1 / Why did you register for LNAP? What was appealing?
“
I decided to register because it sounded like an enjoyable way to not procrastinate! The most appealing aspect was the various perks offered and the idea that I would be an environment where everyone was working towards studying.
I really needed to get a paper done and it is helpful to schedule in time to do it. What was appealing was the support offered and the idea that there would be a bunch of people working on similar goals in the same room.
My friend told me about it and I had a lot of homework due the next day and it seemed like a good way to focus and get it all done!
2 / Please rate the various elements of the program.

3 / What did you accomplish during the Long Night Against Procrastination?
“
All 20 respondents completed at least one project or assignment they had started the night hoping to finish!
4 / What could we improve upon the next time we offer this program at LMU?
“
Improvements include the space for studying. There were hardly any outlets placed near all the tables and the room was a bit too stuffy and hot. Also, I would have appreciated a broader range of healthy snacks. Of course I love candy and pizza, but when I study I prefer healthy brain food.
I think the room is too small for 50 people. It's a bit crowded.
Maybe offer different days so more people could be involved and promote it more.
If you had someone there that was like a math or science tutor, I think that would be awesome. Also, and this is not as important, show some puppy videos! Other than that it was a perfect event.
5 / What was the best part about the Long Night Against Procrastination?
“
The candy and the supportive, yet productive environment. Everyone working the night was really great.
The break time where we watched the cute animal videos/bubble wrap. It was a nice break to get my mind off of my studies and not be stressed.
Being in a space where I felt accountable for studying, which deterred me from getting off task.
Being with friends and eating pizza together while being productive!
I thought that the Survival Kits were amazing!! They had such cool stuff that I will definitely use (like the flash drive!)
“
I liked the fun atmosphere! I liked knowing that this night was for us, and that all the staff was dedicated to our success (not that they aren't all the time, because they totally are) and were there to support us, help us focus, and have fun with us that night. The snacks, fun study breaks, generous raffles (! great prizes!), and especially the "survival kits" were incredibly generous as well. I was surprised; I felt practically pampered. Seriously - a flash drive? Wow.
