮了器皿承載物的作用，設計師以老子哲學「有無相生」開始

發想：「有」所以給人便利，是因為所營造的「無」發揮了作用。

這組盤碗，簡化近至無的設計，僅於細節處做變化 : 平盤邊緣微微翹起，與深盤

及碗內緣的弧型突起相互呼應。為求產品給人的細膩手感，更致力於生產工藝上

對邊緣薄度的要求。

Emptiness

The minimal design and the attention to details are to awaken the sense of touch while in use.

With no ambition to translate the philosophy of the centre figure of Chinese Taoism, Lao Tsze

(500B.C.), designer tries to record her understanding for this master’s thinking:harmony

between the being (有you) and the non-being (無wu). To keep the design as minimal as

possible is to encourage the user to notice the void emptiness, the hollow part that people put

food in/on.Consistent and floating lines in this series have made your own free combination on

the table a fun and an artistic event.

醉心蒐羅稀珍玩，帝王瓊藻箱匣安。

開盒盡覽家珍數，藏夢雲深不知處。

多寶盒又稱“皇帝的玩具箱”，盛於清乾隆年間。其結構講究，造型多變，翻轉合

攏成方柱狀可 360 度旋轉，展開 180 度則可呈屏風狀，附可卸式把手以便於攜帶，

用於收納展示收藏品或承載精美小點都別有逸趣。將古帝王擁有收藏的欲望，昇

華成當代的體驗享受，引人入勝的翻轉把玩，為怡情賞玩增添獨特魅力。

Infatuated with rare antiques, the Qing Dynasty Emperor’s collection includes a Garland of

Treasures, small but precious artifacts covering a wide range of materials and forms. It’s

nicknamed as the Emperor’s Toy Chest during the reign of Qianlong. Each curio box is well

designed and filled with delights. When fully closed it turns a column square and can rotate in

360 degrees. It turns into a folding screen when expanded 180 degrees horizontally. The

detachable handle is designed to make the box easy to carry. The curio box is ideal for

collecting cherished crafts and accessories and full of surprises every time it’s played. The

Curio Box is no longer an exclusive to the regal period and has become a luxury in the

enjoyment. The ingenious design continues to fascinate art lovers, adding more excitement in

the unique glamour of curio box.

米通瓷，亦稱玲瓏瓷。紛雪系列的線條簡潔純粹，下緣表面無釉處理，更添細膩

手感。除了作食皿使用，亦是生活空間裡恬淡逸雅的美物。其設計沿襲古代米通

工藝，技成八瓣葉狀，其冰瑩剔透，似雪。影隨光走，猶如冬時細雪，靜悄紛紛。

Rice

Rice grain porcelain is a traditional Chinese porcelain technique dating back to the Ming dynasty

(A.D. 1368). It is characterized by a refined and semi translucent finish. Adopting this traditional

craftsmanship, RICE plays with the subtle contrast between glazed and un-glazes finishes to

create a set of daily dinnerware with a delicate sophistication.
